bidexiii: OPERATION HADARIN DAJI AIR COMPONENT DESTROYS ARMED BANDITS’ LOGISTICS WAREHOUSE NEAR BIRNIN KOGO IN ZAMFARA STATE
1. In continuation of the renewed onslaught against armed bandits in parts of the North West and North Central States, the Air Component of Operation HADARIN DAJI has destroyed a bandits’ logistics warehouse approximately 5Km North of Birnin Kogo in Zamfara State. The air strikes were executed yesterday, 30 May 2020, sequel to Human Intelligence (HUMINT) reports, which were later confirmed by series of aerial surveillance missions, indicating that the large structure was being used by the bandits to store their ammunition, raw rations and other logistics items.
2. Accordingly, the Air Component dispatched a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) attack aircraft to engage the target scoring accurate hits on the warehouse, which went up in flames as a result of its volatile contents, leading to its complete destruction. Four armed bandits guarding the facility were also neutralized as a result of the attack.
3. The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, commends the Air Component of Operation HADARIN DAJI for their professionalism and directs them to remain resolute in the conduct of air strikes whilst continuing to provide close air support for ongoing ground operations in order to eradicate all armed bandits; thus achieving the directives of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) to restore normalcy in the North West and North Central Zones of the Country.

Oasis007:

How many Years have American Military being in Afghanistan? Iraq?! Do they lack military Gears? Kits?!
Let's call Spade a Spade pls. NA Leadership should stop enriching their Purses at the Expense of their Personnel. Well u can't compare the US and Nigeria Obviously... They gat the money and Good leaders And come to think of It Despite the "Kitting" and Stuffs 18yrs in Afghanistan and still....... Up to 14 Security operatives where killed in Afghanistan last week immediately after the ceasefire. Also remember the Hospital seige Now they want to negotiate with the Taliban Exchanging Prisoners... Yes we need the kits but if that's what u put your hope on Guy you'll die Look at the Chadians Those guys with Less kitting they are Very good |

Oasis007:

NA is better addressed as Federal Vigilante Group. I've seen many of their Clips on Twitter, to be honest nothing wow with their tactical Discipline and Kits.
At times, you do ask yourself if they are trained at all?! Compare them to NAF recently deploy to tackle Bandits, then you would wonder what's wrong with NA Leadership.
NAF Kits alone would scare off those malnourished Twerps. I wish NAF and SBS can be deployed to replace NA completely in the ongoing Battles, it won't take long to wipe out those bunch of Twits.
Note: last 2 Pics (SBS). Guy I get your point but your pics doesn't prove it. These are special forces u posted they are small unit so I'll say it's kinda easier to maintain their kitting unlike a whole infantry of 3000 soilders or more deployed to the Desert / forest for years dude it's never going to be easy providing them kits regularly but it's possible. So I blame the Top greedy officers I'm in Delta State I've seen troops of Op Delta Safe And the way you describe them isn't the way they look. They are infantry soilders of 3 battalion warri And they got every kit including knee pads and Gloves |

komekn: Senegal is on the periphery but has been very very proactive in prevention as opposed to reactive.
Uganda has been fighting a number of insurgent activities e.g. Lord's Resistance Movement, etc
Kenya has been engaged with Al Shabab both at home and in Somalia. that's why in terms of kitting I'll give Kenyans a Thumbs up |

kabe1: What sort of rubbish are you writing.
Who told you all the Navy and Air Force guys in the field are special forces?
NAF Regiment is not a special forces unit, it is the ground combat unit of the Air Force. It is the Panthers that are commandos, the red berets.
NAF Regiment is modeled after RAF Regiment.
You do yourself some good by researching properly before making comments. still dey don't stay long in the front line.. What about the SBS why didn't u pick dat one out of my Comment Or are they Just Seamen or whatever Naval infantry Guy u go do research u supposed know NAF and NN guys in the Front line aren't ordinary Guys |

kabe1: You're talking crap, brother.
How can this many Nigerian soldiers on operation be looking like this?
Do you think this is what professional soldiers dress like? Guy read before u quote are u telling me that they deployed these guys with polo and kaki to fight. On a norm You'll have Your Vest, Helmet and Boots na. Obviously they'll need replacement and dats what I don't know if the army does dat for dem |

kabe1: Nigerian army needs to do better abeg.
You take care of your soldiers and they would have no excuse not to deliver.
Look at Airforce and Navy guys in the field, always looking like very professional soldiers.
Army guys look like rebels, unprofessional and untrained rebels. those guys are special forces they don't stay long in the front line what do u expect.. Haven't u seen NA special forces too |

kabe1: Can you prove this?
Provide evidence.
Where is the evidence the Nigerian army properly kits her personnel.
You can provide boots once, then that's it.
Bullet proof is now becoming nonexistent for front line soldiers.
Like I told you in the other thread, always back your comments with facts, in other to avoid mockery. if you're talking about providing them regularly well I can't tell.. But been deployed you'll have ur vest and boots dazzoll |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by Toju200(m): 12:24pm On May 30, 2020 |
kabe1: There are so many things the army is not providing for front line troops. Appropriate uniforms, bulletproof vests, combat boots so many, many basic things.
You see a Navy guy in the field, you see an Air Force personnel, and you wonder if army guys are from Chad. I think they do provide them with Boots and Ballistic vests Some doesn't just wear them.. How will you be deployed with just Your AK dats all!?? Na |

kabe1: Nigeria is getting 3 JF-17s, we would possibly buy more, but confirmed units is 3.
Alpha Jets might not be retired so soon as some units are currently undergoing avionics upgrade, same thing for the L-39ZA. They are also getting avionics upgrade.
Cockpit of a Nigerian Air Force Alpha Jet. the platform that's going to be first replaced will be the Alpha jet not too soon but soon While the AeroL39 albatross is going to remain for some time as a trainer. As for the F7ni I can't remember what was said about it. I don't know why NAF took the 10 year strategic plan off the net can't find em anywhere |

Note the additional side amours by the cockpit. it's on all Super tucano I'VE seen... Don't think if it's any sort of add-on armor |

10 units from France. it's time we start production of our own RHIB. Members of Reps that visited the NDL charged engineers to produce it such as long as Nautical Africa SA can produce |
