Look guys this is not an argument of who is in a better financial position. I never said ManU don't make profits. I am not arguing about who makes more money. Haiving said that, can you for sure show me proof that ManU "effectively" services its debt. . . . and effectively means "as supposed to". . . are you sure you are not dwelling on hear say.

The glaziers secured a deal when they took over ManU that saw their intertest payments drop from $180m a year to $124m a year. . . but they went on borrowing and all time borrowing has increased from $1.16bn to $1.32bn and ManU's current intertest payments stand at $180m a year . .

Their last financial books read Revenue of $331m , PBT $62m

How the hell can you justify "effectively servicing debts". . . if this results released by ManU is right. . . or maybe there is different explanation for "effectively servicing debt"

Figures are [b]un[/b]necessary distractions when it comes to analysing the state of health of a club.
If u care to know, rich and vibrant coys/countries cannot do without borrowing. You can name it, USA, dangote group, Manchester UTD, saudi Aramco et al are set ups that run to banks for one particular project/biz for financing.
If UTD feel the only way to make more money, win more trophies is to be in debt, then so be it.
as far as im concerned, UTD according to valuers is the biggest football club in the world in terms of rev. U can use any index, PBT, PAT, EBITD or any other thing, UTD is far more a healthy club than Chelsea

Just watched the interview on sky sports. Benitez was prepared for this big time - he brought out a sheet fof paper and started reeling off Fergie's offenses one after the other. Classic

Don't think this is a meltdown though - he's basically putting pressure on refs and the FA to punish any misbehaviour of Fergie. If there's a bust up on Sunday and Fergie doesn't get punished, more and more people will believe this is the case. Benitez is loving being on top, it gives him the ability to talk down at everyone else.

That said, Benitez is an even bigger complainer than JM ever was - Benitez complains about fixtures, refs, transfer fees, owners, name it. Methinks he is simply a bit jealous Fergie is usurping him as the biggest complainer. By complaining about Fergie, he's regained his position as the premiership's whiniest manager.

As much as I think Rafa is up to no good mind games, most of what he stated are clear facts that no one can dispute.

There's a different officiating and treatment for Fergie and ManU and there appears to be a different one for the rest of the premiership. Through shady refereeing, questionable penalty decisions, favourable FA fixtures etc ManU have been continually aided to win more and more EPL titles.

I think the only solution is for Fergie to resign.
