The problem about this kind of people is that at the end of the day, you discovered that they are unable to transfer their professional dexterity to governmental administration. |
The best thing for democracy is to allow any innovations, health treatment to be chosen by one's preference which is base on belief and mentality. US seems to have being breeding a loath for catholicism since the arrival of english to the new world. Before John Fitzgerald Kennedy could win the election in 1960 as the first and only catholic then, he had to undergo additional stress of convincing them of his faith. See no reasons why catholics will be comparing the the USA administration with Russian administration cos of the rivalry which hasn't finally ended. |
I don't think there is any reason to count chime Sulivan among those governors that shunned the meeting because his absence is understandable which is base on his health and also away from nigeria. How does one expect GEJ to perform when everything that concerns him is 2015 and nothing else. |
I pray it isn't Alzheimer disease o! Don't want Nelson Mandela to be the South African version of American Ronald Reagan. |
What about the case of mosquito species, vectors for plasmodium spp that cause malaria where one needs attacking the messenger i.e mosquito so that the message i.e malaria from the plasmodium spp are not manifested at the end of the day? |
coogar: i would put your brain power slightly below that of a culex mosquito!semi-illiterate indeed! |
Nice, Mr Raji Babatunde Fashola! Things that are supposed to have been done before now, but trying to be adamant with the state government telling us they are losing billions daily as if they are engaged in world bank transaction. Every game has its rule one must abide in. Just play by the rule and you won't be caught foul. |
ngozievergreen: Forget that thingin my nursery 1, my teacher taught us a poem: i know! I know!! The little i know, I WILL NEVER FORGET ngozievergreen: Drug barons pass for 'evil genius' group better dan a president that destabilises his country. Osama genius is even better.had you read many things about IBB, you would know that he is an evil genius. ngozievergreen: IBB no get any type of ingenuity whether good or evil for my mind, i dont know for yoursngozi! You said for your mind? Guess you need creating a space for me in your mind to dwell forever so that i will continue and always say what is in your mind. Seems you want me to be saying what is in your mind. |
le ostrich: Genius indeed! Only in ngozievergreen: Thank u very much. I like dis response. Only in Nigeria indeed is IBB, OBJ, Abacha are considered geniuses. D likes of Innoson, the various novelists, etc are ordinary people. *smh*why you no go like am? So non of you can understand what evil genius is? |
What a genius, though evil that decided not trusting anyone even his close friend after he realised he could betray him. Not like another general that decided to make his enemies his aids. |
Not really but will slightly reduce. Seems the OP has forgotten that this is nigeria where everything can be manipulated to suite our intention. If you say sango and amadioha? Have you forgotten that some people(priest) are in charge of these deities that knows what to use to appease the deities. What if the deities' wand presented by the priests are fake how are we going to know. |
Ope o! Thank God! At least my tribe owns the 1st 3 and 5 schools out of the first 10 universities. But they said the north of niger people are backward in education. Why do they have 3 schools in the top ten with the boko haram menace on education? Waiting for the polytechnic list. |
Update ur post with the source's website . |
Nice work by the police force. How i wish they are consistent with this task of protecting the citizens! |
This practice is common among the igbo tribe. And i think that is one of the reorientation of the civil war. Cos after the war, most of their houses built in the north were confisticated and never returned to them. Besides, many of them are mobile moving from one location to the other for business transaction. In yorubaland, there is this saying 'ile ni abo isinmi oko' (after the day farmwork, home is the resting place). They believe that after spending their youthful and productive age in another man's land, the next thing is to go back home and retire to enjoy what they have acquired. Seems many hausas aren't really interested in life outside their territory except some that come with trailer to the southern sabos. Though they are many in lagos. |
The problem about the MASSOB is just lipservice. The last time, they said declaration of biafra state in november 5. Better they are serious and united so that people will recognise their agitation. Moreover, when are they going to declare the public holiday for the dead bodies found on the anambra river! |
Mtchew! Nonsense. Little wonder they are enslaved in their country. Told by his ancestor to marry for ritual sake. How can a 8yr boy recognise his ancestor? |
I don't think so! Many igbos don't believe in nigeria but biafra. So what is the point ruling what they don't believe in! |
Dejo Tumfulu! That is the only character am contented with his role and personal life which has not recorded any scandal against be it womanizing, fraudulence or drug dealings. So i owe him many bottles of drinks for that. |
I am not really bothered about the power sharing formula of the APC. All i want is another viable party that can stand head to head and match the super power of the present PDP. So that when an administration fail to perform, we can turn our focus to another party for deliverance. And won't continue to wander in the same wilderness of mediocrity. When the Americans were experiencing the great depression under the administration of Calvin Coolidge and Herbert Clark Hoover all Republicans in the year 1929 to early 1940s, the americans had to go for the next party for salvation in the Democrats presenting Franklin Delano Roosevelt. And it worked. We don't need being stereotyped and glued to a party, this is democracy for goodness sake. But the problem with nigerian politics is the same people keep on crossing carpets and changing party. |
ANOTHER DIFFERENCE BETWEEN APC's VISIT AND PDP's VISIT TO BORNO STATE! |
Still wanna carry on when nursing a kidney failure which places him on a dialyses every 2days! Well, what does one expect from a typical camerounian in power? Ahmadou Ahidjo became president when cameroun became independent on jan 1 1960 to 1982 when he was forced to vacate power by his deteriorating health handing over power to the prime minister, Paul Biya. Paul Biya started ruling since that 1982 till date. |
JOHANNESBURG (AFP) – Cameroonian strongman Issa Hayatou will be re-elected unopposed in Morocco on Sunday for a final four-year term as Confederation of African Football (CAF) president. The 66-year-old, voted into power during the 1988 Cup of Nations in the north African kingdom, told reporters last month that this would be last period as boss of the 54-state organisation. His decision to carry on took some observers by surprise with World Soccer magazine reporting that he is suffering from kidney failure that requires dialysis every second day. Ivorian Jacques Anouma, one of four Africans on the executive committee of world governing body FIFA, wanted to oppose Hayatou at the CAF congress in Marrakech, but a change to the election rules disqualified him. Anouma and the Ivorian and Liberian football associations made four appeals to the Switzerland-based Court for Arbitration in Sport (CAS) in an effort to overturn the ruling, but it backed CAF each time. The 60-year-old Ivorian believes Hayatou was behind a successful Algerian proposal at a special congress in the Seychelles last year to amend the rules and restrict the CAF presidency to voting members of the executive committee. Although permitted to attend CAF executive meetings, Anouma cannot vote because he is not an elected member, and the 44-6 verdict in favour of the change suggests he would have suffered a heavy election defeat by Hayatou. The Cameroonian has been challenged twice during his lengthy reign and both opponents, Armando Machedo of Angola and Ismail Bhamjee of Botswana, suffered humiliating losses. “It is a scandalous manoeuvre which belongs to a past era,” complained Anouma. “Our continent deserves a confederation that is truly democratic, transparent and ready to face the real challenges.” But there has been no shortage of support for Hayatou, the son of a sultan from northern cotton city Garoua who represented Cameroon at basketball and middle-distance running. “Hayatou has offered a new platform for African football with innovative competitions like the African Nations Championship and we unanimously renewed our trust in his leadership,” said central Africa region boss Iya Mohammed. West Africa region official Jammeh Bojang said: “We pledge our continuous support for Hayatou to lead African football. The game has seen many changes in development and we are solidly behind his stay in office.” Hayatou is the fifth CAF president and by far the longest serving ahead of Ethiopian Ydnekatchew Tessema (15 years), Egyptian Abdel Aziz Moustafa (10), Sudanese Abdel Halim Mohammad (5) and Egyptian Abdel Aziz Abdallah Salem (1). Apart from crowning Hayatou, there will be elections for four executive committee positions while Algerian Mohamed Raouraoua (North) and Sudanese Magdi Sham El Din (Centre-East) return unopposed. Former South African politician Danny Jordaan, one of the officials credited with a successful 2010 World Cup in his country, is among six challengers for two South seats. CAF vice-president Suketu Patel from the Seychelles is expected to top the polling with Jordaan set to finish second ahead of officials from Madagascar, Mozambique, Namibia and Swaziland. Among four candidates for a West A seat is Malian Amadou Diakite, banned by FIFA for two years in 2010 over alleged bribery in the vote-buying scandal around the 2018 and 2022 World Cup hosting. The draw for the Cup of Nations qualifying competition — home-and- away preliminary ties this year and a six-round group phase next year — is also scheduled for this weekend with Morocco exempt as 2015 hosts. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/03/final-four-year-term-for-caf-boss-hayatou/ |
SINCE penultimate Saturday, it has been anguish in Akwukwu-Igbo, headquarters of Oshimili North Local Government Area ofDelta State, where rainstorm rendered over 5,000 persons homeless and destroyed no fewer than 200 houses. A two –year –old child, Agilga Okafor, and her mother was struck by the storm which started around 5.00 pm. It was as if the forces of nature particularly chose the community for the attack, as none of the neighboring communities was affected by the storm. The rainstorm, which pulled off the roof of the mortuary of the General Hospital, Akwukwu-Igbo, did not also spare the dead. Traditional ruler of the community, HRM, Obi David Azuka, whose palace was damaged, told Sunday Vanguard, “It was a calamity that befell us, we have not seen this kind of thing before in this town.” A medical personnel said, “There is fear that the corpses in the mortuary will be exposed if there is rainfall now and we expect government to act fast to avoid an epidemic.” A source said, “Six persons, including a woman who was unconscious, a pupil with laceration from Madona Comprehensive School, Akwukwu Igbo, were rushed to the General Hospital, Akwukwu Igbo, but many of the victims, especially those with broken hands legs and hands, decided to go to traditional medicine practitioners.” Mrs. Okafor and her son were initially taken to a traditional doctor before they were taken to the General Hospital, on Monday, two days after the disaster. However, the state government has intervened by sending the Commissioner for Special Duties, Chief Tony Nwaka, to the community. Obi Azuka confirmed the visit of Nwaka and the chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area. His words, “The commissioner said he was sent by Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan to assess the situation and promised that government would assist in rebuilding damaged property. The chairman of the local government council also said they would assist.” Besides the mortuary of the General Hospital, Akwukwu- Igbo, our source said the doctor s residential quarters theatre, laundry, general out- patient department, GOPD, walk way, female ward, chief nursing officer’s flat, plant house and pharmacy were affected.” Managing director of Haalimonwo Ventures, Akwukwu-Igbo, also affected by the storm, Mr. Jude Amaize, said, “There is practically no household in the community that was not affected by the rainstorm, this is a terible mishap and we call on the relevant authorities to come the aid of the people”. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/03/anguish-as-rainstorm-sacks-5000-in-delta/ |
It won't make any sense to you since I finally exposed your nature. OJUKWU sold Jonathan to his masters the Hausas only declaring support for IBB against his so-called Ijaw brother. OJUKWU is a traitor and I hope the south south people are seeing what you are capable of doing.
werey! I think i need charging you for erroneous affliation of identity. Omo yoruba ni mi o! Omo kaaro o ojire kan na ni wa o! |
LIE.. The issues that led you into making the statement in the first place are still very prevalent, so keep your STORY to urself. I posted ur comments for you to see the level of your SHORT-SIGHTEDNESS..!!
common garri! The guy isn't short sighted but myopic. Just because he is made a moderator, that is why he is trying to pretend to repent of the statement. |

Another father xmas donation. Is Akpabio through with his official assignments? The most embarrassing part of the situation is that the 29 people that will be sponsored to Dubai for the wedding ceremony are well to do people that have the money to go to Dubai and even shuttle between Dubai and Nigeria at will. And not those that can't afford the flight. |
God of clue, i know say you no dey house when GEJ dey contest, since you don show now, abeg dash our president clue so that he won't remain clueless again. Every curse wey he don recieve ignorantly from madam like calling herself widow when she saw her fellow widows. Don't let it come to pass. He said we should pray that all those involved in the independence day celebration should confess. God answer the prayer. By 2015 let us come to rejoice with him that he has entered the election to his house with Madam patience safely without any problem. |
Also some newspapers like punch have a column where they publish what the social media says mostly nairaland. Was just surprised when my neighbor that knows my handle came to show me my comment on driver's graduate in dangote school. |
