An eye witness here on nairaland was the first to report it. He said a group of the protesters clashed with some Hausa guys and that was when the police had to start shooting as everywhere became chaotic so the story is true but very poor of them to use wrong pictures.

Tell the full story . Apparently 2 groups of protesters passed by peacefully but a third and uncoordinated group came and somehow got into a fight with Hausa guys and the soilders had to disperse them all

Do you know what he did? They have been disturbing other citizens and some of them using the protest to loot or be violent. It's the soilders duty to protect the citizens. If those protesters injured innocent passerby you'll be ones asking what the security forces were looking at
