He's a one-hit wonder.

He cannot do anything else even if he had the word PLATINUM stamped on his ass.

He was lucky with Yahoozie.

Prolly smart coining a track round a popular dance step. That's where it ends sha.

Mr Olu Maintain calling himself the King,

Gimme a break, wat shud P-square and D'banj call themselves? gods?

Fish Farming, Exporting Palm Kernel and Cashew nuts, a credible, well-researched online business.

Take note of the last biz, alot of crap flying out there promising so much but deliver very little.

Business / Re: Alternative To Paypal! by toluwalomo(m): 2:23pm On Jul 07, 2009
There are more than 150 million Paypal accounts world wide.

Alert pay does not rack up to half of that.

It's good that Alert Pay allows Nigerians to join.

Using Alert pay in the virtual world is like using cowrie shells to buy shares.

If you don't have Paypal, people you would be doing your online business a big disfavor.

After credit cards comes Pay Pal, don't have it, you are wasting your darn time online
TV/Movies / Re: "koko Mansion" What A Show! by toluwalomo(m): 1:48pm On Jul 06, 2009
The girls are escapees from the Bimbo colony.

It pays to do things with a lil bit of panache.

Laughing to the bank or not, and considering the D'banj brand and Hitv's involvement, it deserved a little bit more class.

Whilst people from other nations do reality shows and give a peep into the type of people they really are.

Nigerians do the same stuff and give a peep into the type of people they are not.

9JA, We are an incredible bunch.

@ Bonjeh, give me some credit man.

And I was only referring to her verse on Bragging Rights.

You think I came up with that assumption, just by listening to her verse and thinking it looked as if Freestyle the Ghost writer was on it?

I am a journalist man.

I mingle with these cats.

I know them personally.

So kill dat noise.
Music/Radio / Re: Who Is Terry G? by toluwalomo(m): 3:12pm On Jun 15, 2009
If you are gonna criticize the guy, let it be on another platform and not that his beats sound the same.

Cuz his beats are recognizable don't mean they sound the same.

Erick Sermon, Wu-tang's RZA, Havoc of Mobb Deep are cats who use the same bass lines and instruments on just about any track they lace, so after selling millions of records later, what does that make them?

When someone just does not conform to standards, it's a problem.

He is a signature producer.

He does not have to huff and puff like Diddy over a track, for you to know he produced it.

Hate it or love it. Terry G is the HIT DOCTOR, 2SHOT, ILL BLISS, AY.COM,

You want a hot dance track you go see him.

The guy needs to choose who he works with sha, to build an impressive roster. All dem wannabees could be counter-productive.
Celebrities / Re: Hiphop World Presenters Vs Soundcity Presenters by toluwalomo(m): 2:27pm On Jun 15, 2009
Hip Hop presenters are way better.

Sound City presenters are like cyborgs, programmed to talk and act in certain ways.

No ingenuity, no personality. just funny accents and borrowed clothes from boutiques grin

Apart from the light-skinned girl who does their news beats the rest are wiggedy-WACK!

Nigezie's Andre Blaze is the best presenter out there sha.

Wit, Attitude and crazy humour.

The boi will stand with anyone on the planet.
Music/Radio / Re: Hiphop World Presenters Vs Soundcity Presenters by toluwalomo(m): 2:19pm On Jun 15, 2009
There is no comparison here.

Hip Hop World presenters are way better: eloquence, attitude, multi-track minds.

If you want to learn how not to present watch Sound City presenters.

That aside sha, the best presenter out there is Nigezie's Andre Blaze.

Your average Nigerian presenter thinks all it takes is a nasal fake-ass accent and to borrow clothes from the closest boutique.

Blaze is the -ish.

Wit, humour, atttitude.
Music/Radio / Re: M.i Vs Blaise by toluwalomo(m): 2:07pm On Jun 15, 2009
You are yapping about some one who has not released an album for how many years now? tongue

Blaise's Bragging Rights verses" that has you all gummy were written by Freestyle.

Judging by your name, you sound alien, like you flew in from Mars or sumthing.

Was Blaise the first rapper you listened to?

That will explain your trifling comparisons
Sports / Micheal Owen: Sends Out Brochures About Himself To 8 Prem Clubs by toluwalomo(m): 1:56pm On Jun 15, 2009
Check out this news excerpt:

MICHAEL OWEN has sent a glossy 34- page brochure about HIMSELF to eight Premier League clubs in a desperate attempt to find a new team for next season.

It is believed to be the first time in Premier League history that a player has produced his own prospectus to prompt a transfer.

The one-time golden boy of English football and former European Footballer of the Year has been reduced to hawking himself around after suffering the ignominy of relegation with Newcastle.

The brochure - circulated by Owen's management company Wasserman Media Group - has been sent to eight top-flight clubs, including Aston Villa, Everton, Portsmouth and West Ham.

In it, WMG boast about the benefits of signing the ex-England striker, his clean-cut image, commercial value and goalscoring prowess and include a medical report.

The brochure rivals any produced by top-end estate agents to advertise multi-million mansions.

Just imagine, folks - For Sale: A magnificent, luxury two-legged footballer, set on a picturesque plot in the North East of England.

Backs on to racecourse (at every opportunity). High maintenance, but must be seen to be appreciated. £80,000 per week, or nearest offer, subject to contract.

But WMG have dropped a brick in trying to allay fears about the 29-year-old's injury-prone record.

The sales details state Owen, who signed for Newcastle in a £16m move from Real Madrid four years ago, has appeared in 77 per cent of the Toon's games in the last two years.

But that's a bit of a sales clanger considering Mike Ashley's Magpies have suffered the shame of dropping out of the Premier League despite Owen's involvement.

Sam Rush, WMG's chief operating officer, explained the brochure, saying: "Although there's been interest from abroad, Michael told us he'd prefer to stay in the Prem.

"So after the season ended, we prepared a document showing all the information an interested club would require and this was circulated to a select group.

Cuz he pulled a Jackie Chan rehash on Olisa (formerly of Cool FM) when he roughed up his girl, "bad boy" got thinking he was invincible.

One thing he should know, if you think you bad, there are always peeps who are badder than you.

Kel has to be the weakest 9ja rapper alive.

Not out with an album and already, we are sleeping on her style.

Too busy augmenting her cholesterol levels rather than upgrading her rap art. grin
