Hello pls I have this important question to ask; I'm a civil engineer, I qualify for the stream 190 visa. My issue is about the assessment body. I have a four years experience in construction but this four years I had is a mini construction company I started myself:I don't pay myself salary or have a pay slip, how do I submit my evidence of employment and experience.

Most of the time, AL2 and AL3 schools, if there is any, are usually cheaper than AL1 schools. More so, schools outside of Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide can also be cheaper, Lastly, Lowly ranked schools might also be cheaper. In all of my insinuations, I stand to be corrected. If you can Google based on the keywords in my response, you should be clinching your choir schools based on cheap fees. However, you can go the PR way, its doable especially because you are in the engineering line, young and can ace IELTS. My two cents

Hello Op, I must commend you first for putting up 500k from saving. This is hard to come by among youths in the country.

My advice to you is that NEVER plunged into any business you are not skilled at. And don't give out your money to an unguided investment.

As a risk taker, I have done a lot of businesses and I am still trying on some now. There is no such magic in making it quick from business especially due to the economy. What works for others may not work for you.

I will implore you look around you and start off with what you have interest in with a little amount to reduce your risk.

Like me, I invest in ailing businesses i.e. buy a business form someone who complains it is not thriving well and I polish it and make cool cash and later flip it for higher price to another interested person.

This is my area of interest and my passion is to buy Nigeria Railway system someday. And other sectors that is not working.

I may not have said what you need to hear but it is my little advice to you.

Fabricate form work for reinforcement/pillar and foundation for potential house builders to hire instead of buying wood and bamboo for reinforcenent , decking and foundation.

If you buy 500k worth of wood, aluminum sheet, hinges, iron rod and polythene bags.
If a potential landlord is quoted to buy 70k worth of wood for pillar or 100 pieces of wood for foundation, you can save the landlord money by renting to him or her for half of the cost of buying wood that will end up going to waste.
As a civil engineer you should have an idea what I'm talking about. If not quote me

Innovation deals with ideas FIRST not money! Besides, your 500k can start any idea and still sustain you.

I'm working on a particular material in construction now, which can replace modular building and less cost.

What I first noticed is the income you wanted to start generating even when you don't know the business to venture into, which isn't a good idea for a start up business.

I guess you're an Engineer, what happened to doing a research on how to replace or cost reduction of construction materials?

Somebody started hollow sand-crete block and people accepted it, what if you come up with an idea that can replace hollow sand-crete block?

Why did you study engineering if you can't use it to effect change in society?

My brother, keep your money for a while and start to think about idea you can initiate in your field.

Stop looking for quick money, idea rules the world.

Thanks boss but if you read again what I wrote up there, probably you wouldn't need to write all this, even though I read it keenly and learnt from this write up, I would need to disassemble what I wrote up this, if u read the part that I said construction contract are not something you would always get everytime, having said that sir one will need to sustain himself when there's no work available.bringing in new innovations deals with money sir, and person wey chop na him idea fit stay for him belle. Read again sir and share if u have any other ideas.
