buzugee: speaking of pads, is it not a waste of the worlds resources for women to be using pads ? ok lets do the math. there are 7 billion people in the world. let say 2 billion are adult women. can you imagine 2 billion women using up a pack of pad every month ? all that resource ? and where do they dump 2 billion packs of pad monthly after usage ? what landfill is bearing the brunt of this ? wouldnt it be better if women had a towel that they used and washed ? this way they are not wasting and dumping tonnes of stuff ? WHOSE WITH ME ?? let save the environment women. use towel Nice question wrong tread , Open yours and ask all the way, OK? |

This happened last night but go me ROTFL. Went to the gas Station to buy male Condoms ,yes I am married and we practice safe sex as we've had 3 kids in 3.5 years. . We all know they keep them in an area where you do have to ask someone before u can purchase them. here is how the convo went: Me : May I buy some some some ****at this point I was looking at the item, feeling intimidated as the cashier was a guy***** Cashier : Maam, would u like some condoms? Me: ah Yes Cashier: Which one would you like?, extra small, small, large, extra large, sheepskin, * the dude carried on with his silly list with a equally silly grin on his silly face* At this point a couple of other guys were behind me trying to pay for some items and could hear the conversation Me: I said the yellow one in large please and may I have 3 packs * i was trying to buy as many as I don't wanna come back for while* Cashier: wow ma'am, it going to be a long night, hahahahhahahah, good luck to the lucky dude At this even point the other guys were laughing, then the chipped in, Have fun lady, one said with a silly wink, I paid for my item and i tear rubber commot for the place, this quite funny and embarrassing , my husband still cannot stop laughing, lol BTW, this was my first time buying some myself has Hubby normally does. And Yes I did have a great time Please share your embarrassing stories about you purchasing this item. |

Education › Re: Are Nigerian Universities Always Dirty by tolutara: 2:41pm On Jul 27, 2010 |
Liedetect: Allays wondered why that was. The Nigerian colleges during my time were fantastic, I remember the beauty of the college at Ughelli set at the end of a boulevard of trees. It had state of the art agricultural wing, experimenting on breeding livestock. The there was Government college Ughelli, founded by Baden Powell, set in foursquare miles of prime land, it had cricket pavilion in faux top English public schools style etc. Government College Warri, all great places but Universities often seemed horrible by comparison.
Still, those universities seem to produce brilliant people. Nigerians educated in those run down places always seem to excel compered to those educated in say Ghana or South Africa. Find a top Nigerian anywhere in the world for some reason their formative years began in Nigerian university. Perhaps having little access to resources, undergrads in Nigeria are/were forced to read entire volumes of works instead of having excepts pointed out to them that would form the bases of exams as pertains at English universities and institutes of higher learning.
I wonder what the keen Nigerian mind will archive if their universities receive maximum investment.
Nigeria is great. What the are u talking about ?? Come on, are u actually serious? |
Family › Submission In A Marriage: Women, Why The Resistance? by tolutara(op): 2:50pm On Jul 26, 2010 |
This is truly a question that boggles my mind. I have girlfriends both married and single (in relationships) and this issue always rear its ugly head.
Seems there is a battle of the sexes when the issue of submission arises. Personally I think it takes a woman of strength to truly submit to a man. It isn't easy to take the high road especially when u disagree. It is difficult to subject yourself to a decision taken by your husband (especially when u disagree and feel might affect you negatively).
So truly women your opinions are required:
1. What is your definition of submission in a marriage/ relationship? 2. Why the resistance? 3.How does being in submission make you feel? |
