bawomolo:And ya point be? Na since when nature dey turn pipu to adofuro? You get scientific proof to back up this ya jagbajantis claim? If u wan be adufuro, na ya own prerogative be that but don't try to feed me that nature bull-crap line cause you know darn well that's not true! Homosexuality is a lifestyle people choose to live, nature has nothing to do with it. And by the way gan pa pa, where you get that ya bloated statistics sef? Abeg, make pesin hia word o jare. Nature ko, nurture ni (hisses). . . osi o da ni le pako. Walahi u don dey watch too much gay & lesbian channels Peace! JustGood:LMYO! Haba my brother! That one come too harsh now. . . but e funny o! But come o, you owe me copyright money for using the word adofuro as e be say na me launch am here and besides that word is patented o. ![]() |
A_K_O:ROFLMYO! Wo, interhouse sport pipu sef prepare better pass our athletes o jare. Then again, I no go too blame our athletes when be say na last minute dem dey call dem for camp and sometimes no dey pay them their allowances on time. Abeg congratulations to Mr. Ishaku o jare. Make una just watch how dem go just brush this man wey don make Naija proud aside after a couple of days. Kai, if na obodo america, hin don strike gold be dat o. . . corporations wey go sign am endorsements just to show pipu say nothing wey u no fit do regardless of your situation. Again, congradulations to you Mr. Ishaku. Peace! |
Mad_Max:Chei! Olorun oba o, see how western oyinbo culture don brainwash some of my pipu so? Are you telling me that redefining what marriage is (and should be) doesn't bother you? Come on now, you know as well as I do that same-sex marriage is not just wrong but morally wrong. . . don't drink the western kool aid abeg. Haba! baba God been create only Adam and Eve ke, no be Adam and Steve now, wetin! I know say e no concern you whether pesin wan be "adofuro" or not but let me ask you a question, which I hope you will truthfully answer. Ok, here goes: Would you still have the same nonchalant attitude if one of your off-springs (don't know if u have any or not) came to you and said they were gay? Take a minute or so and think about that. Abeg, make una no let this yeye widely acceptable culture no make dey use our common sense again o. And by the way, before you bash me as a religious, bible-thumper, well I hate to disappoint you that I'm far from that cause that's always the first line argument folks who share your kind of ideology use to try and spin the issue. Just thought I'd let you know in case you were planning on using that line. Peace! khai_khai:No, the poster didn't insert "culture" in the topic sir. That's the actual headline of the article sir. . . if only you followed the url the poster provided, you would have seen that. Peace! |
@ poster, Mod just answered your question there. When you install YIM, the second option the arrow is pointing to is selcted by default. You have to go in there (just like she explained) and select the first option. Good luck. Peace! |
babalola s:If that's the case, then go ahead and format it from there. inze's guess (same as mine) is dead spot on the money. The CD is not a bootable CD but it shouldn't stop you from installing a fresh copy of XP. Peace! |
Quote from OlowoTee: Nice work!!! Great Job!!!! I prefer the winne-de pool (Chei!) character cake. Answer to your question! Have you tried "Cakes and Cream" Cakes too?? They are on Opebi Road, Ikeja. Their cakes are wonderful, creamish too. ============================================================================================ Lol! Sista, na Winnie the Pooh o! ![]() |
Negro_Ntns:I thought I was the only one who noticed his arrogance and thinks he's an elitist just like everyone in D.C. How about his "clinging to guns and religion" remarks he made in West Virginia a couple of months ago right in front of the local residents? I mean how arrogant can you get. On top of that, he gave a speech during one of his campaign trails standing at a podium that has a replica of the presidential seal on it. If what you said is true, then he's really digging his own grave come November. Did anyone seriously think the Clintons (Hillary in particular) want him to win? You gotta be kidding me! Clintons clearly understand if he wins, Hillary's hope of trying again in 2012 is lost and as a result, there's a possibility of a large scale sabotage to Obama's candidacy during this election. Everyone seem to forget the fact that Hillary and McCain are somewhat buddies and what better way to create a chance for herself in 2012 other than helping McCain win. I won't be surprised if Hillary suggested the woman V.P. to McCain. Peace! |
kay_pumpin:Really? And what would that be oga sir because you haven't mentioned at least one reason you detest them. So, what do they stand for that you so much detest oga? Hmm, let me guess, could it be limited government, self-reliance without government meddling into your private lives, lower taxes. . . ? Oga, I'm just curious o, abeg help me. na2day?:Lol! Like Democrats are any better! You all never cease to amaze me. I can give you quite a few examples if you want. Ok, here goes: 1. Al "Mr. global-warning" Gore - In case you don't know uncle Al's mansion in TN (that's Tennessee for the state abbreviation challenged folks) is not as green as he lectures Americans to believe o! See for yaself if you think I'm making it up. And to think oga gore was once a V.P. and presidential candidate come pass me o! 2. Nancy Pelosi, una house speaker wey recently no gree make them vote for house over the energy crisis wey dey face the country. Since u dey on hypocrisy, why not check out some of her share of hypocrisy. 3. Harry Reid, senate majority leader wey hin own wayo sef pass our politicians for naija (lol). You can take a peek at one of hin own sef. Make I go on? Lol! Bottom line is this, no matter how you see it politicians will always be politicians but the only difference is who's actually putting the country before the party--yet to see one. Peace! |
Quote from KoboJunkie: I believe the pick is a perfect choice for McCain, even though I was hoping he would go for Mitt Romney. Palin happens to be one of the very few conservatives out there who has been actively fighting against wasting spending in Government. She is just like McCain in that area, and the fact that she happens to be a woman, makes it even more interesting. =================================================================================================================== Abeg, tell all this Obama-maniacs for Nairaland o. What's more, the people she fought against are in the SAME party as she is! ==================================================================================================================== Quote from 4Play: Wonderful logic. So because his opponent has a supposedly inexperienced running mate, that makes up for wanting to be an inexperienced President. Even then,Palin has more executive experience than Biden and Obama combined ============================================================================================================================================= Gbam! A fact that all the Obama-maniacs choose to ignore or just plain ignorant of! Everyone is rooting for Obama because they see him as the potential first black president (despite the fact that he's equally as white as he's black) of the United States despite his lack of qualifications and his somewhat poor decision making (his association with Rev. wright for example). Personally, I feel there should be a third party in the US. because both the Republicans and the Democrats are the same status quo of the old politics. The only difference is that one believes in limited government (which makes logical sense) while the other believes in big government that pretty much mandates what you can and cannot do (so much for freedom). By the way, isn't Obama suppose to be the candidate of change? So, making Biden (mind you he's been in the senate for donkey years now) his running mate indicate a change? I don't think so! What a joke--it's going to be the same ol' politics of increased spending and higher taxes. On a final note, I'D just warn you all not to underestimate the brains of the Republicans because this Palin move is one of the many strategic moves I can see coming from them. Has everyone forgotten the 2000 election (Floriduh! anyone). Oh, how about 2004? How they used the fear of national security and the evangelical votes to shut down Kerry. I forsee more aces up their sleeves cause they're just too smooth for the divided Democratic party at this point. Peace! |
Quote from reindeer: i heard of someone who wrote an application letter and started with dear sir/madman, Grin i wonder if he ever got the job! then i saw this signboard at costain bus stop many years ago treat your Malarear here! also we treat gonorear, and staffylokus, Grin Grin Grin ========================================================================= ROFLMAO! folahann:Have you tried playing in an 80+ degree temperature with high humidity? You should try it sometime to see how fun that can be--I'm sure you'll be thrilled. What you failed to realize is that those other matches were played in the evening around 5:30pm while this one was played at 12 noon. Hmm, let's see could that be a factor? And I wonder why the ref stopped the game 25 mins into each half for a water break. Perhaps, for the players not to dehydrate and possibly pass out on the field? ![]() |
ehie007:That's exactly what I thought too. I think he must have panicked cause Di Maria was still a long shot from him. Though the defense sort of fell asleep there after a magnificent first half. Hannibal: On the contrary, I think they played confidently throughout but their only problem was just lack of finishing. They created so many chances but just couldn't capitalize on them. They played better, paced the Argies very well but just lack that final touch to put the ball in the net. |
deept:I concur! I was surprised though. |
This is the most annoying game I've ever seen. We played better but give up a stupid, silly goal and what's more we blundered many chances. We just can't finish! The jaga jaga goalkeeper was never tested at all despite so many chances we created. I'm so ticked right now with our boys for their lack of finishing. Sooo many wasted chances. |
agaba123:ROFLMAO! See, na part of the unintended consequences wey I suspect and fear be dat o. Yes o, demm for call the bish-comber babes--wo, demm for hear wein! Ruby_Pearl:Abeg, all dat na noise and shakara o jare. Quote from lepashandi: ====================================================================================== This is one thing i hate about these people abroad - they think once you talk against them - it is because you are envious of them - refused visa? I have a permanent residency in the UK - don't you read my previous posts - i can visit and go to my home anytime i like - i don't have to stay abroad to wipe oyinbo woman's butt hole to survive. ====================================================================================== Oh really? Hmm--last time I checked you started the personal attacks on the so-called people in the diaspora o. Our people hypocrisy never cease to amaze me sha. Wetin you dey take oyinbo residency do if you're so "Naijacentric" like you claim to be. I guess for ya own feeble mind, na everybody wey dey abroad dey clean oyinbo yansh. Na wa for dis ya education o! ================================================================================= lepashandi Posts: 39 Re: 'Return Home', Fashola Charges Nigerians In Diaspora « #335 on: Today at 01:31:06 PM » The point is this - the people who are crying and saying why should they come back to Nigeria - they are afraid of the following: Afraid they will come back and begin again because they have nothiung to show for donkey years of living abroad Afraid that those they left behind to travel have gone far ahead in life more than them Afraid that they will be a nobody when they come back to Nigeria - Afraid they can't compete with their mates who choosed to stay behind and above all ashamed to discuss what they spent their time doing while they were abroad while their mates at home went through everything to suceed. Why will they want to come back? ====================================================================================== Obviously, you're missing the point, which I'm not surprised after reading your posts. Most of these people never said they wouldn't come home contrary to what you've skewed up there. They said they'll come when living conditions (which is one the basics of life) improves. And as for your conclusion, it's flawed with sentiments and lacks substance. Oh b.t.w. gan pa pa, that word na "chose" no be "choose" like you put am dia--me I be olodo o and I no get ya oga pata pata "Master degree" o. ![]() ====================================================================================== lepashandi Posts: 39 Re: 'Return Home', Fashola Charges Nigerians In Diaspora « #339 on: Today at 01:35:49 PM » who is the wise one here - the one who used to be a graduate in Nigeria and had a bank job but for the sake of travelling - abandoined a well paying bank job to travel abroad - and when she got abroad - all she could do was to do a carer's job - which majority of Nigerians do abroad - wipe and change old peoples diapers, clean their butt, their shit - their dikc - their pussy - everything - and all in the sake of Nigeria is not good - but you left a bank job at home - who is the fool - the one who stayed to roughen the weather in the same bank or she who left - and five years after she came back - she realiszed all the people they entered the bank job at the same time are now managers and earning big - who is the foolish one? ====================================================================================== Again your argument lacks substance because the same could be said about successful people living in the "diaspora" and their not so successful counterparts in Naija. You seem to base your argument on sentiments, which is why I find some of your posts on this topic very laughable. Face it, our Naija need more than Daman miracle at this point at the hands of our corrupt leaders. Oh, I go let you slide for that "abandoned" spelling dia cause I go assume say na typo. Yeah right! ![]() ====================================================================================== lepashandi Posts: 39 Re: 'Return Home', Fashola Charges Nigerians In Diaspora « #342 on: Today at 01:37:15 PM » Quote from: $$Rhino on Today at 01:35:00 PM Are u saying that people show leave the comfort of what they know and used to, to face a life of uncertainty in a nation that don't even give a damn about her people? How much are you ared for in the country where you are? you are treated like a king or what? you don't sweat for money like others do - or you pick it on the ground there? what makes you better? i realy want to know. Again, you've failed to grasp the point here. So, you're telling me in your own mind your definition of comfort is being treated like royalty? How amazing! My dear comfort does not necessary equate to how wealthy you are you know. Comfort entails sense of feeling secured and not in danger, healthy life, ability to provide for you and your family --I can go on and on. Come to think of it, your last sentence there makes one wonder if you're not having some complex issue there, you know inferiority complex. Why did I say that? I am yet to read where these people living abroad claimed to be better than our people for home. ====================================================================================== lepashandi Posts: 39 Re: 'Return Home', Fashola Charges Nigerians In Diaspora « #344 on: Today at 01:42:15 PM » I am making an appeal to Seun to ban all these so called diasporic Nigerians from coming to this forum - they think they are better than everyone else because they live abroad - forgetting people lived there way before they were born and even will continue to live their when they are gone. Why are you on this forum if you don't want to identify with Nigeria? Our fore fathers were taken for slavery - theyu still resisted - they wanted to be free - they didnt like to stay in the white man's country - they didnt say - oh - our country where we were captured is bad - let ius stay here as slaves - no - they fought - they wanted non of the so called good life - they wanted to be free and go back to their own homes - wether good or bad - but no - these days - if the slave trade is to take place again - the likes of Kobojunkie - Rhino - Onyinye - will be the firs to approach the white man and surrender as slaves - why - because they want to escape the hardship to go live in the paradise of the white mans country. ====================================================================================== Lol! And you claim say you get Master degree so? I seriously doubt am with this senseless and laughable remark you've just made. You want the administrator to ban the people that have a different opinion than you do? Did you even put any thought to this before you typed it? I mean, how ridiculous and childish is that! |
