Yes to both. but have a solid ans prepared for VO at POE where u will be issued your Study permit.
You don't need to provide solid answers to anything.. You can enter canada as soon as you get your TRV dsnt matter whether ure resuming soon or not as long as you can take care of your living expenses. What I'm not sure of is if one can work straight up before school resumes

Thanks a lot. What documents do you suggest i should get in order to prove my relationship with him.
Since he's your uncle from your maternal side , you can show ur mum's birth certificate, with her maiden name, that's if her maiden name and his surname are same.
If not, you'll both just have to state it that he's ur uncle ie. In his sponsorship letter, affidavit of sponsorship and you in your sop

Thanks. I spoke to my uncle and he said it might be a problem to use his account cos I've never had any transaction with his account before. Though he's not sure but we are trying to find out every necessary details so that the application is not refused as there's little time for re-applying and I really pray to do the course this year
You don't need to have any transaction history with his account for him to be your sponsor.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by tnuola(f): 3:28am On Apr 15, 2015
@dbabba
You don't need to lodge money anywhere, your uncle can simply be your sponsor or cosponsor.

tnuola you of all pple knw that there is no such thing as a perfect application. You only have to do ur best and leave the rest. With ur wealth of experience, ur best + prayers should be enough. God bless ur hustle!
I know right. But I just need to get it right jare.. My first delay dint hurt or anything, but I'm not sure I'll be able to handle a second.. Hence the confusion

the VO doesnt expect you to get into school the next month you finish school. buh would put the letter buh i dnt collect payslips...
The whole idea of listing your docs is to cover loop holes.. That employment letter might be the missing piece of the puzzle.
It won't hurt to add it.

hayqinsbFX:
the thing is i think my trv is not really tied to the fact of having an employment history as i only just graduated officially october 2014
na just additional document i intend to use it for...
you mean i should start making payslips now? omo na long thing...any mistake while doing that would be worse than not submitting any atall..
i intend to use my personal SOA to cater for that.
October 2014 to april 2015 is long o, about 6months, forget being tied to employment or not. The whole idea is to cover possible loop holes.
Your app looks really great, wouldn't be bad to add the employment letter as Yregs suggested.

@tnuola, how far nau? Wen are u submitting. We r going together o
We will def go together. Putting a perfect app together is giving me so much headache. Attimes I think I got it other times I'm so confused. Ko easy

Na why i put study leave o..and my dad stated it in his sponsorship letter that I've bn working with him.
Dont wanna go too formal back dating employment letters.

That's why I'm submitting my personal soa..it shows monthly salary payment..
Thanks..
Be as formal as u can be, if u really work for your dad, ask for an employment letter or letter of introduction stating when u were u employed and all.
The letter of intro can stand in place of the employment letter if u don't want to do the back dating of d employment letter

He said any of these is fine

Applying differently but preferable same province but with co-sponsors.
Or apply and accompanying spouse but no cosponsors.
Ok then... Wish you all the best.

if both are going for studies and they can satisfy the VO on all fronts, finances, study leave letter, etc, i see no reason why both cannot get the visa really. Its all about satisfying the VO based on hard evidence not emotions.imagine if they have like 10m, paid tuition, both working, have properties, gotten study leave, why will they not be given?i think they have a great chance!
Truth be told it would be difficult to convince the vo sha, except they apply at very different times, even 10m won't be enough for both of dem to show and it seems they're not going to be together, diff provinces I think, and they're expected not to really work and all. Its better the husband goes first and invites the wife, or the wife applies immediately after the husband has gotten his trv. My opinion tho smiley

Na CAC I dey talk about ma...tax is also a necessity tho..
Ok then.. But best believe, tax isn't, at least not yet.. It doesn't prove much, while CAC stands as a proof of where ur funds are from..

thing is he has about 600'K in his account. But the school won't allow him pay till he comes over to canada and see his course advisor. I am very much concerned cos I was the one who recommended the school to him. But one other thing is the fact that ticked """Family Accompanying him""" but he never mention that any of his family was coming along.
It all still boils down to finances, he should only present his SOA 600k or not, if he has proof of what he does, if its his salary acct he should pls use it. And also his sponsors acct should be well funded

The nigg@ has been a comedy I swear. He keeps shouting ""CHAI"" every 30 seconds or so. He actually used his Aunt and Uncle as sponsors. Uncle's Account had about 2.8 million, Aunt used her business account and stated that she co-owns the business with his bro. She also tendered 2 property documents. What I think is that the guy's about 24 Years Old. Maybe they want him to also show his own SOA as he is not expected to be idle all these while #IMO. But the guy just keeps making me laugh.
He should show his soa if he can, and pay tuiton if he hasn't, and have his sponsors beef up their accounts.

Nope. He just sent me the picture sef. Nigg@ ain't eating since yesterday. Lolz
LOL.. Just two reaasons and he won't eat?
All he needs to do is beef up his account and also pay tuition if he hasnt
