Christianity is prone to change compared to islam . Those without religion change fastest, before christians kneel to pray they "evolved" to standing while praying and then sitting while praying .today you can pray while sleeping.""God understands" muslims since the begining sit on a mat and bow their head while praying Muslim still bow while praying muslims dont change easily |
It is Better never than toomuch better not to be invollved in religion than to be over religious extrimist. Be involved in humanitarian goodwill,it is more christlike than . occuppying ones mind with some religion practices. However, faith alone cant save. Works alone cant save. But works surpases faith |
[quote author=Ajibam]am not among any abrahamic religion believe me,without religion there will still be terrorism. CHRISTIANITY offers you everlasting peace if you persevere till the end. challenges will always come your way, religion causes chaos because of the non-united religion in the world, christianity dont bring peace.Jesus said " i have come for war, father against son" |
Many Christians are afraid of God. They obey God, and even say they believe Him, because they are afraid of His "punishment." They are afraid He will punish them by bringing bad things into their life, or by taking things away from them. So they live "good" lives to avoid this "punishment." Despite the fact that being afraid of God is never the right motive for obeying Him, Christian teaching has always served to cement this error into the minds of most people. "Obey God or go to hell for all eternity," has always been preached, one way or another. It is so much a part of our religious mentality that to suggest another motivation for obeying God sounds as if you are removing all incentive for obedience. Afterall, who obeys God simply out of love for Him? Sadly, very few of us. How about u-- are you afraid of God himself? Or do you consider him more someone you can really open up to and be honest with? |

When you put a reasonable Atheist and Christian in the same room, and bring up religion in any form, it seems that an argument is inevitable. From all of my experiences, I feel that the problem is actually two-fold. One, the Atheist has no idea what is actually in the Christians heart. Secondly, the Christian does not know how to properly approach the subject of eternal salvation. As to the first theory, the Atheist often sees the Christian as an enemy naturally. Here is this person that intends to try to convert them to a religion they want no part of. Even if the Atheist does not view the Christian as an enemy, they still may view them with trepidation due to the general viewpoint of Christianity that the Atheist may have. This is the root of the problem, and here is why. True Christians have noble intentions in their hearts. If a Christian knows that someone is not walking with Jesus Christ, then it is their duty to tell them the good news. If you question this theory, then let me give you an example that might bring it clear. If you saw someone parked on the railroad tracks, and saw a train coming, would you not warn the person on the tracks? Atheist and Christian alike would do what they could to try to save them. What if you had a family member that was going to hurt themselves? You would have an intervention, and try to help them out of concern for their well being. To a Christian, testifying and inviting others into the warmth of Christianity is no different than seeing someone on the tracks about to be smashed into pieces. Of course they cannot help themselves but to try to help. This brings me to problem number two. Christians sometimes forget that there is free will. I would never tell a Christian not to spread the word. I may as well ask them not to breathe. I also would never tell an Atheist that they must be a Theist. There is a distinct difference between telling of Jesus Christ, and judging someone in their personal walk with God. Christians must remember that giving them the news is the key. Helping them when they ask for it is also good. Spreading hellfire and damnation to an Atheist ear is like inviting a cat to party full of dogs. They will not feel welcomed Next time you decide to argue the point over Christianity and Atheism, try to remember what is really on the other side's mind. It might lead you to a new place in your life. We can all learn from one another, and being able to rationally discuss a subject so important is vita source |

But come to think of it, gay chatbox should be in the religous section. There is nothing religous about it. It should be in romance section |
Reyginus: Frankly speaking, this will yield nothing. It is not possible.with God all things are possible |
ONLY DUMMIES AND FOOLS BELIVE IN GOD reading the bible doesnt make one a saint the same way not beliving in God doesnt make one wise. But just mention God online and you'll be mocked as a mental deficient awaiting the second coming of the "flying spaghetti monster." But there is a difference between questioning the stupidity of dogmatic, close-minded zealots perpetrating institutional abuses and simply mocking sincerely held religious beliefs by equating faith with stupidity. It's sort of the difference between giving a formal presentation about the inherent flaws of your company's policies and procedures, and just farting in your boss's office atheist were once theist ,and did not suddenly become smart the moment they belive in God. Being curious varies from being smart. There are smart theist scientist who are curious to use science in knowing God. The conviction that nothing could be more smart than a mind with the ability to deny the existence of anything more divine is false |
GOD IS IMMAGINARY man created God.God is a fairytale. God is an idea.however you put it, it isn't funny at all. Why some theist might immediately react by giving you a slap, others may force a smile.but one basic fact is " it is annoying" no one likes it when his serious belief is being mocked. Imagine living every second of your life worshipping an adoring God only for a ........., to tell you he is a fairly tale or flying spagheti. If you dont belive in him, fine , but mocking him to my face is crossing the line. |
For peace and tolerance, atheist should stop saying these words |

aManFromMars: So you agree that any human institution, no matter how noble it's purpose, could and will be abused?yes, even atheism can be abused |
You err siree, the bible isnt always interpreted literally. At times words symbolising earthly meaning are used to describe heavenly action. E.g when the bible saig God walked, .....walking is a physical atribute ...the walker must have legs......God is spirit, has no leg, so he didnt walk...he only moved...... |
