Lajo, offin around Igbogbo ma
It's quite far from my area.
A private sch in my area needs a science subjects teacher urgently, though the pay is little but I believe it'll be better than nothing.

This thread came at the right time..I think this thread is created because of me..Being broke is very bad I don't even have hope of eating today, tommorow even my siblings especially my youngest brother are crying of hunger .I am the first born so I am the one husling...but due to sickness and emotional problem I developed in the course of working in the site(labour),I can't make money to feed again..
You can go through my profile and see threads on malaria... I have been down..my last hope is GOD.. My parents don't care about our welfare..thank God I don't have a female sister....I have been embarrassed by many sellers and I am now even more ashame to buy on credit again...
I need means of income..I live in Lagos, Ikorodu..I know little music, programming,I am a guitarist, and I can teach sciences up to undergraduate level...
I know God will for me on earth is not to suffer..this are trying and difficult period for me..the burden is just beyond my capacity..
What part of ikorodu are you?

Family / Re: My 3 Years Old Son Cant Read Nor Write, Help Pls by Toeyean1507(f): 8:54pm On Oct 24, 2020
kenny1111:
Good afternoon everyone,

please I need advice from all parents and Educators and parents on Nairanland. today I just realized my 3years old son cant even read Letters A to F talk less of A to Z but can read Figure 1 to 10, I am seriously worried.

I don't stay at home except for weekends as I am working outside my state, but due to the curfew I find my way back home yesterday so I was able to discover this problem in the early hours of today.

I know the mother is trying cos I have seen different live videos where she was teaching him and working on his assignment, most times I pity the boy so much because of the beating from his mum alone makes me sick but I can't really complain since I know is for his own good and I know how stressful it is for a mother with 2 kids to manage her time and all that....

I called his teacher immediately and she told me my son will be going to Nursery class when the present term is over due to his age, sadly she didn't say things I expect to hear from her so I told her I will visit the school once the curfew is over, I need explanation, is private school that bad these days ? my son can't even write 2 and 3
I have bought Video CD, bought many play book materials containing letters and figures displayed boldly, I bought counting and so on when he was 2 years so i expect a better result by now.

pls sir and ma, I need help on how to guide this boy to learn better, what should I do and how should I go about it.

Note: any time I am home, I always go through his books, assignments and read his school rhymes for him.
pls Help
concerned Daddy

posted this on Other Educstion sections as well so as to have a wider views and opinions

thank u
Hello sir. Thanks for trying to be a good father.
My suggestion to you is that you and his mum should desist from flogging him and introduce pre writing skills(curves, dash, stroke and slants) to him.
You can employ a tutor who is very good at the Montessori method of teaching too.
I believe with time, he will improve.

It's Baba Risi for life. That man sacrificed a lot to see us through school as he was not opportuned to be educated. His friends, especially my mom's elder bro told him he was wasting money on training girls, he looked pass all those and sent us to school.
Today, he has 3 female graduates, 1 male graduate and 3 undergraduates.
He's my GOAT everyday, everytime and anywhere.

I've heard about them
they're genuine for now
I tried them out some months ago.
they used to pay 35% Monthly, but they just reduced their rates to 20% monthly. and also they're only trying to improve on their customer service, it's not very good, but they're improving gradually.

NB: investing with any investment company is a risk and never risk more than you can afford to lose.
Thanks boss.
All these aren't too far from the explanation I got from the person that introduced me to the scheme.
I just wanna confirm from my fam here before venturing into it.
Thanks once again, I appreciate!

I think there's a pattern to how we all recall figures, however, since it's your field, I think it's natural, i for one hate dealing with figures because sometimes I think i'm wrong when i'm actually right.
Hmmmmm.
Thank God it's natural o.
