Atiku Formally Seeks PDP Presidential Ticket, Meets with Party Leadership Atiku..ready to take on Buhari By Onyebuchi Ezigbo in Abuja Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has officially flagged off the move to pick the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by meeting with the national leadership of the party in Abuja. Speaking yesterday in Abuja at a meeting with the PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, and members of National Working Committee, Atiku said with the level of improvement so far recorded in the rebranding of the party, reclaiming power in 2019 is a mission accomplished. “I believe that if we sustain the feat recorded during the governorship primary in Ekiti State in other primaries that will come, this party is destined to reclaim its role and retrieve power generally through our electoral process. If there was anything that really affected the performance of this party, it was the way and manner primaries were conducted and how candidates were selected but with the precedent you have set, we are on our way to reclaiming power in 2019. “This meeting is not intended for anything other than my desire to seek the presidential ticket of the party. I am here to put you on notice and I believe that I should do this before reaching out to other organs of the party. I want thank you and look forward to working with you,” he said. Atiku also cleared the doubt about his loyalty, saying, “whether as presidential candidate or not, you can always expect me to fulfill my obligations as a loyal member”. In his remark, Secondus said leadership of the PDP was determined to return the party to its original vision of the founding fathers. He said that it was for this reason that the leadership’s first agenda was to rebrand and reposition the party. “We have removed all those impediments of imposition, of impunity, from the dictionary of the National Headquarters of our party. “I promise you, that by the grace of God, that there will be free, fair, transparent primaries, and as you noted that we did well in Ekiti State, we will do more because we have no choice so as to restore the confidence of Nigerians because Nigerians are yearning for the return of PDP, and the best we can offer is to be free and fair to all aspirants.” https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2018/06/23/atiku-formally-seeks-pdp-presidential-ticket-meets-with-party-leadership/amp/ |
THE CONTROVERSIAL PRESIDENT HAS COME OUT AGAIN! Nigerians from all spheres of life were eager to listen and watch their president sign the much awaited 2018 appropriation bill into law in Wednesday 20th June, 2018 in a joyous and appropriate manner that the whole world will for once again remember and accord our Dear Country a respect. Unfortunately, our name calling President Buhari as usual goofed again, by telling Nigerians and the entire world that he was arm twisted to sign the 2018 appropriation bill into law. I am sadden, disappointed and felt seriously ashamed to listen to this president called Buhari passing blame as usual. I am surprised ever than before this time around because I discovered from the president's speech that he is uneducated, uninformed, uncivilized and lack experience in piloting a democratic state. In that president's speech, Buhari revealed to the world and Nigerians that he does not have the information about separation of powers, rule of law and the contents of the Nigerian Constitution which he sworn to abide, rule with and protect on 29th May, 2015. From the president's speech I also discovered these other loopholes: 1. President Buhari is not aware that the National Assembly is empowered to scrutinized a presented bill in order to make necessary adjustments and corrections. For President Buhari sees these as tempering, padding or trespassing by the people elected Legislators. 2. President Buhari sees the lawmakers as bunch of idiots, zombies, or dafts who does not possess any knowledge, experience or skills that could make them discovered any short comings in the presented appropriation bill. 3. President Buhari shows the world that he is very rude, proud and having a domineering spirit in him and that was why he was expecting the legislators not to amend any aspect of the presented bill and was hoping to received an approved budget the same way it was presented to the National Assembly. 4. I discovered also that President Buhari was crying wolf where there is non by saying that he was not willing to sign but was compelled to ( I don't know those ruling or controlling or forcing him to sign now). That false alarm is a sign that our President is not a good leader by training, experience and personal ability, for a good leader must be calm and cool headed even in difficult time. 5. Again, President Buhari shows the world and observing Nigerians that his blametocratic and demonizing of opposition and National Assembly members is one of his topmost priority. Or what should we call placing of constituency projects into budget a crime ? Are those constituency projects not meant for Nigerian masses? Or is proposing good projects for someone constituency now corruption in this present government? 6. The last strike that broke the horse back was the statement from President Buhari that he was not sure about implementing the much talked about and much anticipated budget. Mind you, this frightening statement will definitely frightens investors and we can be rest assured of its negative impact on our economy. Alas, since the President is not certain definitely the development, progress and promotion of Nigeria for 2018 is uncertain. What a government under President Buhari! To round up, I decided to put up this write up to let Buhari and his admirers to know that not every Nigerians belong to the fools category. I know by training, by reading, by experience, by information and by the present economic hardship, how a government ought to be run and what a head of state and government should say and character he should, by my scale you failed in all. I am not among the cowards who are afraid to speak the truth, stand for the truth and stand by the truth, for the truth is bitter and must be said by someone who knows it's value. To you reading this my write up, do remember that if you are afraid to speak out against tyranny and injustice, YOU ARE STILL A SLAVE! State Of The Nation: Nigerians May Stone Buhari In Next 6 Months – Apostle Suleman Auchi-based preacher and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has predicted that Nigerians may be forced to hurl stones at the incoming president, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. The fire-spitting preacher stated that in frustration, people may resort to stoning the President-Elect elect if they did not see the highly publicized change by the new government. It could be recalled that Suleiman had predicted the emergence of the All Peoples Congress, APC, candidate but warned that he may not be allowed to rule. In an interview with Punch, the cleric said: “Let me say this to you. In the next six months, people may stone Buhari. The reason I’m saying this is because the expectation is too high. Nigerians expect Buhari to put gold on their tables. Two, the large chunk of followership Buhari has are youths and young people and they are impatient. Young people don’t believe in progressive change, they want change. When they say change, they see a new picture. And Buhari has been talking from the two sides of the mouth. During campaign, he told us Boko Haram would be a thing of the past. Now, you are President-elect, you are saying people shouldn’t expect a miracle. Are you a pastor? If I wanted a miracle worker, won’t I bring a Mallam or a miracle worker? When you were being voted for, we were not voting for a pastor, so don’t tell us about miracles. “Like I said, Jonathan will be seen as a hero very soon because that’s the Nigerian story. Anybody who they feel is not doing well, get him out. The next few minutes, they miss this person. If by September, there is still a blink in power, people will start abusing Buhari. You said you were going to do this. Two, who are Buhari’s footmen, the large chunk are ex-PDP people and of course you know, many are still defecting. Nigerian politicians are the most shameless people (I know); they can’t bear hunger. They are defecting now to lobby for offices. If you should check the people around the man, it gives you an idea of where the man is heading.” Suleiman also shed light on the implications of President Jonathan’s concession, said, I saw him a month before the election and we talked one on one. All I told him was that he wouldn’t win. I personally told Jonathan to concede defeat. I told him he would save a lot of heads if he conceded defeat and left. I saw not less than half a million people without their heads. “We have a President who has had two problems– he is politically naive and he doesn’t understand the concept of power. We have had a President who has a media team that doesn’t understand what they call ceasefire. I told the President one on one that his media team didn’t manage him well. I told him, he would not come back. I said the other people had not just got the will of the people, they had got the will of some ministers of God in the place of prayer and few of them had contacted certain ministers of God and we had sat down and discovered we needed change”. http://newsbreakng.com/2018/06/19/state-nation-nigerians-may-stone-buhari-next-6-months-apostle-suleman/ |
Blue3k:This Mumu government of Buhari actually voted or projected an $8 billion estimate to bring the steel plant back to life but up till date, no show |
Such a big shame we had previous governments who couldn't see beyond their noses and fix this great investment for the progress and development of this country in the area of massive steel production which would have made us a Giant in the production of steels and it's by products to the global market. Unfortunately, a lying government came onboard promising heaven on earth through the revamping of this great investment and up till date, we are yet to see anything working. Shame on previous governments and biggest shame on the Buhari's kleptomanic government of empty boasters. |

ATIKU MEDIA OFFICE PRESS RELEASE I did my beat as Vice President to Obasanjo – Atiku Yenagoa, Nigeria, 19 June 2018: Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has explained that by the letters of the Nigerian Constitution, a Vice President is limited in his official powers to execute projects of his own initiative. That, according to the former Vice President, limited his capacity to deliver even on some lofty projects designed for his own state in Adamawa while he served with President Obasanjo. Atiku Abubakar made this statement on Tuesday while speaking to journalists on arrival at the Port Harcourt International Airport in continuation of his consultations to Bayelsa and Rivers States for his 2019 presidential bid. He reminded that as Vice President he did not have the powers to initiate and execute projects of his own choice, but to engage the process. He stated further that it is on record that he creditably discharged tasks assigned to him as Vice President. He regretted that apart from constitutional constraints, which limited the powers of the Vice President, the politics and political intrigues of that era also harmed the larger interest of the people of Adamawa, as some of its share of federal infrastructure including roads were deliberately discontinued on account of some political differences among several key players. The PDP presidential hopeful said that the administration he served in as Vice President awarded contracts for the Mayo Belwa-Jada-Ganye-Tongo and Yola-Mubi-Maiduguri roads in Adamawa State in its first term. According to him, there was supposed to be a spur of the road linking Mambilla in Taraba State and thereby making it the shortest cut to Mambilla but execution of these were delayed and later truncated on the altar of politics. Atiku said allegations that funds meant for road projects in the state were diverted to build the American University of Nigeria in Yola was being unfair to him, and that "it shows lack of understanding of how government runs on the part of the people making such allegations. Government does not run on such pedestrian level, it is a process." He maintained that all the money used for setting up the first development university in Africa came from private sources. "To set the records straight, no public funds were involved in all my investments in several sectors that have continued to provide jobs and enhance educational and socio-economic well being of Nigerians. I have always been contented with what God has given to me in all its ramifications and I thank Him for using me to better the lot of the people". "Without being immodest, I was a successful businessman before going into politics and subsequently becoming the Vice President by Allah's Grace. I was not desperate to be in government in order to make money but to serve the people in my own little way and contribute my quota to its overall development". Atiku Abubakar asserted that he was the most investigated Vice President in Nigeria, and challenged "anybody with evidence linking public funds to the AUN or any of his private investment to come forward to prove that". Atiku lamented that some people do not appreciate individuals who create wealth by their personal initiative and resourcefulness but rather hold contrary views with the stigma of such possessing ill gotten wealth. He said that it was wrong to assume that one can't succeed without stealing public funds, noting that it is well documented that he (Atiku) had made a success of his businesses before he was tapped as Vice President. "If money was my motivation for seeking elective office, I would not have joined the presidential race at any point in time in my political career. My ability to make money through my businesses was established long before I was chosen as Vice President," he said. He stressed that passion for service, and the desire to bring efficiency in the management of government affairs are the main reasons he wants to run for President. He however affirmed that better days are ahead not only for Adamawa State but indeed for all of Nigeria when he gets the mandate of Nigerians to serve as President in 2019. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10156853857287841&id=595332840 |

Atiku speaks on restructuring at HoG awards Former Vice President and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential hopeful, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is billed to address the issue of restructuring next weekend at the Hall of Grace, HoG, awards. Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar Indications to this effect emerged from a former Minister of Information, Chief Alex Akinyele. Chief Akinyele, also the Grand Custodian of the HoG Awards, said: “I have personally signed off and approved the fact that Alhaji Atiku should speak to Nigerians through the platform of the HoG Awards holding on June 24 in Lagos. “There is the need for every well-meaning Nigerian to support restructuring our Nation. We believe that the structure isn’t working the way we all expect it to. There is the urgent need to do this debate and make all Nigerians understand how restructuring will work, particularly our brothers and sisters from the North.” On why the organisation chose the former Vice President to speak on the issue, Chief Akinyele said: “At HoG, we believe in sincerity. “We have looked at those clamouring for restructuring and we have seen that the former Vice President is perhaps the most sincere.” Distinguished Nigerians such as Atiku Abubakar, Ibrahim Dankwambo, Bukola Saraki, Ben Bruce and Shehu Sani will be honored at the event. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/06/atiku-speaks-restructuring-hog-awards-2/ |

BISHOP OLAGUNJU REVEALS WINNERS OF 2019 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, EKITI GOVERNORSHIP POLL “Firstly, it is unfortunate that killing is going on in the state even before the election proper. If there is a clean, free and fair election, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Professor Eleka would defeat Fayemi hands down. People might be thinking on why should Fayemi contest again? Yes, as Almighty God who knows the heart of man lives, Obasanjo will forgive and support Atiku for the presidency. And Atiku will defeat Buhari come 2019 Presidential Election. “Notable Nigerians would support and root for Atiku come 2019. I am not campaigning for Atiku, whatever comes out of my mouth is based on revelation that I received from God. To me, it is idiotic and stupid for anybody to say I have collected Ghana-Must-Go from Atiku. Let us wait till 2019 and see.” Read full story here http://dailypost.ng/2018/06/17/bishop-olagunju-reveals-winners-2019-presidential-election-ekiti-governorship-poll/ |
