She's known for pushing the envelope when it comes to clothes - but Lady Gaga is taking her look to a whole new level if her latest make-over is anything to go by.

The star appeared on Jay Leno's U.S. chat show last night with her face covered in flesh-coloured spikes that look like subdermal implants - the latest craze for people into extreme body modification in which metal shapes or even items of jewellery are implanted under the skin.

However, her spokesman told MailOnline 'no comment' when it came to whether the star had actually had them surgically implanted, or whether they were just convincing prosthetics.

Christianity EtcI Love You: by tolutara(op): 8:15pm On Feb 10, 2011
Dear friend,
Jesus Christ died on the cross at Calvary for YOUR sins. Yes, for my sins too, but I myself have already accepted Christ. Although I know that I am a sinner, having accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, makes all the difference in the world! He died for my sins and I am therefore washed clean by the blood of Jesus, You can be too!! Open your heart, mind and soul and invite Jesus Christ into your life right now. You won't know what you have been missing in your life until you do.

THE SALVATION PRAYER:
Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.
I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.
Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.
Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.
Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.
Amen.

Please consider reading the Gospel of John in the Holy Bible.
As you read, pay special attention to the following:

1) Who is Jesus Christ? What does the Gospel of John tell us about who He is? Who does Jesus claim to be? Was He merely a good teacher or prophet, or was He more than this?

2) According to the words of Jesus Christ Himself, what can He do for the human heart?

3) What is eternal life and how can it be obtained?
Look online for the Gospel of John, or look in the Holy Bible.

God bless you !

Aminalib drop it already. I thought you and missyb were on the same page before you diverted? huh

Tolutara's anger comes from the fact that women her age and even younger are busy wearing gucci bags whilst she is settling for 100naira alaba market made jungle of a bag. She has said it on here that she isnt here to criticise but obviously she is, I mean lets go back to her O.Post, she practically judged and criticized women that are "materialistic" and then twisted her words again by saying she is only giving her opinion and not judging , I mean does she understand the word "criticize" at all?

If a woman can afford 5000USD hand bag so be it. Life is too short, I do not believe in been stingy. Some women have suffered , worked hard to get to where they are today. So what on earth is wrong with them spending their money

Tolutara whether u gave your opinion or not the fact still remains "IT IS NOT YOUR BUSINESS,GO AND COOK FOR YOUR FAMILY AND STOP WORRYING OVER SOME FORTUNATE MILLIONAIRES" you no get work sef? huh
At the risk of being repetitive, Like i said to you earlier , this is the kind of narrow mindedness i see all over NL in your posts.
You are still concerned about what i have or don't have abi?,Since u don't know how to use your brains, and have any real contribution to the world, Do the world a favor, Open your mouth, Pull your lips over your head and Swallow, lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Now nothing wrong in getting those frivolities listed above at those ridiculous prices if you feel you have the money to waste on it and not bat an eyelid and still take care of business but after reading the italicized (Amount of cash in the Fendi wallet $45, credit card debt over $5000), thats just sheer stupidity and I think that is the point the poster is trying to get across.
Thanks for really reading the OP, I gave up long ago as most women did not take the time to read and understand my post, How could u possible afford the above when you have over $5000 in CC Debts,

Thanks again.

Apparently, you're  trying so hard to get accolade from NL males? cool
Wait for it . . . It shall come , soon.  undecided

It's as simply as it sounds, mind your business. Some people are highly fashionable, some are less and others are not. Know where you belong, remain there and let others be.
It's only commonsensical to, as they say, cut one's coat according to one's material.
Let whoever fails to live by the maxim bite the bullet.
the bolded sounds silly to me, Accolade from the NL men?, are freaking kidding me?, Why would that be necessary to me. If you are contributing to the topic, Don't shoot the messenger, just respond to the message ,favorable or not.

Lol  grin  . . . beef!  tongue

Still you need to speak for yourself . . . .

To each his own and it's not good to condemn people cos you are not in their shoes.

I had a friend (male) who at the age of 26 was buying SUVs, luxirious cars and living in the most expensive apartments in town. And he didnt even earn that much! People condemned him and said he lived an extarvargant lifestyle . . . about a year later he died in an accident and the same people truned around to say 'Thank God he lived his life to the fullest' . . .  undecided  undecided
I agree with to each his own . No one is condemning anyone. certainly I am not, gave my opinion, and that was it.

Now we know where the problem lies. grin grin cheesy cheesy

Leave women to spend and mind your family my dear. What another woman wears on her body, legs, head or where ever is none of your business.

If you cannot afford a 1000dollars bag or dont see buying one as right, then let those who wanna enjoy their lives freely do so.

BLame God for blessing women with money and good husbands that can afford it.
Where in my quote did i say I couldn't afford it or i don't have husband who could, this the kind of narrow mindedness i see all over NL in your posts.  How based on my response is me not minding my family and how have stopped any woman including yourself from spending whatever he or she wants.

Topic was opened to get different views about the issue not insults, so Sweetie, don't dare go there with me ok, have some respect for your brain and exercise its use.
FamilyRe: Some Family Women And Materialistic Issues? by tolutara(op): 2:23pm On Nov 10, 2010
I know women are going to try to defend their positions which is quite fine with me, here is my philosophy, call it wrong. if you are not making over $500k per year and you have a nest egg or trust fund for your children, u have no business being this reckless.

As a business owner, it is very difficult for me to justify spending a $1000 on a handbag, i know that won't be the only one in your closet.

Again a lot of women are very consumption minded but not producers of almost anything. Especially black women, look around you both in Naija, or anywhere in the world, black women are chief spender even though their white counterparts mostly make more money than they do and also save more money that they do,

Keep spending go on soun,

yeah

I don't think you ladies understand what i was saying, I am talking about ladies that all of the above on at the same time huh there isn't anything wrong with treats here and there but that is not what i am saying.
FamilySome Family Women And Materialistic Issues? by tolutara(op): 5:07pm On Nov 09, 2010
I say the below at the risk of being told the reason why I am voicing my opinions is because i can't afford it. Let put that aside for now.

I feel a lot of women should stop being so darn materialistic. Gosh!

Weave $450, Gucci bag $375 ,Prada shoes $485, Vera Wang shades $180 , Fendi wallet $120, House of Dereon Bangles $85, Movado Wristwatch $165, the list is endless, Amount of cash in the Fendi wallet $45, credit card debt over $5000. SMH. cry

I Can understand women wanting to look good, but at what expense?. Some women have no savings for a rainy day especially when they have kids depending on them but will spend all of the above reckless in one day. Scourging through endless magazines trying to stay fly ,when u have real women making real dough.

I actually feel the most sorry for the men. I can understand the conflict of wanting your woman to look really good but at what expense? I feel that the average woman as a consumer Mentality, always consuming but hardly producing,

My humble opinion BTW I am a woman.
RomanceRe: A Dedication To Your Ex! by tolutara: 4:57pm On Nov 03, 2010
J,

Despite I innocently loved you. You took my love for granted , you lied to me about pretty much everything including your age and your marital status. I moved from London to the US after your proposal to find out you have been lying to me. You were married with Kids , not one but three. Thought i was going to die due to your treachery but guess what I survived and i didn't tuck my tails behind my legs and moved back to Jand. I stayed in the US and made something for myself.

All of the above happened not knowing you were actually just a stepping stone for me to meet the flesh of flesh and Bone of my bone. I met the most wonderful man on the face of the earth. We now have 3 kids together another one on the way. Opened 2 successful  businesses and cannot be happier. My life is swell.

Thank God for not answering my prayers about being with you . Thanks to God, I am not with a back stabbing Cheat like you. Being with you would have been a disservice to humanity. Saw me a few Years ago, You could believe whom i have become. And I still saw u as a sad sad pitiful man who still goes around deceiving young girls, It's Your Wife I actually feel very sorry for.

No song is dedicated you as u are so not worth it, but my hubby, I dedicate All my life by Jodeci to you. You simply are the best. Muah smiley

CareerRe: In A Democratic Society, Government Is Not Responsible For Job Creation? by tolutara(op): 4:41pm On Oct 14, 2010
AjanleKoko:
In most countries, even the highly capitalist ones like the US, government is always the highest employer of labour.
By the time you look at what the government needs to be doing, good roads, consistent power/electricity, tax benefits etc like you mentioned, you find that these government initiatives require people to do all those things. The scale of those projects are national, so you probably will find that government will create jobs directly and indirectly, ultimately. So, in a nutshell, it is their responsibility to create jobs.
The bolded above isn't true. Small business together makes up the largest Employer not the government. I agree with you per the government having indirectly impacts job creation. That was why i initially stated that the government need create an avenue for businesses to foster which will directly create jobs as well as invite foreign business to the country ( Which the Nigerian Government has failed woefully). But Government-created jobs make a very small percentage of the job market.
PoliticsIn A Democratic Society, Government Is Not Responsible For Job Creation? by tolutara(op): 3:17pm On Oct 14, 2010
People what is your take on this?

I believe that is not the government's responsibility to create jobs for its citizen but to create an environment ( this includes good roads, consistent power/electricity, tax benefits etc)which fosters job creation through its small, medium sized and large corporations.

The average Nigerian complains that the reason why they haven't found a job is because the government has no jobs .

please weigh in on this,
