Which of these is the best way of making choices.??
1. Weighing only the good sides of all the choices and picking the option whose good-sides is the most promising.
2. Weighing only the bad sides of all the choices and picking the option whose bad-sides is the least sever.
3. Weighing both the good sides and bad sides of each of the choices, and picking the choice whose good-over-bad index is best.

Help me out with this research question..
........
Which of these persons would you prefer to be with.?
1. Someone who tolerates you very well, and with all your shortcomings, but is not all that good at giving sweet surprises. Every thing is just so smooth and calm.. Or
2. Someone who surprises u every now and then with sweet surprises, but is not so good in overlooking little issues.. At one moment it gets so excessively sweet, and in de next moment it is a quarrel, and then, back to another sweet moment..
.......
(Please, I wouldn't want you to tell me "both", because in reality, such perfect persons dat has both qualities are very rare to come by.. Also, mind you that none of the two personalities are better than the other. So, just choose one and allow others to choose theirs, because you are not the one that is doing the research.)

WHAT I BELEIVE:

1. Buhari is not behind boko-haram, neither is GEJ.

2. PDP as a party has not failed Nigerians. It is the failed people that were in PDP that failed Nigerians.

3. If the same failed people in PDP should move to any other party, they will still fail Nigerians.

4. I have still not seen the change in any of these new parties and their aspirants. So, I will stay with the devil that I know who can never get worse (if at all he is a devil).

5. I don't belong to those group of people that believe they are suffering. No.. I am over happy and will remain happy.

6. Come 2019, if God give us life, I shall have cause to review my choices because, by then, everything will be on a new plate. GEJ won't be eligible again, Buhari will be 75, Atiku may change party. Amaechi may change party. We all may change our party preferences again.

For me, hugging at times and little perks on the head... Yess.. Just that type of love that I can show in public is good for their eyes.. This will also teach them the extent that they would naturally not go beyond in public when they are in love.. It would also teach them how normal hugging is, so that they won't feel butterflies and fall in for any guy/lady that hugs or perks them.

Nairaland General › The Way I Used To Sing The National Anthem.. by tk4rd(op): 2:12am On Oct 01, 2014
It is Nigeria's Independence Day, and I am here remembering how I used to sing our dear national anthem..
I know that Nigeria will forgive me. After all, I was not the only one...

Hear me as I sing below..

"Araizo compatraiz.
Nigeria ko n'obe.
Tu saa, awa father land.
With law, and say, and say.
Tha neighbour all are hero band.
Shall never be invane.
Tu saa tu saa awa march.
Nwanne chobam in freedom.
Pinsa Unity....."
.......
I so much love those days...
You may be surprised to know that I still remember the faces of all my friends then.
I might not remember their names again, but the images of their little playful faces are still in my memory. I still remember some silly things we did those days that always warranted daily strokes of canes from our "Aunty".
Politics › Boko-harram Is A Big Puzzle That Needed To Be Solved Intelligently by tk4rd(op): 9:34am On Sep 30, 2014
IT REALLY BAFFLES ME..
I used to believe that Boko-Harram were some group of misled frustrated youths.
Those early days, they were operating with daggers and fertilizer explosive bombs.
But now, what are we seeing.?
We are now seeing a group of intelligent fighters with sophisticated gadgets and weapons.
Who are these people.? Where do they get their intelligence from.? Where do their funding come from.?
They no more go with fertilizer bombs. They now go with IEDs, armoured vehicles, rocket launchers, antiaircraft missiles..
Where do they get all these.?
Are they still a group of misled Muslim youths.?
Then, where are they getting all their intelligence and gadgets from.?
The innocent Nigerians are the ones that are being thrown into deeper confusion..
These guys are not just ordinary misled guys.

NIGERIA IS RICHLY BLESSED
TV/Movies › Re: How MTN Is Killing The Quality Of Project Fame West Africa With Greediness by tk4rd: 5:45am On Sep 22, 2014
isaactolu: MTN is one of the most innovative and creative brand in Nigeria, I know a lot of you have issues with them (including me) but that does not deny the fact that this company has been proven time and again to be miles ahead in creativity and innovations. From their advertisements, their value added services, community projects to their talent hunts and reality shows am sure you will agree with me that they are a genius or let me say they have some genius handling these areas because in some other areas, hmmm you and I know MTN ‘na wash’. A lot of us still remember the“Chris, where is the phone” advert not to talk of the more recent Saka I don port ooo advert, the truth be said MTN makes us enjoy watching adverts on TV, not to talk of ‘Who Want To Be A Millionaire’ show and their Project Fame West Africa is undoubtedly the best among its peers.

Project Fame West Africa (which I will refer to as PFWA henceforth) is the best talent development reality TV show in West Africa. PFWA has produced some of the country’s finest musicians since its inception 7 years ago and all, I mean all of it past winners have gone on to become hits in the music industry, from Iyanya, Chidinma, Monica and recently Olawale, you will agree with me that PFWA has always produced stars.
Have you ever wait for a minute to examine why PFWA always produce stars that after the show make their marks and become popular in the music industry whereas rival TV shows like Glo Naija sings, Etisalat’s Nigerian Idol repeatedly fail to match such feat? You will observe that we don’t even get to remember the names of past winners of these rival shows whereas we can still vividly remember who the fourth runners up of like 3 seasons ago of PFWA was.
PFWA has become this successful simply because of its structure of operation what we can call its Modus Operandi. Rival shows all have the same structure which differs from PFWA structure and that is why they are not as successful. PFWA is structured in such a way that it will always produce the best from the bests.
We have a panel of judges, the faculty and the contestants. The faculty gives each contestant a task to do, a song to perform and they also coach and tutor them so as to get them to give the best performance possible. All the contestants perform at the show where they are scrutinized by the judges pointing out their errors and areas they need to improve on. The judges then select the 4 worst performance of the day and put them on probation. From these 4 contestants, the viewers will save a contestant; the faculty one and the other contestant will save 1 the other contestant not saved will exit the show.

If you look at this structure properly you will notice that it is guaranteed to produce the best out of the bests. A very good contestant is likely never to be on probation throughout the show- we have seen this in past seasons, examples include Monica, Chidinma etc. But this season MTN just came up with the greedy idea of putting all the contestants on probation after the 3rd week. This act will surely increase MTN’s revenue from voting but it will kill the quality of the show as it is the contestant with the highest number of votes that get to remain in the competition cos we all know that anybody that will vote due to the high cost of the SMS charge will only vote for his/her friend or relative among the contestants regardless of whether he/she is aware that the person is good or not. In other words, I can’t have a friend or relative among the contestants and not vote for him/her even if I realize there are better contestants in the show.

What this will result into is producing the contestant with the highest no of rich friends and relatives (who could afford the high cost of voting) as winner instead of the producing the best contestant as winner. This is the system that rival shows are using that is making them never to produce a true star. MTN following this system will surely increase their purse but will speedily kill the quality of the show.
And we are already experiencing this in the exit of Shola (I know you all agree that he is by far better than some of the contestants left in the competition). Just look at the scenario that put Geoffrey, Shola, Christian and Daniella on probation believe you me if the original system had been used, none/just one of them would have been on probation.

MTN will truly make money from this new system but at the same time they will kill the quality of the show, it is now left for them to either choose to pursue money or the quality of the competition.

If they should put all the contestants on probation, then, they should vote the other way round. They should put up the vote for the contestant that should be eliminated. Just like the way it is in the BBA.

seunmsg: You did nothing wrong by refusing kenneth since you have an official boyfriend. There is nothing wrong in sticking just to a guy, you would have done wrong by dating two guys at the same time. And how are you so sure this Kenneth is truly an angel? That he calls, sent you sms and recharge card doesn't mean he's truly in love with you. We guys do all those things just to get what we want. So please, stick to your boyfriend and stop ranting about one Keneeth that is probably digging another girl at the moment.
That is, if she is still with the boyfriend that made her to loose Kenneth.. She misses Kenneth and feels so bad about it because the reason why she declined Kenneth didn't even last long.. And for her to call the Kenneth she never gave a real chance an angel, then, it means that the said boyfriend (and the list of other boyfriends that followed) is/are bad.

Nairaland General › Importance Of Gully Erosion by tk4rd(op): 2:30pm On Aug 26, 2014
I have been trying to find out...
Can gully erosion be put to any good use.?
Is there any way a gully eroded site can be converted or reclaimed, and used for some other meaningful things.?
Now,,, Let us look at it with a case at hand...
In a town where there is a big gully, and such a town is known for such a big gully, (A town like Nanka in Anambra State); the size of such a gully being as wide as 16 Football fields stacked side by side, and as deep as a 10-storied building..
When it rains, the rate of flow of water in the gully is almost the same as discharging six full water-tankers simultaneously within a minute through an opening as big as a 4m-diameter concrete pipe.
And I am asking, Is there a way this kind of gully and the water flowing through it at such a destructive rate can be converted to something useful.? huh
