A 39 year old mother, Marcy Lynn Helms, gave her husband, Brandon Helms, 34, permission to sexually abuse a child for seven years after which he got her pregnant at a feces-filled house in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, US.

Acccording to initial reports from Winston-Salem journal, Brandon Helms, told his wife he will like the little child to be his 'inferior wife' or 'concubine' and he will like her to call him 'lord'. He was on Tuesday sentenced to 136 years imprisonment.

Marcy, his wife, upon hearing of her paedophile husband's request, shockingly let him carry out his sick and depraved wish on the girl which led to her getting pregnant in a feces filled apartment as both man and wife were homeless and mostly lived in a car.

The young child's ordeal ended in May 2018 after social workers were informed of a family living in unsanitary conditions and upon arresting the man and his wife, saw the abused girl and her child hiding on the floor of the back seat.

Upon interrogation, the little child narrated her ordeal in the hands of Brandon and recounted how she was forced to have unassisted labor for two hours while giving birth in a dirty building .

He's now been sentenced to jail for about 136 years for over 20 sex charges that includes statutory rape and felony child sex abuse.

His wife, Marcy, will be sentenced this Friday.

Terrorists have killed 53 soldiers in one of the deadliest attacks on a military outpost in Mali. The attack occurred Friday, November 1st in Indelimane, Menaka region, northeast of the country.

A civilian was also killed at the outpost close to the border with Niger, the country’s communication minister Yaya Sangare said on Twitter. “The situation is under control. A search and the process of identifying the bodies is continuing,” he added, after giving the latest update on the death toll.

He said 10 survivors were found at the outpost, which suffered “significant” damage. No further details of the attack were given. The Malian government earlier condemned the “terrorist attack,” saying it had left numerous dead or wounded but without giving a precise toll. “Reinforcements have been dispatched to secure the area and hunt down the attackers,” the statement added.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for Friday’s assault. It comes a month after two jihadist assaults killed 40 soldiers near the border with Burkina Faso, however several sources said the death toll had been down played. The deadly assault sparked protests outside a military camp in the country’s capital Bamako.

Mali’s army has been struggling in the face of a jihadist revolt that has spread from the arid north to its centre, an ethnically mixed and volatile region. The recent assaults are also a humiliation for the so-called G5 Sahel force a much-trumpeted initiative under which five countries created a joint 5,000-man anti-terror force and for France, which is committed to shoring up the fragile region.

A Police Inspector shot himself and his wife dead at the Prison Barrack, Ikoyi in Lagos state on Saturday October 26.

The man is said to be an Inspector of Police while the woman is an Inspector of Prisons. The reason for the murder-suicide is not yet known.

The couple were rushed to the hospital after the incident but the woman died in the early hours of yesterday October 27th while the man died later in the day.

Confirming the incident to LIB, the spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana, said the incident happened and that the police is investigating the matter to unravel the reason behind the dastard act. He said the names of the couple cannot be released at the moment as their families have not been contacted.

A weird scene played out at a three day church programme organized by Ghanaian preacher Abruku Abruka, as the General Overseer of Anointed Palace Chapel Rev. Obofour made a member of the church he visited, smoke weed in the auditorium.

‘‘You’ll not go without vomitting what you’ve stolen’ — Bakare sends cryptic jab to Bourdillon

Tunde Bakare, serving overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly (LRA), has sent a cryptic message to Bourdillon, saying he who stole will vomit all he has stolen before he goes.

Speaking during a sermon at the Latter Rain Assembly on Sunday, Bakare said the people are praising the one who stole from them, and regarding him as a generous man.

The fiery preacher, who also spoke about the race to 2023, added that a truly generous man is a man who “devises generous things, and by generosity, he shall stand”.

“The eyes of those who see will not be dim. The ears of those who hear will listen. Also, the heart of the rash will understand knowledge and the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly,” Bakare said.

“The foolish person would no longer be called generous. You can say ‘so so and so’ has stolen all the money in the state, but he is a very generous man, you are foolish.

Speaking about the floods in Lagos, the convener of the Save Nigeria Group (SNG) added that the government has not done right by the people.

“You’re complaining about Flood. Since 1999 the condition of this road for 30 years now since I’ve been here has remained the same. They’ll do patch-patch, join-join, until rain comes and reveal that they have not been right with the people,” Bakare added.

“And you think your children will stand shoulder high above the perversity you have created? I see the race to 2023, congratulations Presidential ‘hope-fools’. You cannot, you have stolen what belong to all.

Bakare, who ran alongside President Muhammadu Buhari in 2011, said some people came to him in 2011, and just told him to sign that I would step down after a few days as VP and get a house in Abuja and another one in “Banana Republic”.

Bakare was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) — also known as SSS — in 2002 for his sermons, which were seen as very critical of the government of the day.

Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, has reclaimed the World's Richest Man title few hours after losing the spot to Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.

Bezos who ended Gates' 24-year run as world's richest man in 2018 and became the first man on earth with a net worth of $160 billion, lost the spot on Thursday October 24, after Amazon's lacklustre Q3 results resulted in him losing nearly $7 billion in stock value. Amazon shares fell 7 per cent in after-hours trading.

He returned to the top position at the end of Friday’s markets. His shares fell by just 1% to $1,760.78, putting his net worth at $109.9 billion. Bill Gates is currently worth $105.8 billion.

Bezos’ brief slip on Thursday wasn’t entirely due to his Amazon shares falling as he would never have lost the No. 1 spot if he and ex wife, MacKenzie Bezos hadn’t divorced.

49-year-old MacKenzie received a quarter of their Amazon holdings in July. With a net worth of $32.7 billion, she is among the top 20 wealthiest people in the world.

The woman who was used by at least 6 pastors to perform fake miracles has been traced by a Facebook user.

Chris Kehinde Nwandu announced to his Facebook followers that he has traced the woman and he went on to share photos he took with her. In the photos, she's seen displaying her normal arm.

No explanation has been given yet on how and why she collaborated with pastors to stage a miracle or even if she collaborated with them at all.

The staged miracles were exposed after multiple pastors were seen performing healing on the same woman at different times. In the videos, she is seen with one stunted arm but as the pastor prays, her arm begins to lengthen until it becomes normal again.

So far, all the pastors involved in the fake miracle have not commented.

The Niger state Police Command has arrested three people for stealing pants in Lapai and Kaffin-Koro area of Niger state.

The suspects include 24- year- old Mohammed Ali; 19 year-old Ephraim Isaiah and 18- year- old Abubakar Sadiq.

Mohammed is a tailor while Isaiah and Sadiq are students of Izom Science Secondary School in Guests local government area of Niger state.

Mohammed Ali was arrested when he tried removing a female pant spread inside the room of a female student in State Low-Lost in Lapai.

Paraded by the Police on Friday, Ali confessed that he was contacted by one of his customers to steal four female pants after which he would be given N20,000.

He said that he was in the act of stealing the third pant when he was caught by the people in the area and handed over to the Police.

“One Madaji Yabajeko from Agaie is my customer who comes to sew clothes from me. He approached me to steal pants for him, that if I steal four pants, he will pay me N20,000.

Chinese school makes students who come late to class pay a £1-per-minute fine or do 500 push-ups

A technical secondary school in Xinzheng, China has enacted strict disciplinary procedures to discourage students from coming late.

Latecomers will pay a fine of £1 per minute and those who can't afford to pay will have to do 500 push-ups instead.

The policy was said to be set up by the class's supervising teacher to maintain discipline.

'Our class rules are strict, so what?' A female teacher can be heard questioning a pupil who had complained about the fine in audio leaked by pupils.

'Even if you are late for half a second, you need to pay 10 yuan (£1),' the educator continued.

She claimed the rules had been established during a meeting with all classmates and could not be changed.

'If you think it's too expensive, that's fine, you don't have to pay,' the teacher stated.

'If you ask me if it would be okay to do push-ups and not pay, that's fine. Do 500,' she added.

Students would also be fined if they fall asleep in class, fail to dress neatly or leave their duvets unfolded in their dorm rooms, pupils said.

During an interview, the female teacher explained that the class rules had been drawn up by students themselves.

She also claimed that the money would be put towards a communal fund of the class.

The school said the alleged physical and financial punishment had not been approved by its management.

The spokesperson told a reporter that relevant school officials had been notified with the situation.

The Anambra State Police command has arrested a Pastor identified simply as Chukwuma, for raping a teenage student he reportedly lured on the pretence of conducting deliverance on her.

Narrating her ordeal in the hands of the Pastor, the teenage victim said she visited the Pastor alone for deliverance on instruction of her mother who is a petty trader. She further revealed that the suspect promised to pay her school fees prior to the deliverance session.

She said, “My brother who had been attending the church invited me and my mother to come and experience miracles in the church.

“After booking an appointment with us for a deliverance session the following day, I was shocked when the pastor told me that I was observing my monthly menstrual period.

“Immediately I got to the church, the pastor asked me to go and wait for him close to an ATM within the area.

“I actually went without suspecting any foul play, believing his intention was to cash the money for my school fees he had earlier promised to pay.

The randy Pastor of a church in Ugama Obosi of Idemili North local government area, reportedly came around an hour later requesting that she accompanies him on a visit to some of his colleagues.

She said, “On our way, I started feeling dizzy and the next place I saw myself was in a hotel room where I saw blood stains on the bed sheets.

“It was then it dawned on me that he had drugged and raped me. As I screamed and wanted to leave, he held me and insisted I should enter his car to drop me off.

The girl who was forced to open up to her family about the rape incident following the trauma that ensued, said the Pastor pleaded with her not to tell anyone.

“I was forced to open up having suffered psychological and other traumas which has been affecting my academic performance since after the incident.

“Besides, I find myself always getting moody which have made me restrict my interactions with peers.

“I want the full weight of the law to be meted on the pastor because I know he may have been into such dirty game. He can’t go unpunished,” she narrated soberly.

The Nation reported that Anambra State's Police Spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the incident said the case has been taken over by the Public complaint response unit (PCRU) Abuja.

Couple attempt to recreate photo during their engagement photoshoot but it goes wrong

A couple who are planning their wedding in 2020 decided to have a photoshoot ahead of their wedding but it didn't turn out as they planned.

Alyssa Snodsmith, 23, and Collin Hewett, 24, who met while studying at university in Chicago, Illinois, decided to celebrate their engagement in style. After getting engaged in August 2019, they set their wedding for June 2020 and began putting things in place for their wedding.

An engagement photoshoot was part of the things they had planned. Alyssa went on Pinterest for inspiration for the perfect photo and she found one taken by photographer Brianna Bender which she decided to recreate. However, she and her fiance soon found out that getting the perfect photo is harder than it looks.

Alyssa and Collin scheduled a photoshoot with their photographer friend Chandler Lefever. They got the perfect location, hoping to imitate another couple’s Insta-worthy shot where the man is seen pouring champagne effortlessly into the woman’s mouth. When Alyssa and Collin tried it, they made a whole mess and their photos ended up looking nothing like what they wanted to recreate.

The photographer saw the hilarious side of the photo and didn't want to inform the couple that they had botched the photoshoot till he edited it. Once they saw it, they were entertained as they saw the funny side to it too.

Collin shared the picture on Twitter where it immediately went viral.

The combined troops of 26 Task Force Brigade, 21 Special Armoured Brigade and elements of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have arrested two Boko Haram sect members who have been on the Nigerian Army's most wanted list.

A statement from the Defence Headquarters released last night, says the wanted sect members, Lawan Abubakar Umar Garliga and Bayaga Manye ( on serial 41 and 90 respectively of the Nigerian Army most wanted Boko Haram list) were arrested alongside 14 others during a sting operation against the sect members hibernating around Pulka general area of Gwoza LGA, Borno State on October 20th.

The other sect members arrested during the operation include Alhaji Umaru (a Boko Haram Logistics Supplier), Goni Agwala (Boko Haram Logistics supplier), Momodu Shetene (Boko Haram Logistics Supplier and bicycles repairer), Hassan Audu (Boko Haram Logistic Supplier), Usman Manye AKA Yega ( Boko Haram Logistics supplier ), Ali Lawan (Boko Haram Logistics supplier) and Modu Mallum (Boko Haram Logistics supplier). Barely 24 hours after 11 inmates were rescued from a religious rehabilitation centre in Zaria, Kaduna state, 15 inmates of another rehabilitation center in Yola, Adamawa State capital have also been rescued after a raid carried out by the police.

Suleiman Nguroje, the Deputy spokesperson of the state police command said the rescued inmates were found in dehumanizing conditions at the illegal rehabilitation center operated by a man and his three sons who have been arrested.

While most of the rescued inmates were adults within the age bracket of 22 and 46 years, two of the rescued inmates are said to be teenagers.

“They were being chained, humiliated, victimised, subjected to unnecessary torture. They were in chains for 24 hours without feeding and medication,” he said.

The police has already launched an investigation into the operation of the illegal rehabilitation center.

The Federal High Court in Abuja today heard Omoyele Sowore's application for bail variation.

Sowore, who was arraigned on a four-count charge ranging from insulting President Muhammadu Buhari to money laundering, was given bail condition of paying N150 million and had his movement restricted to Abuja.

Femi Falana (SAN), who is representing Sowore, had described the conditions attached to his bail as “stringent”.

After the hearing, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu has now varied Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare's bail conditions.

According to a report by SaharaReporters, Justice Ojukwu said she found it difficult to believe a man of Sowore's pedigree did not have anyone to deposit N50 million.

Hence, Sowore bail condition was reviewed from N100 million to N50 million and the 50 security deposits was also removed while Olawale Bakare's bail was reviewed from N50 million to N20 million.

A 30-year-old man, Mohammed Babangida, has been arrested for allegedly defiling a 9-year-old girl in Adamawa State.

The man was picked up for the offense by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (#NSCDC), following an intelligence report from residents.

Babangida, who responded to questions from newsmen, said he had given the girl N50 and N20 on two occasions and it was on the third occasion when he gave her N50 that he attempted to rape her.

“I started but I did not finish,” he said, adding that someone knocked on the door and that was how it ended.

66 students of the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa have been expelled by the institution's authorities over alleged malpractice.

The Polytechnic's rector who confirmed expulsion of the students in a statement said it was recommended and approved by the school's academic board. He added that the decision was taken to promote discipline and ensure quality and standards in the polytechnic.

“The decision to expel the students was reached and taken after thorough investigation at the special meeting of the board held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the polytechnic.

Bobrisky called out by followers for passing off a generator key as his car key (video)

Bobrisky who felt quite thankful today, got called out by his followers after he passed off a generator key as his car key while claiming he owns three cars.

The crossdresser in the video he shared said he owns a Mercedes Benz, Range Rover and a Lexus. He described his firman generator key as his Lexus car key. Bobrisky however got busted by his followers who pointed out the "deceit" in the video shared.

An unmarried Hausa Muslim couple are being criticized on Twitter because of the photo shared by the man.

@officialdeezell shared a photo of him and his woman standing side by side. But Muslim Twitter users accused them of "Haram," promoting "adultery and sexual material."

Some quoted Prophet Mohammed, saying "it is better for a nail to be drilled into your head than to touch the palm of a lady who isn't your wife.'

Another said: "Correct your relationship and stop disturbing us."

One Twitter user commented: "Can you hold/touch/hug/shake a red hot iron rod. No you can't. Wallahi it's better for you to touch that than to touch your Non Muharrama!"

However, some people came to the couple's defence and accused their critics of hypocrisy, stating that some of them do worse behind closed doors.
