Most inter tribal marriages involving an Igbo occurred/occurs due to some strong chance, say due to pre marital pregnancy or prolonged living in a non eastern location where friendship ties might be built with non igbos, these 2 factors affect the females more.

The last time I checked MEND were granted amnesty for militancy not terrorism,if not henry Okah shouldn't be in jail but should be enjoying the amnesty that was granted to him before he bombed eagle square.Name one Niger Delta person that bombed people and the government gave him amnesty. So why should bokoharam be given amnesty for bombing people. I don't like GEJ but Buhari is not a better replacement..If APC can't get a more intellectual and level headed northerner like Ribadu then we can as well try a totally new party that isn't pdp or apc..

And this same governor without asking the survived victims called a press conference to blame Chris Ngige for what happened just because a group of people were shouting Ngige when he was campaigning in church.Wether it was Peter Obi that caused the stampede or not. The Governor had no reason to go to a night vigil and mount the pulpit for any reason whatsoever. If he wants to relay a message to the people of anambra he should do that through the right channel.. If he goes to church then he should remain quiet and worship God like every other person in the congregation and leave the talking for the priest alone..

Did you guys read the post before commenting..there isn't anywhere in the news where it says they did it because of the kidnap kingpin..op your title is very wrong..It only says the women are from the same village with the Kelvin dude. Their reasons were well stated.they were protesting against the shut down of their markets and schools by the security forces and other negative attitudes of the security forces..
Btw, why does it have to be old women who are protesting unclad. There should get young girls in their early twenties to do this and it will be a win-win situation.
