I applied for psychology and have been to UNN where I was told by some staff friends that d cut off is 180 (PUME not average) and as such I can't gain entry. What do u guys think? yes admission is only for those that made up to 180 in the putme before thier various departmental cut off marks! Sorry, You do not also have to go for adverts as u would not be considered.anybody who offers to help you will not be there for you when admission office is gonna fish you out in your third year!

1. After preparing psychologically and financially to sit for exam unn canceled it.
2. As a 300level student in Lagos, I took time off my second semester to prepare and money from my allowance to embark on the trip to Nsukka only for unn to cancel @ the end. And I did my first choice pume after unn's cancelation. So, after psychologically preparing 4 3 exams (my school exam inclusive), I should skip my lectures and stop reading my priorities 4 pume when my exams re close?
3. I was shocked that I scored 3 over 10 in commerce, even if i didn't prepare 4 it I know I'm good @ it and thats where d mark was later changed to 4 and i'm expecting more adjustment though, I've taken my mind off unn.
I can go on but, no need. Unn is/was my second choice. I know who I'm and what I want. Unn will only end up killing me if I choose to be there cos a school that doesn't allow student unionism, can't produce citizens or leaders but, zombies. U need to see where students bath @ Njoku hostel, u will know d school's management has no plan to produce dignified humans. Most importantly a school that ve not been able to develop it's surrounding after 50years of existance or liberate d region its located from infrastructural, political and economic poverty can't help me.

I've visited other varsity's hostel and i must confess that of unn is not soo bad.lastly, am suprised by you saying you dint see much infrastructures outside unn as it is only poeple from the vilages that normaly complain about this ( cuz they come to unn with this feeling of going to abuja-like or lagos-like city). many poeple love unn the way it is especially those of us who have experienced city life. unn is calm . cold . simple . cheap feeding. friendly Nsukka people. variety of good Nsukka foods OKPA!! lol.we prefer it like that. it is not like those shouty. high sounding generator. overcrowded place. so it depends on what suits you !! other reason is not worth sharing with you sha!!

it depends on the country...i will only speak of where i presently reside which is the united states........believe me our youths are perishing at back home...when i remember most of my friends who are back in nigeria i weep for them.........believe it or not america is a wonderland..........you will only need to experience it to understand.......the only thing that can delay ur success in the states is if u do not have the permission to work..........other than that you are good to go.........over %70 of nigerian doctors, pharmacist, bankers, lawyers, lectures, who vist america hadly would want to return back to nigeria except those above 50yrs.........

while i agree with you that you do not plug money on the street in america.....however ur willingness to work harder often pays off.......

i have friends in more than 8 countries of the world..........but in my conclusion i would advice youths who want to travel out to go these countries,.......belgium, canada, USA, australia and the bahamas island................

if you can obtain a dutch language training for 6 months and can be able understand, hear and write dutch, and you have a sister or brother who is legally resident in the united states......you can travel to belgium and study.......the school feels is cheap and immigration system is ok......

the best way to travel and have ur legal resident in any part of the world is if you study nursing in nigeria b4 leaving the country..............whether u are indian, african or asian....ur opportunity is simply boundless................

FXKing2012: Candidly, I never knew u were this shallow. Fulanis have always had problems wt their hosts and have always been attacking them. The reason the incidence in Plateau generated so much fuss is becos of the magnitude of it. Fulanis raid farms with their cattle in Ibadan, oyo town, iseyin and many other towns, and if u challenge them they attack you. We've had farmers whose hands were cut off or even killed by these fulanis. Even my own farm has been raided severally by these fulanis, so pls keep shut when u have no facts.
Becos u are a fulani boy does not mean u shldnt be a little reasonable - or at least try or pretend to be even if incapable of it.

I am not saying Nigerian schools are bad but if you want to go outside, there is a school in Bénin Republic that is affiliated to a university in London and they deliver UK certificate.
