You guys have no idea how much joy I have in my heart today, and by God's grace this topic also came up on the day of my baptism. Yes! I was baptized today. 21 December, 2025. It was very early in the morning, my baptism happened in the stream.
Before my baptism, there were so many classes, lessons upon lessons as to who is qualified to be baptized and why it's necessary for our salvation.
Let's look at Matt. 28 : 18 - 20.
In this Bible portions, you realise that it was a commandment to the apostle and the disciples of Christ to go into the world and teach the gospel, baptize those who believe in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross, death and resurrection.
You don't just pick people and run them down to the river to baptize them, they must believe in Jesus Christ and His dead , burial and His resurrection.
So the question now is this; can a baby do this? Can a baby be taught to understand the finished work of Christ? Of course no.
All children are saved in Christ and their sins are forgiven them, they do not need baptism until they grow up to the age of accountability.
Matt. 3 : 13 to 17 gave the narration of Christ baptism. When John the baptist tried to avoid the action, Christ asked him to do so because He wanted us to see it. He wanted us to know how these things should be done, and if we truly believe in Him, why do we need to change the mode of baptism?
In Roman 6: 3 -4
3. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?
4. Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Close quote.
So springing of water as baptism is wrong and baptism for the dead is also wrong.
Baptism is very necessary.

I was dumbfounded when one man in Uyo, ekpri nsukara junction, placed his child in exchange for the virtual game ( akpo o) money.
The wife was not around, he was supposed to pick the boy at school and go home but he decided to give it a try , you know say that thing de call them spiritually, he entered the shop and booked the virtual games, played till almost 6 pm from the time he picked the boy.

Try and be punctual.

God is not 3 in 1. God is one and Jesus is not God. He's the Son of God.
Jesus said He came out from the Father. He also said he from the Father and will return to Him. If it's not absurd to you that someone would come out of himself or return to Himself, I don't know how to to explain common sense to you.
And no, humans are not body soul and spirit.
The Bible said we were formed from the dust and God breathed into us and we were made a living soul.
Bible never mentioned we were given a soul. The breath of God made us a living soul. And what happens at death when God's breath leaves us? We go back to dust. That's common sense and it's simple as that.
