@agaba, brosi how now, long time no hear. How dey go dey go now? Omo, leave oga Sam alone o, he still dey nurse some feelings for that chikito deep down o jare (hard to admit). But that's by the way sha because you did made a good point there which I go reiterate shortly. Omo, dem need to make women's beach volleyball an annual international event o! ![]() @oga Sam, just like agaba stated, I was wondering myself what is her motive for wanting to be even "just friends?" Se, she still dey naija sha, if so maybe she dey hope say she go fit lori e (use u) try waka comot for naija o. Brosi, just be careful o and don't let ya guards down cause I smell a rat with this sudden appearance of ya past omoge. Best of luck to you. Peace! |

Treetop20:O su mi o! I think say na only me sef notice, abeg tell them! @post, just like someone stated (and I quite agree), this guy could be mentally handicap cause no one in their right mind would think they could get away with that much drugs without being caught. Having said that, how do we know the individual in question is a Nigerian. Couldn't he have used a Nigerian passport with a Nigerian name to perpetrate the alleged crime. I sense some foul play here cause the story doesn't jell at all. Why wasn't the drugs detected when he checked it into a storage at the airport? How and when did they (Chinese authorities) find out there were drugs in the stored suitcase? How come they didn't apply however method they used to discover the contents of the suitcase before he had it stored at the airport's storage? And how in the world did he made it past the Chinese customs/immigration authorities without being caught. Finally, how in the world did that many drugs (including the weight) fit in that not-so-big suitcase? There are so many unanswered questions about this story o jare. Bottom line is, there's more to this story that's not being disclosed. Peace! |
@poster, try running the commands fixmbr and fixboot separately from the recovery console using your XP installation disc. I have a feeling this might be a hardware issue and not a software issue hence the BSOD you had earlier prior to you doing a clean install. Did you install/upgrade any hardware e.g. memory recently? If you did, remove it and try to load windows again. Give us a feedback, good luck. |
brianromel:It's amazing how people come up with solutions without first understanding the problem. @poster, could you provide details of the problem? For instance, what do you mean by badly shutdown? Did it reboot itself automatically or it just shuts down while in use? Also, did you install any new software, hardware or updated any drivers recently? Whatever you do, do not format your hard drive, it might just be a software or hardware compatibility issue you're experiencing. Give more details of the problem and we'll go from there. Again, DO NOT format your hard drive unnecessarily! Peace! |
@poster, can you be more specific? When you said the screen remains blank after you push the start button, are you referring to icons on your desktop missing or are you talking about a blank screen before booting into the OS? Are you able to login to Windows or not? Help us better understand what the problem is so people can help you. Peace! |
Just use DVD Shrink. You can even remove unnecessary scenes using the software (ok, maybe that's getting into too much for what you're trying to do). But you can't go wrong with DVD Shrink and what's more, it's FREE! Good luck. Peace! |
@poster, more than likely that profile is corrupt due to some bad sectors on the HD. Can you login to Windows with the built-in administrator account? If so I'd suggest you do that and run chkdsk /r from the command prompt. Go to start -> run or hold down the Windows logo key + 'R" and type cmd in the list box. Click ok and at the commnd prompt, type the command above. It will tell you windows is using the file, type Y(es) for it to run chkdsk when the PC reboots. Reboot your PC and let it run chkdsk after which Windows should boot up normally. If chkdsk finds (I bet it would) and repairs ton of bad sectors, you might be looking into investing in another HD very soon. On the other hand, if you can login using the built-in administrator account, create another user account with administrative rights, login to that new account and log back in as administrator. While logged in as administrator, copy the user account you're unable to login when you got the "cannot create temp profile, " error to the new user account you've just created. If you're able to log in with the new user account, you probably still want to run chkdsk cause you might still encounter the same problem soon. If you still can't get into Windows, try safe mode with command prompt to do all the tasks I mentioned above--- press F8 immediately after the PC maker's splash screen disappears and shows a black screen (usually lasts for like 2 to 3 secs). Good luck! Mustay:@mod, I have no comments but it's obvious he wasn't referring to your post---no need to get defensive like you've been with my comments. Peace! |
Dude, you again! You've left this thread and opened another one here and still masquerading as several users. Abeg mod, this bobo don dey become nuisance with hin jaga jaga threads o. |
@mod, when you stated OS initially, you had me confused because to my understanding Windows (all versions included), Linux, Mac and so on are all OSs. Maybe if you had asked what version of Windows poster is running like you just clearly did now, I won't be confused in the first place. I was merely trying to get some clarification on what you meant there. Now, as far as helping the poster, he/she hasn't really provided enough information for anyone to try to determine what could be the cause of the problem and offer possible solutions. Besides, namzo and Mustsay already offered possible solutions but until we know exactly what transpired prior to poster getting BSOD, we can only speculate. BSOD can be caused by various things i.e. a recent change in hardware (like namzo stated, though it could be some other h/w other than the RAM), recent driver change or install, recent software install, and so on. And just out of curiosity, how is asking for a clarification pertaining the subject off-topic? @poster, did you recently install any new software or hardware prior to getting the BSOD? Did you update or install a driver recently? Answers to these questions can help determine why you're getting BSOD. At this point, I'll suggest you do what mustsay suggested since we can't tell if you made a recent hardware, software or driver change to your system--that's the quick and dirty way to revert your system back to an earlier state before the BSOD problem began. Good luck. Peace! |
dhtml:With all due respect mod but isn't BSOD synonymous to Windows? Any Mac or Linux users in the house that can verify BSOD on either one? ![]() |
SirJohn:Or fear sef? It's quite obvious with these kinds of statements the dude in trying to instill fear in his congregation as well brainwash them. Who no go fear wetin "man of God" quote from the bible. And that's where some of the problem comes from-- people not taking the time to read the gospel (though, I have tons of questions about it but that's for a different thread) and try for once to think for themselves. What kills me at times is the fact that some even obvious things that goes on in most of these televangelists places of worship, most of their followers still choose to ignore them and still believe every words that comes out of their mouths. Anyway sha, olorun lo mo eni ti o n sin (na only baba God know who dey truly worship am). Peace! |
SeanT21:Yes, I've heard "OF" both Ellen and Hilary. No one is being a sexist here but rather responding to the manner in which the poster introduced the topic. Did you even read her opening remarks? Well, if you did you'll see why a lot of people are not really taking the topic very seriously. IMO, she's the one that came across as a feminist rather than a realist. And for your info my dear, Hilary was pretty much given that Secretary of State position by Obama to get on the good side of the Clintons (you'll know if you've been following U.S. politics). Let's just put it this way, you don't phuck with the Clintons else they'll phuck you up BIG TIME! Have a gr8 day! Peace! |
akinrogba:ROFLMYO! Dewd, u got my eyes watering with laughter here o! You mean o but then again it's funny. . . lol! ![]() |
Raymond88:Oh I see. So, just because you don't believe in it makes you sensible abi? Words are powerful o especially when they're not properly thought through. Think about that for a second. Peace! |
@ Gamine, the use of juju doesn't equate to wickedness, which is the general misconception about juju. It's how you use the juju that determines the outcome. And if you put a deadly poison inside someone's food that doesn't make it juju o. Like I stated earlier, the use of juju in my opinion was never intended for evil deeds (at least from past history) only wicked, selfish, probably greedy folks misuse it for their own advantage. Back in the days, juju was used for good deeds especially for making a community prosperous and maintain peace and stability there. These days, it's a different story that has now given juju a bad rap. Again, I won't suggest relying on juju to try to secure a job without preparing or doing your own homework about the company before attending the interview. Besides, juju like everything else I'm sure helps those who help themselves. ![]() |
Becomrrich:Actually bros, I don't. You're going to have to break it down to me in a language I go fit understand because all I've just read sound like blah, blah, blah to me. Abeg, "Engrish" no be by force my broda--you get what I am saying. ![]() |
Gamine:Hmm, ya point being? ![]() |
RichyBlacK:You are right to an extent but let me also inform you that "REAL" juju dey for that naija o! Though kwe kwe (fraudulent) juju people don overshadow the real people wey get and till today still dey practice juju well well. As a result, not too many people believe in the existence of juju, hence it's mostly considered a myth. The sad part of the whole thing is that most of these people use juju for mainly evil and selfish acts, which I don't think was the main intent of the juju founding fathers. Though I won't advice anyone to follow the poster's friend's route cause to me you're only going to shoot yourself in the foot in the long run if you use juju to secure a job you're probabaly not qualified for in the first place. Just my $0.02. Peace! minute: Haba Alhaja! Ki lo de now? The guy never implied say hin wan try go hin bobo route now. And from all indication, the guy just wan satisfy hin curiosity ni--hence the question. Ya last remark was really uncalled for o. Wetin! |
chukxy44:@ poster and chukxy44 above, last time I checked Naija got her indepence in October 1960 o! And going by isiro (Mathematics) Naija never even 49 yet how much more 50. Una own come pass me o! And as for the poster, the quote below sums up the same thought I had when I read your opening remarks. MrCrackles:GBAM! Abi o! |
@ poster, Rules? What traffic rules? Are we talking about the same naija sha? |
@ agaba, ol' boy, I dey o. Man no die, man no rotten now. Wetin dey flow for ya end dia bros? At any rate, from what I gathered from my sisters, the movie was very funny. Maybe there was not really a story line to it in the first place but rather to entertain the viewers. Sha, I just say make I holla at u as e be say e don tey wey man don enter NL sef. Take am easy man mi. Peace! |
And this is news-worthy? If the guy wan naturalize become britico, which one concern una for dia sef. If hin like sef make hin apply for Iraqi citizenship, na free world and e no concern una. Who gives a rat yansh weda hin wan naturalize or not? Na wa for una for NL sef wey don dey yab the guy like say una get personal beef with am sef. O ga o! |
@ agaba123, how now agaba? long time, u dey hibernate for nairaland? i wish i could comment on the movie but i haven't seen the whole thing and yes i do remember seeing a preview of it and those girls with big bele--lol! i still know the code for ya email addy o--ekun fun ra ra e. have a good one. Peace! |
bishoptboy:Amen to that! Not only is it senseless, it's so freaging annoying! Where they get some of these artists from sometimes beats me. I know I can't sing but shoot at least I can pronounce the words properly---the other day I heard this one dude singing the soundtrack of the movie (can't remember the title again) I was watching and he just kept repeating the word "mush" (that's much) over and over again. I mean come on now, don't the producers even listen to the soundtrack before allowing it to be played in the movie? What's more, the guy sounded so awful I couldn't watch the rest of the movie. As for the movie Jenifa, I haven't seen it in it's entirety but watching the beginning was kind of funny though. And since I haven't seen the entire movie, I can't really comment on it. Just thought I'd chip in my $0.02 about your comment, which I completely agree with. Peace! |
kokori2:Man, I thought i was the only one looking for where the penalty come from o. Funny enough, I had a feeling he was gonna miss it as much as I want naija to win, no be with ajoro o! |
make dem just dey come home! Can't score a penalty! |
