That stairs cant be all wood. Definitely some concrete Structure as main frame with wooden finish.
Exactly what I was thinking

I don't understand. Are there not other wood features in our homes already? Bed frames, Kitchen Cabinet, Living Room furniture etc? Why have termites not decimated these already?
There are but trust me, all wooden furniture eventually get attacked, besides something as important as stairs should be permanent. I don't know how its done abroad but I know it is not conducive here.

Hi Skimanski,

A few questions.

What kind of nails do you use for the skirting boards?
Do you use a Pneumatic Nailer to get the nails in?
Do you install wood flooring?
Do you install false walls with plaster boards/Polysterene?
Do you take on projects from a different Architect?
Do you install wooden stairs like this ?
I won't suggest such in a tropical environment like Nigeria where termites are in abundance

What is wrong with feminism. Only weak fear feminists. And besides nobody brought feminism here except you. Both males and females have condemned Maje's act here but I guess they're all wrong and you're right. Let's clap for Maje and crucify Toke.
Like napoleon in animal farm, women are always right. Well I guess the world won't hear word again when Hilary becomes president, maybe its the end times, oh well am enjoying the show, lol

Nairaland, the only Nigerian forum that gives feminists a voice, lol. I personally hate lies if it was me I would be seriously annoyed with her, the Bible even says that marriage built on lies is bound to fall. Well the feminists here should not complain when men lie to them after marriage, daughters of jezebel...

Data is cheaper now? Yes!
Cheap enough to stream channels online whenever you need to? No!
In my location mtn has the better network but I have to subscribe for glo 12gb because it's cheaper and I have more data to stream videos. Yesterday I was watching a match, had to shut down my laptop and go to a friend's house. Why? I couldn't stand it anymore. Network just not good enough for streaming videos comfortably.
Haba, while will you be streaming? It is an expensive endeavor, well I download movies and tutorials, another to avoid such problem from that type of woman is to play video games. Am not into football at all

ITS A BIT DICEY....What i suggest u do is let the bank drain to 505 or even 30% every quarter, u can do this by disconnecting the panels from charging the bank.

another option if you want to help house members may be to reduce ur batt bank to 8 batts, n sell off 4, or reduce ur solar panels, by selling off some.
whats ur total panel wattage, and whats ur average load like/.

kai see wetin i dey find!!! grin grin, , me dey here dey battle with timer switch n all for my villa setup
I hope you are being sarcastic?

Please house, I live offgrid and recently upgraded my 24v setup to a 48v system (since I had 12 units of 100ah batteries sitting on corner), Now I have a setup of 48v 300ah (2 parallel connections). The batteries are fully charged before 12 to 1pm daily depending on sunlight available and batteries are hardly drained to 80% daily. Most times, the next day, I do have my batteries at 85 to 90% remaining. My bank is highly oversized considering the fact that it powers very little load .

My question, will the batteries still degrade quickly even as they are mostly on float always?

Are there any advantages or disadvantages of this setup cos am being advised by friends that the batteries are too much.

I will appreciate all input from the house.
Personally, I believe you are very fortunate, discharging your battery at your current level will only increase the life span of such battery and make room for future expansion.

CelebritiesRe: Blackface Compares Linda Ikeji And Dora Akunyili by tivta(m): 10:00am On Sep 13, 2016
repogirl:
Linda does plenty of humanitarian work.

Dora is not Linda and Linda can never be Dora but both women have impacted people in different ways.

Just because Linda's work is not on newspapers doesn't mean she is a shallow person. She does what she can with what she has but ofcourse it's the banana island you will see. You won't see the news of her pet projects that are aimed at empowering women.
Empowering women is better than saving lifes? Empowering women is better than not being corrupt? My dear stop thinking on the surface, if Dora didn't do what she did would there be women to empower who mostly focus on gossip? You have no idea what length she went through to clean up the Drug market in Nigeria. Linda has nothing to offer humanity except gossip that will eventually lead her to trouble. I rather save lives than empower gossips

In essence BlackFace has finish Linda by saying she spends her money buying shoes, bags and clothes and later shows off, while Dora won many awards. Does he have grudge against Linda to compare her even as successful woman in this manner? They are all successful either by merit or hard work...
Trina0936:
Your on point too! Lol grin
repogirl:
They are both successful women..... I'm sorry but who is black face again?
See them, focusing on fame instead of lives touched, do you know how many lives Dora saved? She even had to fight her husband's people for selling fake drugs, seems you people don't know how many lives fake drugs have taken, just pray never to experience it. Linda cannot reach 1/5 of what Dora reached, imagine her success story is a house in banana island.
CelebritiesRe: Blackface Compares Linda Ikeji And Dora Akunyili by tivta(m): 9:33am On Sep 13, 2016
See all the shallow girls here saying Linda has contributedin her own way, I guess all those girls commenting where not matured enough when Dora was battling her own kins men for selling fake drugs, Linda is just a Kim Kardashian wanna be while Dora is like Mother saint Theresa.

Marriage is for extreme patient men and the funniest aspect of it all Is that " ALL WOMEN ARE THE SAME ",when you think ur own wife is bad and you hear about another man's wife attitude you will gently pat your own wife on the back and tell her to continue . Before reading this story I always thought my wife was out of the way or rude but reading the op story I am now even thanking God for my own ,likewise I know if the op listens to other married men stories about their wives he will see that his wife is a complete angle. All women are the same ,they all have some degree of craziness and madness,no wonder African elderly ppl used to say ladies are like deranged patients, their healing is completed in their husband's house. The woman hasn't even poured pepper or disgraced the op in public!!! She loves the guy. Despite all their madness ,it doesn't mean they dont luv their men,I think the more a woman loves you the crazier she is bound to react to you.
Nice, kindly input on the this thread https://www.nairaland.com/3343908/benefits-marriage-men
