coogar: go and sit down somewhere, ignoramus!
next time, your opinion after posting a sensitive issue like the article you lifted would suffice. however, you are too intellectually-deficient to offer any brilliant opinion on this one. tape it shut and let people blessed with intelligence contribute.
may your tail catch fire.

Evil Brain: Help me understand what you are saying. So because some oyimbos came and did something horrible in 1996, that justifies the killing of our innocent fellow Nigerians who are working hard to prevent a disease that cripples children and destroys their lives?

I hope you are never put in any position of authority.
learn to read and understand. Read what i wrote clearly.

copy and paste job does not make you intelligent - any charlatan can go online and lift links to post on nairaland. you are so poor in spirit rainbow appears to you in black and white. you posted an article and yet you have not shared your own opinion - are you genetically daft or your dumbness is environmentally-induced?
well, you are just making me to understand the meaning of ignorance with your posts more than any dictionary meaning and google search

but they made us to realise that close to #1.5billion was used for its rehabilitation last year. Think this is a substantial amount that can make a compactible structure of the bridge for a 15 more years. So another billions of naira will be needed for its renovation again.

Nigeria has metamorphosized to the opposite of what Lord Lugard said.
Ideal nigeria! Not surprised anyway. Cos the 'ideal properties of the gas' was only proposed and propouded but only seems to exist in imagination but not in the physical and appearance.

one wouldn't blame them if one was following the 1996 problem the children had with the meningitis immunity drug(trovan) produced by the PFIZER DRUG COMPANY in USA, which was tested in Kano during the outbreak of meningitis. The drug caused death and various disease on the children.

All the same the action taken i.e killing by the people in Kano is very barbaric.

Politics › Re: N15bn Loan Approved For Locally-made Buses by Tolexander:
my concern is not the approval of the funds but the disbursement. There are many approved roads on paper but never executed on the land. There are many promises like boko haram issue that would end by last year June.
Another issue is the government patronage of the bus manufactured by the companies. There is certain allocation to the health and education sector during the preparation of the annual budget. How many of these leaders that do the budget patronises nigerian hospital and public schools? It is very nice approving the fund for them but it will be very better if they can be patronising the manufactured buses from these companies for their official assignments. That will give the companies psychological boost up apart from the financial boost up from the loan by the presidency.
But the civil problem is that the fund may be diverted for other use by the beneficiaries to another thing or even misappropriated and mismanaged.
Culture › Re: Why Do Yoruba People Have Low Facebook Name Self Esteem- Kemi Olunloyo by Tolexander:
Facebook is a social site. When one talks about any social gathering, it doesn't mean you need being official or try following any formal protocol concerning your name, address, profile or the modus operandi of their characters. One is free to write his name anyhow and act anyhow so far it doesn't violate the rules and regulation binding the handlers and also the action that is against the sociality and relationship with his other colleagues or anybody emotionally, psychologically and morally on the social site.
The 'defaced' name may be for security reasons now. Or is facebook a site for formal and official matters in which you must be formal and official with every detail?
The OP falls prey of argumentum ad ignorantium, hasty conclusion, hasty generalization for saying the act is peculiar to the yorubas. What does she know about other tribes? what does she understand about their alphabets, names and the alphabetic characters of their names?

If there were no exams?
Then all of us would come first and no one would come last like our fathers.

There wont be GP.

I wouldn't have any repeat in OAU pharmacy school.

I wouldn't tried befriending my teachers to upgrade me.

I wouldn't feel inferior to ask the most brilliant gurl in my class out.

Seun Osewa wouldn't leave OAU electrical electronic engineering for NAIRALAND.

My parent wouldn't be beating me at the end of each term after collecting my report card.

I would be very rich in school because there wouldn't be reason to spend my money on expo.

Ogede ti wo koko ye tan, ogede ti di igi buruku(a banana tree has nurtured the cocoa tree to maturity, and the banana tree considered a nuisance)!
El rufai seems to be doing all these cos of the 2015 presidential election. Baba 'dey laff o' in 2007, na only God sabi wetin baba go do in 2015.
The mouth shouldn't bite the finger that fed it cos it had seen a spoon.

why do they need to veto the budget? Isn't there a constitutional role for each arm of the goverment preventing interference of responsibility?
Well, constitution can be crazy if one is not really conversant with it.

Dalion: His name z vitorious Moses. He will reach d promised land
my point is let us continue to pray he leads us to the promise land and not relating him to the biblical moses.
Sports › Re: Moses A Doubt For Sunday's Match - Keshi by Tolexander: 10:13am On Feb 08, 2013
auschris: The Israelites still made it to the promised land without Moses. Dont forget. In the absence of Moses, may God give us a 'Joshua' that will take us to the promised land. Amen
neva talked about Israelite. Moses is the subject. Then let us say he will lead up to the promised land rather than afflicting him with the biblical moses that didn't reach the promise land.
Romance › Re: The Worst Valentine Gift You Ever Received by Tolexander:
very funny question cos of my micheivous act in secondary school.
Then in SSS3. We had the valentine in class, though we'd been doing it in our previous classes. We would collate the name of each student in the class, wrap them in a paper and start passing the basket containing the paper. The essence of this was to buy a gift for anybody whose name you picked.
Coincidentally, i picked a gurl who had been my gurlfriend since sss1, but broke up with me in sss3 first term cos of one part 1 medical student that used to be our senior. In our previous celebrated val, i gave her a nice perfume and wrist watch packs that my aunty brought from Dubai(all stolen from her wardrobe anyway). And she gave me a pair of nice white snickers.
She thought i would reciprocate the nice guy i used to do when we were together. As a gurl expecting something better than last val's gift, she bought me a golden wrist watch. And i as a vindictive guy that had already been looking for the glorious day to retaliate, i perfectly wrapped a garri and #5 candy in a present pack so that she wouldn't know what is inside. We exchanged the gift the following day during closing time and went to our various homes cos it wont be nice checking what the gift was in school.
The following day. When i got to school, just saw her friend giving me a malicious look and i was becoming terrified that seems there is fire on the mountain today. During the break time, she came to me and started locking my shirt. The issue even got to the principal.

Politics › Re: Prayers Will Boost Fg’s Quest For Prosperous Nigeria—jonathan by Tolexander: 9:17am On Feb 08, 2013
Faith without work is dead.
Even claiming to achieved his goal for a better nigeria. How will a worse nigeria be if this is a better nigeria?
In the bible, the children of Israel prayed anytime they are in problem and God did give them the clue. But our our president is always clueless even with his prayer or maybe he lacks praying clue.
