1MCN: I think Jonathan is working. Maybe Nigerians should just stop all the hullabalou and tribalization and give him and his accolytes a chance and some good support.

I also want to point out that it appears that when the 2015 electioneering would be due in maybe late 2014 he'd have so much to show for his already spent time in office that most people calling for his head now will turn around and call for the heads of their deceivers now who are busy making noise while he's calmly plotting the developmental graphs for Nigeria.

God Bless Nigeria.
My brother this is not the time 'to think', this JONATHAN IS WORKING simple! cool

dbride: Northerners, why are you always clamouring for power. You go as far as making an agreement with the incumbent as if Nigeria belongs to the incumbent. This is funny, odd and to hit it hard satanic. You have ruled for upwards 35 years and when you are not in power you do everything to destabilize the nation. This method of my turn my turn, north south, agreement agreement, just like little children, makes me conclude we are still in the woods running in circles achieving nothing. One part is obssessed with being in power and has become their preoccupation. No other contribution. North north, power power even threatening to destroy if they dont have their way. Haba na wetin? Must we be together if we can go our separate ways? Get angry, go your way, rule yourselves and nobody will bat an eye.
Enough of this clogg in the wheel of progress.

SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE is the only way forward and they dread it. Just like Oliver Twist, they want everything through the backdoor.
My brother 1 billion GBOSAS ((((***)))) for your wise saying, unfortunately too many "baby southerners" are too blind to understand the mission of these 'lost ones' up North always shouting o top of their lungs "Fawa Fawa" (mimicking hausa's pronunciation for power) even when they don't know anything to do with it, once again I proclaim "Woe unto any Southerner (be it southwest, southeast and south-south) that dares cast his or her votes for any 'Funky Mallam' its pay back time for all the atrocities they have done to this country" especially shortly after the end of the Nigerian-Biafran War! cool

I see a detribalised man who has lofty workable plans for Nigeria. He turned Kano into a small Malaysia and can do great for Nigeria.

slimghost: Honor which agreement? The aburi accord was not respected, so what makes you think anybody gives a rat ass about your so called "agreement"? Was it not a Northerner that promised that the North would make this nation ungovernable for GEJ? What exactly is the noise all about? Power is not returning to the North come 2015 else Nigeria ceases to exist, mark my words.

Politics › Re: A Land Of Billionaires And Poorinaires; What Is The Future? by tomakint:
Definitely, with the situation of things the future looks very bleak, where exactly did we get it wrong? We got it wrong right from October 1st, 1960 (Our Independence date)! I have always been an advocate for a good welfare package as means to an end concerning the precarious condition Nigeria found herself, the stark Irony is that, Nigeria is stupendously rich yet, majority of Nigerians are still poor! These blue prints are poised to fashion out an economic agenda of a Welfare State through:

• Provisions of good living wages for all workers;
• Aggressive employment creation through the resuscitation of industrial capacity operations [re-appraisal of the National Open Apprenticeship Scheme and Job Creation Loan Guarantee Scheme];
• Enabling environment for small-scale enterprises;
• Making education affordable to all;
• Rejuvenation of our agricultural sector;
• Development of tourism and environmental segment in the country;
• Efficient allocation of resources;
• Price stability through the curbing of inflation problems;
• Acceleration of economic growth through increase in per capita income;
• Achieving balance of payment;
• Controlling the consumption of goods and services which are considered harmful;
• Preventing the dumping of goods that could be hazardous to citizen’s health into the country and;
• Fashioning a good package of social welfare schemes for the young, the employed and the old.

With these entire factors put in place, I see a good foundation being laid down for an enduring Anti-Corruption Crusade and effective campaign for a moral rebirth and regeneration in Nigeria. To do otherwise, is an open invitation for another donkey years of wastefulness and total emptiness of policies.

Politics › Re: Lamido-Amaechi Campaign Posters Flood Ibadan by tomakint: 11:17am On Apr 15, 2013
Abel202: My people, sentiments apart. Fact is that a Lamido/Amaechi ticket stands no chance at all at displacing GEJ come 2015 whether in the PDP or in any opposition party. When people make informed observations concerning Lamido, this poster resorts to insults. Question is - outside Jigawa state, who knows Lamido and his so-called achievements? Anwser - NOBODY. If you are looking for performing governors who can have a chance at displacing GEJ, talk of people like FASHOLA of Lagos, ROCHAS of Imo, AKPABIO of Akwa Ibom, ADAMS Osheomole of Edo and even Amaechi of Rivers. Then you can get a Lamido or El Rufai to be their Vice, then you have a possibility of beating GEJ come 2015.
The propblem with the North is that they want power by all means. They hate Jonathan just because he is not a Northerner. For them a sick and paralysed Yaradua sitting there and doing nothing would be better than Jonathan. Sorry folks it woun't work ever again.
If the opposition realy want to displace GEJ by 2015 Let them try fielding any of these pairs in APC and see what happens:
ROCHAS / EL RUFAI
FASHOLA / SANUSI
They will have far more chance in smelling power with any of the above pairs than this dead-on-arrival Lamido/Amaechi or their usual Buhari+any southern V.P.
If the poster wants to brandish his usual insults, no wahala. Let them bring out Lamido/Amaechi come 2015 and see GEJ smiling and cruising to victory EFFORTLESSLY.
You just made my day with your brilliant post, so many 'babies' in the house! If the North is becoming a 'hotbed of political, ethnic and religious violence' right under our nose and a candidate from that same place is what some people wants to be the President, then I will continue to laugh at their stupidity! cheesy cheesy cheesy Even if a 'Pope' (apologies to my Catholic friends) emerges as a Northern candidate he can never win, if in doubt advice Buhari (I challenged you all Buhari supporters) to contest against Jonathan and he go hear wen. Bottomline: We (southerners) don't want any funky mallams for now, let them stay at the sidelines and watch! Enough is Enough!

I have been to Jigawa and it is quite clear that Lamido knows how to do wonders with little resources. His credentials and managerial abilities are not in doubt. That is the problem with engaging in a conversation with notorious Tinubu's APC internet dogs. They can hardly put two sentences together without abuse or insult. As much as one tries, there's no point having any conversation with mentally incapacitated and confused fools. A fool will always act like one.
