TV/Movies / E360: Got The Talent? I Want To Put You On TV! by toluwalomo(m): 7:27pm On Jun 26, 2006
Hi,

I don't know if yall have come across a programme called E360. We are on 11 stations pan-Nigeria. Presently showing on DSTV African Magic on Thursday 5:30 and also tied up a deal with a U.S. based cable network, that covers the Americas and some esoteric places i can't recall at the moment.

E360 in summation, stands for all-round entertainment, meaning we touch on all the genes of entertainment: movies, music, tourism, clothes, cars, hi-tech gadgetry e.t.c. Anything entertainment oriented gets a spot with us. One episode we had a dude who could peel a coconut with his teeth. If you can do something as crazy as that too, you get your shine!

We have run features on Asa, Dj Jimmy Jatt, The Rise And Rise Of Hip Hop In Nigeria, Frank Oshodi, Tunde Kelani, Fatai Rolling Dollar, Zizi Cardow, Banke Mesida, The ?Mark Crew and the list goes on.

Now we want to unearth new talent. By that I mean real talent and not people who want to try their luck because nothing else seems to be working.

I have some criteria, I'm looking out for. But if i tell you, that means, everybody wins and crap mix with the phat.

But i will give you this: I am looking for people who can do stuff beyond music. I feel it is a saturated market and give props to Nigerians for versatility. So please prove me right.

Hit me on badboi_112@yahoo.com. Can't give my full details now. If anyone cuts the coat. I will step up the contact.
Music/Radio / Re: Dr Dre Or Sean Puffy Combs by toluwalomo(m): 4:09pm On Jun 26, 2006
Dre is a producer, Puffy is an executive producer. Dre produces himself whilst Puffy waits for Deric D-Dot and co to produce, then puts his fake hooks in btw and then says he did it!
Music/Radio / Re: Real Hip Hop's Top 10 Emcees Of All Time ! by toluwalomo(m): 10:18am On Jun 23, 2006
I am not saying my list is perfect. But I think you need to step your rap game up and look beyond sentiments.

A Jean Grae on a Hip Hop list of all time be serious!!!!! When people like Redman, Big Daddy Kane, Big Pun, Kool G Rap, Latifah and Salt N' Pepa did not cut the list.

How the hell did a Jean Grae make it? What are your indices? You just had to chuck a woman in there huh?

A Big Boi from OUTKAST, lol, you trying to be funny right. Even in the group Andre 3000 gets more shine, so how did he make it into rap's elite.

Maybe you should put Eedris Abdul Kareem whilst you at it. grin
Music/Radio / Real Hip Hop's Top 10 Emcees Of All Time ! by toluwalomo(m): 7:35pm On Jun 22, 2006
I was grew up with Hip-Hop. So I bring all the elements to bear in my top ten emcees list of all time. I hae been bumping Hip Hop formerly known as rap music for over 20 years, so i think my list nears perfection. Even though some of you might disagree.

10. Ice Cube- brought the fire into rap

9. Snoop Dogg-brought the West Coast back to life

8. KRS- One-too many styles

7. Rakim-lyrically ahead of his time

6. L.L.cool J-consistency 12 albums ( i think)

5. Eminem- originality

4. JAY-Z- took the rap from the minority to the majority

3. NAS- street poet

2. Biggie - Micheal Jordan of flow

1. Tupac-Charismatic

You ain't finding a Nelly, Ja-Rule or 50 Cent in my list!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Will Chelsea Win the 2005 UEFA Champions League? by toluwalomo(m): 8:11pm On Nov 27, 2005

The Champions League is still young but already, those who have no inkling about football are already tipping "boring Chelsea" to lift the trophy.

Chelsea can afford to splash mega-bucks in the English league and win the title.Simply because there is no stiff competition in the English league. Remove Arsenal, Man-UTD maybe Liverpool and a nameless bogey team and viola boredom in blue" strolls to the trophy.

Abrahamovich did his homework well. If he had spent his billions in Spain he would have gone bankrupt by now.

Anyways, the Champions league is another terrain entirely. And not the kick the ball and run after it way of the premiereship. Here, Chelsea will have to contend with the German grit, the Italian ruggedness, the diligent French and the mesmeric artistry of BARCELONA.

In conclusion, will CHELSEA win the league? YES! When hell freezes over!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: What Arsene Wenger Needs to Do by toluwalomo(m): 7:50pm On Nov 27, 2005
Nothing is wrong with Arsene Wenger. He believes in grooming talent and it takes time for them to click. Already,Arsenal in the top 3 in the premiership and we still got acres to cover before the season ends.

Apart from Wiltord,Reyes and until recently Alex Hleb, there is no other player (exempt the young talents) that Wenger bought at the top of his game. Viera, Bergkamp, Pires, Kanu and even the great Thierry Henry were damned in their respective clubs before they came to Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger is a frugal and astute coach. He works with a tight budget and purchases forgotten quality very time.

Unlike a Chelsea team that spent millions and still got booted out of the Carling cup.
