First off, This is the first 2TB PS4 we’re selling, it can actually collect up to 50 games but the games customer chose was very big, that’s why it’s 38 games.

We agreed on 200k for the console, the games, and pad and complete wires. Now before you quote saying it’s not affordable or something, permit me to clear the air at once.

A brand new slim 500GB (with 0 games) as of today ranges from 195k-205k in computer village.
1TB is from 215k and above (lol na dollar cause am)
The one I’m selling is 2TB.

Now you might say “shebi that’s brand new, this is used”

Now let’s assume you’re in the market for a used 500GB PS4 slim, let’s assume you buy it 130k in the market/let’s say you want 1TB and you see a great deal of 145k.

This customer is question requested for 38 games.

Let’s assume all PS4 game disks are 5k each of which obviously it’s not, the cheapest Last of us 2 disk is 8k and so on, but for the sake of orderliness and easier understanding of my point, let’s assume it’s 5k each.

PS4 slim 500GB= 130k
1TB = 145k
5k x 38 games disks= 190k

145k + 190k =335,000 naira
135k + 190k = 320,000 naira

Therefore:
335k - 200k I charged customer = 135k
325k - 200k I charged customer = 120k

From the conclusion above, if you minus the 200k that I charged him for the “2TB hacked PS4 slim with 38 games of his choice from our list of 160 games” from the projected prices we used in the example above, you’ll see that the customer has saved 135k and 120k respectively by buying the PS4 from us, and if that’s not impressive enough, he still got an extra 1TB storage, and wait for it…. Wait for it……. when he’s done with his initial selection of games, he can always come back for more from my extensive list of 160 games at just 1k each!

So my dear big boss, The word “Affordable” is relative sir, when you calculate it well well, you’ll see that patronizing us gives you better value than anywhere else.

While this may sound like a "serve them right" to most of us "extorted" by Multichoice, the question is if they really evaded tax? This was not confirmed by the TAT. They basically latched on to the provision of the tax law which stipulates that you should pay even if the case is unresolved. So if i am erroneously charged an inflated tax and i am appealing, the law expects me to pay. While most nigerians may not be aware, all the IRS have a propensity to charge inflated tax in the hope that something will "drop" during appeal.
If you win, they simpley refuse to credit you and promise you a tax credit over a number of years. In Nigeria economic clime where the naira loses value per minute, you know what that means.

On a personal note though, this looks like another effort to frustrate South African companies. I'm not justifying tax evasion, but if they fold up in nigeria, we lose their contributions to our economy as well as the job they created. And lets not deceive ourselves, no nigerian company can fill their shoes. We are simply not cut out for such stuffs while we are on nigerian soil. We only excel outside.
