Nna, did u read the computer rules? I suggest you do so o before you get ya yansh |
Ok, I no get dis one o! Why u no just go Opera website and download the thing FOC rather than looking for somebody to email it to you. The time wey u go spend creating this post and waiting for someone to respond to your email with the file, u go don visit the site, download and install the thing by now. Ya own come pass me o! |
@ poster, total video converter is good except if you're willing to dish out some dough for it. IMO, the easiest and quickest way to convert an flv file extension is to install Downloadhelper (a Firefox extension) and you're home free. Hint, you can even Peace! |
Dude, you must have downloaded the trial version of the Pro edition. You need to download and install the home edition if it's going to be for personal use. And do remember to uninstall the current version you have on your machine now before installing the home edition. Peace! |
@ poster, MS vouchers for what? You want to be more specific maybe? |
@ poster, Ludaloolo made an important there. . . it's not so cut and dry as you might think. If I were you, here's what I'll do: 1. Go to the laptop's manufacturer's website and download all Win XP compatible drivers first on a removable drive i.e. flash drive or on a disc 2. Use belarc advisor, a PC configuration audit tool that provides you info about all the SW/HW on your system. 3. Check online PC forums for any known HW issue for you laptop model when downgrading to XP 4. If number 3 above clears you, just do a clean install with a bootable Win XP disc and after OS installation, install your device drivers that should have downloaded from your laptop's manufacturer's site. Good luck and hope this helps. Peace! |
@poster, DON'T REFORMAT yet! Can you provide more details? For instance, how long has this been going on and what were you doing before this happened? Also, did you recently install a SW or HW? Lastly, could you be specific as to how far the PC boots when you tried starting windows as normal i.e. did you get any stop error (maybe with a blue screen of death?) or does it loop back to the booting process? Oh, while you're there, you can try the "Last good known configuration" option (doubt that will help at this point but it's worth trying first). Post back your findings. Peace! |
lwise:ROFLMAO! tayoccu:https://www.nearlygood.com/smilies/stupid.gif And na for NL u think say u go fit get dat one abi u no read the forum rules? ![]() |
j-girl:Ok now Jesse Jackson! Na h2o plenty 4 ya eyes so? ![]() |
Na wetin that useless so-called rev Jesse (the race monger) Jackson come dey shed opolo tears for? It's kind of funny that this was the same person talking about cutting B-HO's nuts a while back (hisses). Agbaya alabosi eyan! |
omoge:Lol! You just dey know? Na just wayo to take sway voters in favor of who dem want make e win. |
Oh my bad, I was looking at South Carolina! |
plus_Queen:It is? How so? |
plus_Queen:hmmm, you do realize McCain currently has 13 electoral votes to Obama's 3 and has taken the lead in the popular votes as well. Very interesting so far and might end up being dramatic too. |
zPixel:You do realize that he's equally as white as he's black, which is the more reason he would win. He's been selected and groomed for this day. Why do you think he's been assigned (the only and first one for that matter) secret service agents since May 2007? Abi you think say na oju lasan? |
MrCrackles:they've both already won respective states. |
GsUp Posts: 25 « #102 on: November 01, 2008, 02:53:29 AM » WAKE UP PEOPLE! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obama is no different to any of the evil, White presidents before him. Why are black people so gullible? He is a relative of both Vice President Cheney (one of the most corrupt politicians on earth let alone America - remember the Halliburton scandals?), George Bush (33rd Degree Freemason) (need I say more?) and the Queen. See links below and also do your own research dummies. The white elite do no forget their blood even if Obama is a bastard child of theirs. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/10/17/all-in-the-family-cheney-and-obama-related/ http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20080326/obama_clinton_080326/20080326?hub=Health Obama has only gotten this far because he is a blood relative of the ruling elite. His loyalty will be to them and not you. Just because he has the same skin colour as us doesn't mean he has the interests of Africans or African Americans at heart. The Elite will only accept a black President if he follows the same neo-colonialist, White Supremacist program that America has been imposing on the world for years. The only difference is that Obama will do his evil deeds with a smile. =========================================================================================================================================== Dude, I want to commend you for bringing this out in the open, which I know most of my naija kinfolks (that happen to be die-hard Obama supporters) would not believe. Just like you, I feel sorry for our people (I mean us black folks) when I see how passionate they are about getting Obama elected in office and thinking he's gonna represent us, which is where everyone is dead WRONG! To elude your remarks above, Obama has been selected by Illuminati way before this. . . shhhhh! How do you think an unknown senator from Illinois was chosen to give the keynote address at DNC convention in 2004. Mind you, parties don't just put anyone up there to do that but that marked the beginning of Obama's candidacy for this year right here. Anyone who thinks that every U.S. president was ever elected (except for I believe Reagan) by the people into office needs to really wake up and smell the coffee. No, U.S. presidents are not really elected in the U.S. but selected based on blood-line. Yeah, you're dead right about Obama being related to Cheney, which obviously a lot of my naija kinfolks were not aware of until you mentioned it. I noticed you were even chastised for making a factual statement (e dey typical of our pipu). I'm not surprised anyway, considering the fact that such revelation will only keep the Obama die-hard supporters in denial. Obama is surely going to win (unless the Reps pull out the ace I've suspected they have up their sleeve all along) not because he's the most qualified or right person for the job but because he's sort of an experiment to see how the U.S. masses will respond to a person of "color" (though he's equally as white as he's black), which the media has brainwashed the American people into automtically considering a bi-racial person as black. Just like Gsup stated, he's gonna cater to the interest of the people that put him there in the first place, which is ILLUMINATI (I'm not going to elaborate on that, I'll leave that to you to research and form your opinion). Just so yall know (some probably do already), they run the global economy (well, almost except for Chavez's and Castro's) including our own naija sef. Yes, I said naija. Has anyone ever wondered why most of our top government officials be Lodge members? Again, I no go elaborate on that so as not to digress from the topic. Wetin me I just dey yarn be say make una try open una mind small and observe wetin dey go on globally and not believe everything the media dey feed una o! Peace! |

I wish i could be back with her in her arms but i guess it's over now. Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed ======================================================================================================= Nna, u sure say u understand the subject so? Dual Core:Hmm, what's what? Could u be a lil specific? If you're referring to the letters I posted, then . . . no be my mouth u go hia say tisha mama get with-craft. But seriously, I need some specificity unless you're trying to be sarcastic. Peace! |
@ poster, chances are your optical drive might have gone bad. However, before you conclude that, try to see if there's a firmware upgrade for your drive from the drive's manufacturer's site. Just out of curiosity, does it happen to a particular CD/DVD or just any media you insert in the drive? If the problem occurs when you're using a burned blank CD/DVD media, note the brand of the media and try another brand to see if the drive will recognize it. You said you've only had the notebook for 8 months, which means it should still be under manufacturer's warranty. I'll try to have them replace it rather than dishing out some dough to fix the problem. Good luck. Peace! |
agaba123 (m) UK Posts: 1824 « #31 on: September 22, 2008, 09:40:16 AM » off topic. abeg make una no vex a friend called me and asked me to buy a lappy for him. Not that h needs it but is now a fashion statement in naija. Everybody carries it around whether they are going to church or bible study. When they visit a friend, it is a sign that one has arrived. Is that true? Grin Grin ================================================================================================= ROFLMYO! agaba my guy, how u dey now? long time. omo, u dey craze o! i no go dey surprised o, no be naija we dey talk about? very soon, agbero and hin driver go dey take am do GPS sef. naija we hail thee! @ Ex-Inferis, you've made some very valid points in your posts and just like you I go for the specs based on my need and my pocket (as baba ijebu concern now ). unfortunately, our naija folks' mentality no go lai lai change no matter how much you try convince them, which is kind of sad. na brand names go kill us for naija (well, the ones wey dey buy into it anyway). what kills me is that most of these peeps don't wanna take the time to look around and compare specs/prices but are just fixated with brand names that in most cases cost a lot more than an unpopular brand. acer is giving yeye HP/Compaq, Sony (another over-priced piece of shit, excuse my french!), Toshiba a run for their money in the states, which of course our effizy lovers for naija are unaware of. anyway sha, make u leave dem make dem dey waste dem money o jare (swegbes) ![]() |
uspry1: W T F ? ================================================================================================ @ maleeq, nice method man! @poster, you can also try these methods if the one maleeq gave you doesn't work. i have them attached as a word doc. file, just rename their extensions from .doc to .vbs and run it just like maleeq stated. only use this as an alternative if for some reason the script maleeq gave u didn't work. good luck! Peace! |
onyekajosy:Lol! "engr." joe, all this for a flash drive? some people sef! wetin me i wan know be say, why make pesin go through all that repartitioning process when na memory card and adapter u go come recommend at the end of the day. i just dey curious o. rubenic:my guy, have you tried using the flash drive in another USB port on the same machine or on another machine? If you've done that and still having the problem, try to connect another USB device i.e. a printer to the same port and see if windows recognizes it. for all u know u might be looking at a bad USB port o. i'll try all this before i discard the flash drive (notice i said discard). yes, it'll be pointless trying to fix it cause just like thomp4pal said, u could be looking at a corrupt or damaged internal memory for the flash drive. best bet, make u just kuku buy another one. good luck. Peace! |
prince_onx:Lol! abi ke, na so so rambling the rest dey do o jare. half of wetin peeps dey talk sef na repetition . . . u no know say na everybody be guru for NL? ![]() |
