Celebrities › Re: Dagrin: 3 Years After by tomakint: 11:35pm On Apr 22, 2013
In as much as I don't enjoy Nigerian artistes for their incoherent and baseless lyrics I think Dagrin was a raw talent and a pure class, he gave life to his songs RIP bro! Olamide is another chap doing great cool
Politics › Re: Jonathan Quiet More Than 48 Hours After Soldiers Massacred 185 Civilian In Borno by tomakint: 11:21pm On Apr 22, 2013
For real Jonthan wouldn't have kept mute for 48 hours without saying something to the bereaved the JTF actually engaged the terrorists in a duel and casualties surfaced! Obviously very few innocents will be victims but the majority are the Boko Haramists this is another 'inferior news from the staples' of CPC, ACN alarmists undecided
Politics › Re: PDP To ACN: We Are All Guilty Of Corruption by tomakint:
I had expected this FACT from PDP long before now! Corruption, the hydra-headed monster in Nigerian politics is not a PDP thing but Nigerian Nemesis since time immemorial and I don't see what PDP is doing wrong now that ACN, CPC, APC or APGA will do right undecided In actual fact, I don't believe in partisan politics working in Nigeria it's a system that embraces wastefulness and encourages corruption on a large scale. So, whatever PDP is guilty of, other parties are also guilty of as well! cool
Politics › Re: CBN To Change From Polymer To Paper Notes by tomakint: 7:21am On Apr 22, 2013
Signs of incompetences revealed again on the part of our so-called leaders, they shoyuld have considered thoroughly the durability of the polymer before phasing out the paper notes! Well, this is a welcome development, the polymer idea was indeed a colossal failure undecided
Culture › Re: The Mystery Behind The Birth Of The Oba Of Benin by tomakint: 10:55pm On Apr 21, 2013
Of all the Monarchs in this country, he remains one of the 'extremely few' that still commands RESPECT! I just Love Him!
Politics › Re: Obasanjo Had A Killer Squad As President -- Former Associate by tomakint: 6:07pm On Apr 21, 2013
Obasanjo has nothing to answer. Constitutionally, presidents have immunity for life. Omisore killed Bola Ige. Everybody knows that
Omisore was just a decoy it is a known fact that the death of Bola Ige emanated from the Presidency and even the killer squad were traceable to Atiku there is no more secret as far as Politics in Nigeria is concerned cool
Politics › Re: 2015: Jonathan In Secret Meeting With Ooni, 22 Yoruba Obas by tomakint: 10:18am On Apr 21, 2013
amAZEing: 1. The Awujale of Ijebuland
2. The Aalafin of Oyo
3. The Olubadan of Ibadan land
4. The Alake of Egbaland
The above Obas have integrity and will not dabble into this type of politics. You can\t buy them with petrodollars.
Really? may be when Olubadan is removed from ur list others are confirmed 'sell out' you better wake up and stop fooling urself! When real money is involved, hardly can you trust anyone cool
Politics › Re: 2015: Jonathan In Secret Meeting With Ooni, 22 Yoruba Obas by tomakint: 10:09am On Apr 21, 2013
Too many clowns on Nairaland, what Jonathan is doing now is what we call 'political master-stroke' it's just a matter of time! After 2015 Presidential Elections results, you'll will come back to quote me that, I SAID IT! Everyman (including Kings etc) has a price that he can be bought cool Jonathan is indeed a smart man!
Politics › Re: Corruption Is Massive Under Jonathan – US by tomakint: 9:49am On Apr 21, 2013
Going thru this piece, i have just few words to drop, agreed, Jonathan is not showing enough balls to face corrupters and corruption face to face but his achievements in other spheres of government still speak volume! For one American clown to label Jonathan's govt as highly corrupt is just the usual mind games Americans are known for! The truth is, GEJ's administration is not that bad as being portrayed by many biased analysts out there undecided
Politics › Re: Obasanjo Pushing HID Awolowo On Wheel-Chair (Picture) by tomakint: 9:33am On Apr 21, 2013
chiover: Baba has proven that he is a humble man
Humble? You gotta be kiddin me shocked Obasanjo is just being sarcastic with this gesture, he was never a fan of the great sage, neither was Oluwole Awolowo a fan of Obj! Obasanjo is simply a clown undecided
Politics › Re: My Candid Take On 2015 - Dele Momodu by tomakint: 8:39am On Apr 21, 2013
Bob Dee spoke some words of wisdom here for any who wants to learn, he carefully chose his choice of words! This is not an extempore but a well prepared speech! However, Jonathan still stands a chance to be returned into power come 2015 as I have always believed and as Dele Momodu rightly pointed out here cool
Politics › Re: Which African Do You Most Admire? by tomakint: 10:55pm On Apr 20, 2013
Patrice Lumumba of the then Congo, for his firm belief in embracing a system of government (communism) that would have liberated his people from the supremacist whites rather than going with the 'democracy forced down our throat' which is actually a 'conduit pipe' to siphon away our numerous rich natural resources to enrich the lives of our brothers and sisters up the temperate region undecided if permitted to add more, my other two would be Gani Fawehinmi and Fela cool
Politics › Re: How Buhari Destroyed Corrupt UK Bank Profiting From Nigerian Corruption by tomakint: 10:24pm On Apr 20, 2013

Politics › Re: The Real Buhari by tomakint: 5:26pm On Apr 20, 2013
thelastPope: Please read the article before you comment. You cannot change history. It is going to continue to follow you forever
Stop replying that small boy called 'airhead' its just a sheer waste of time. Dudes like him got to know the man Buhari on the pages of Nairaland, newspapers and during the elections of 2003 ask d he-goat if he knew Buhari as a military head of state undecided once again, kudos for your efforts here so far cool
Politics › Re: The Real Buhari by tomakint: 4:54pm On Apr 20, 2013
As usual thelastPope, you have done it again, more power to your elbows as you keep liberating those under the influence of political bondage on Nairaland! cool

omanzo02: Unfortunately for him, those places are my playground, I am waiting for his next Google tricks and info.
grin grin grin
and just like that you made Pataki to become irrelevant in the scheme of things despite your many challenges thrown at him, he had refused to tackle just one of them cheesy definitely, like I used to say, PATAKI is no longer PATAKI on Nairaland undecided
Politics › Re: Edo State Local Government Election Update by tomakint: 3:45pm On Apr 20, 2013
....and goons in the house will be shouting on top of their lungs shipishi (CPC), hayceehen (ACN) and haypeeshi (APC) when in actual facts these parties are as disorganised as the handwriting of a leper! If a local government election is this delayed and ill-planned in an ACN-controlled state I wonder what a gubernatorial and senatorial elections would looked like undecided Jonathan all the way 2019 cool
Politics › Re: Jonathan Seeks Stiffer Penalties For Corrupt Officials by tomakint: 6:08pm On Apr 19, 2013
Ola Johnson: I didn't go online to make any search. The memory of the broadcast and the knocks the Presidency received from TI is still fresh. For your information, I don't hate GEJ.
Ok Ola Johnson cool
Jobs/Vacancies › Surviving On A Meager Salary: How Do You Cope? by tomakint(op): 6:02pm On Apr 19, 2013
It is disheartening to wonder at how employers of Labour today especially in the private sector pay their workers in dribs and drabs and still expect them to give their best! In Nigeria of today, it is very embarrassing that many 'GRADUATES' still earn paltry sums between the range of N10,000 to N20,000 monthly for survival and I asked, what type of survival is that? Most times I just wondered to myself how salary-earners cope without engaging in one business or the other! Nigeria revolution will definitely be kick-started not only by the jobless youths but definitely by those employed youths whose take-home can't even take them home cry cry cry
