Shimran:
As stated above, some of us create avenue for these exploitation.

Take bold step, don't go, confront the school management should they query your absences. But mind you, action has consequences.
They won't even query you if they know your worth because they won't wanna trigger you into making a decision to leave. I can tell you for free that private schools' owners are suffering and smiling..........most schools lack teachers in terms of quality and figures.

Workers play a part in workplace exploitation too. It is why I don't pity them sometimes.

Think about it: you won't get a 10k per month salary if you didn't accept a 10k per month job.
In Nigeria, someone will get hired as a security guard, first day at work, he will be asked to wash cars and he'll do it without complaint. The day after, he will be told to trim flowers, soon he will be doing that for everyone there, thereby taking away job opportunities from car washers and gardeners. But when he complains about his boss being unfair, he will forget he is part of the problem too. He is the reason a gardener somewhere is jobless.

Nobody will use anybody if we all stick to what our job entails, but no, you wan prove say you dey hardworking pass Esau
You are absolutely right.

I'm a teacher in a private school and your post isn't far from true.
I got a call from the V.P last night( I actually removed myself from all the school's Whatsapp groups) and I didn't pick it because I knew what she was gonna say.
We go to work on most public holidays( even the mandatory one week mid term break that Lagos State gives) and this time around, I've decided to make a difference by calling their bluff.

I am very much online; just got tired of the trolling going on here. It appears some posters chose to feed the trolls and they overran the thread eventually .

I just got tired of the whole thing and gave my front. I still come here to learn one or two recipes dropped , but I'm done posting here .
I totally agree with you. This section used to be so serene with beautiful food pictures and Wonderful recipes but it has lost its glory.
I miss your posts.......
Especially your fresh fish recipes and picture quality.

Romance / Re: Can The Past Life Of A Lady Truly Be Overlooked ? by Toeyean1507(f): 4:29pm On Jan 26
Elzazzi:
I will try and make this brief and please ignore the errors.

I was with my close friend yesterday evening. While we were chilling together, a call came in on his phone. it was his cousin that called telling what had happened and also seeking his advice. Now this is what happened, this his cousin has been dating this lady for about a year I think and he has already proposed to her and even took her to his parents and siblings. He also visited the lady family and did some introduction. Now April this year has been chosen for the wedding ceremony proper and a date has been fixed. This is where trouble started.

My friend cousin created a WhatsApp group for his wedding ceremony, he added all his friends and some of his classmates to this group so they can join hands and make his wedding day memorable. He posted his wedding IV to the group and some pictures of him and the lady, one of his old time classmate recognized her and immediately called him for a private meeting for urgent discussions.

He visited him the next day and this guy told him everything about his fiancée. How she used to be a stripper in Lagos clubs years back and how he and his friends had wild 3some with her. She used to base in Lagos as a call girl but relocated to Abuja and that’s where she met my friend cousin. After all these revelation this guy was in deep pain as he had already gone far with the weeding preparations. Of course his old time classmate advised him not to marry her, but this guy loves her so much and he is in a big dilemma of what to do next. As he thinking of leaving the country and go start life with her elsewhere.

Can such past truly be overlooked?

After my friend explained everything to me, I was just short of words but of course I advised he shouldn’t marry her. What advice would you give him in such a situation my fellow Nlanders ?
Kindly tell your ' friend cousin ' to see this movie "Dinner" on Netflix.
After this, he should make his decisions.
Health / Re: Menstrual Cramps Disturbing Me Badly. Please What Can I Use For It? by Toeyean1507(f): 7:57am On Jan 07
Jewessgratitud3:
I suffer severe menstrual cramps and it's really taking a tow on me. Like I no longer look forward to having my menses because of the pain and discomfort that comes with it.

The only thing that stops the cramps is felvin but it makes the flow three times heavier than normal to the point that I'll start feeling dizzy. The last one scared me cos after taking felvin, on the second day I was changing diaper every 5 mins. (Yes I use diaper cos pad no longer holds my flow. ) At a point I stood up and it's as if the whole blood in my system gushed out and I nearly passed out. So I said I wasn't going to use felvin again.

Now, I didn't use felvin this time and the flow is normal but I've been crying from pain since yesterday. It's like labor pain and im tempted to take felvin but when I remember what happened the last time, I'll ditch the idea.

Please what can I use to stop the pain that will not increase the flow? Please help with remedies that work.
Incorporate "ewedu" in your meals
Take more of it few days before and during the time of the period.

Mama had us 4 girls and none has ever experienced cramps nor heavy flow.

technically yes!!!
there is one of 20k. its called sunking home 600 solar. you pay 20k they give u the unit. it contains a 60w solar panel a controller 5 bulbs and one standing fan that can run 14hrs in the nite. yes it has 2 usb slots for charging phone. it actually cost 194k but you pay 20k as deposit and pay 2,900 weekly. u pay weekly until u complete paying 194k, they give u a token u load d token u get light for the specific days u pay for. i got one last week and am simpressed by its performace. it is only how to pump water and charge my laptop that is d issue i have now. am systematically saying bye bye to nepa
I'm glad we had the foresight to purchase this same sun king package last year for 83k by instalments. It sounded good to be true cos the total package was 66k outright payment but we decided to opt for instalments. The only downside is we don't really enjoy it during the rainy season........but in all, it's one of the best purchase we've ever made.

For me, my favourite part of the chicken is the wing.
Not just any wings, the orobo type of chicken wings that have enough skin.

It's the skin for me.........that crunchiness it gives anytime I chew it dey gimme plenty joy.

I remember during my adolescent years, my mum doesn't allow me into the kitchen anytime we cook chicken/turkey reason being that they are always skinless after I'm done cooking.
She beat me Taya for this thing bet I no gree stop o even till now.
