Bennet642k2: Anyway the doc I submitted were: the study permit forms, family info, wace results, first degree result, NYSC discharge cert, SOP, letter from sponsor, affidavits of sponsor, SOA from sponsor, offer letter for admission, full tuition payments receipts, data page of international passport from sponsor, my data page inter passport. I studied engineering as my first degree and intend to study for post graduate on international business management. I don't knw wat else they need. * Length of proposed stay in Canada - this reason I don't understand too much, mostly comes with the next reason, this is something that a great SOP can tackle. * Purpose of visit - This is actually where the problem lies, you're a fresh graduate, you studied Engineering in your UG level, the sudden deviation to international business is a NO NO for the Vo, if you don't have solid reasons in your SOP for the deviation or work experience in that line. You really have to work on this and I'll be sincere with you, I really have no idea how you'll do that has you're a fresh grad with no work experience.. But there's nothing a great SOP cannot do. * your current employment situation - when did you complete your NYSC and what are you doing currently? They don't like idle people. * your personal assets and financial status - well, since you have no source of income, you def have no funds to show, this also comes with the reason above. * your travel History - this isn't a really serious reason sha, if you've not overstayed in any country. I really hope other people will also help out in filling the loop holes. |

cherie24: Thanks again Siga.. I will keep tracking them till application opens. You are correct about the certification. thanks for the reminder. These are Major HR IT software applications (HRIS) which are used daily in world class orgs. I am very familiar with oracle (Taleo) and also Talent Pro. we use them currently though i am not yet certified. I will endeavour to get the certification. Also, another VERY importatnt HR designation in Canada is CHRP... @tnuola...its a designation though different from the HRIS certifications. Thanks, pls let me know anyone you can hook a sister up with, I'm serving presently, will look certifications up when im done in july |

Siga: ... Hot cake ones be SAP HR, PeopleSoft, Sage, Hewitt or Oracle .... Those are the major or let me say most common ERPs major companies use that have the HR modules... if u get one or two... U are portable... Employers using most of these things look for solutions and want someone who knows what to do RIGHT NOW once hired to help fix what they find as headache... Thanks a lot, will work on it before I apply. |

Siga: ... Apply the very first week it opens... been bilingual ain't a requirement for the program but a MAJOR plus when it comes to work and PR ... Also, all y'all going for this HR program need to know if u do not have a certification in most major ERPs u are in for a tough ride... e.g Oracle, SAP and the likes... thats what will put u above others... ain't about dem degrees or masters alone... be wise .. What certification(s) would you suggest for HR? |

Headlamp1: cc team12, tnuola etc
What are the chances of one who is a graduae of elect elect engin, been working in an IT company for 2yrs and want to go for pgd in robotics and automation (Co-op).
What strong home tie can such use to convince the VO? Most especially as it is a co-op program? Co-op is more like Industrial attachment, it allows you have more insight on the course you studied. You should also write a convincing SOP on why you want to study robotics and automation. How robotics automation software is the future of IT, how its related to what you do at the moment and its relevance to your place of work and to your home country etc. A good home tie is a study leave letter from your place of working, a letter of intro from them will also make sense, would be nice if they highlight what relevance your studying the program will be to the company. |

modash: So if I get the money and lodge in my account, it raises a red flag? Yes it does, if you can't show how you came about the lump sum |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by tnuola(f): 9:48pm On May 01, 2015 |
modash: Well I ask because the account has flow(my salary acct) but the money isn't enough to cover tuition and living expense So all I want to find out is if I lodge say 5 million in the acct before printing my SOA is it fine Or does the money to cover my sch fees be present for a particular time frame. Thanks guys Lodging is not really a good idea except the money has a source, and a proof for it like something from your sponsor, or proceeds from a sale ... Are you sponsoring yourself? |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by tnuola(f): 9:31pm On May 01, 2015 |
modash: So If I put the month in my account for the one month(the last month) And print my SOA, is that ok? Because I know for uk student visa the money needs to be fixed in your acct for 28days When it comes to canada visa application, its not about just having, dumping or fixing money in your account, they want to see transactions, inflow and outflow of cash, in the account. The minimum number of months to be printed out in the statement of account is 4months. |

NaD720: Brov, What proof are you talking about? You know these cyber cafe companies doesn't issue employment offer/pay slibs when there employee are not up to 20 individual. What other proof do you think I can get from them? Most of the people I know way back then aint there no more and the company has reduced to almost 2 employee. So there is nothing much those two new people could do. But I am still thinking of what to do. More advice from peeps is appreciated. Since you used to work with them, go there ask for a recomendation letter stating that u worked for them from so so date to whenever. |
