Gather all documents required by IRCC and your VFS:

1. International Passport(s)

2. 2 Passport Photographs (see further instructions below in addendum 1)

3. Passport Request Letter (aka ready for visa mail)

4. Duly filled Height and Eye Colour Chart. (A single form containing details for every member of the family)

5. IMM008 for those with a change in family composition (by a birth, death, marriage or divorce, etc)

6. 1 CVAC form. With only page 2 filled in by PA. Do not fill pages 3 & 4. Also advisable to fill in Caps. Ink color doesn't matter.

Just one question. Is there a specific document/form for the "Height and Eye Colour chart?" or should i just write it out on a piece of paper?

Hi Tomiade, congrats on your approved trv. I think its wiser and smarter to apply after you are fully enrolled in school before submitting an application for your spouse. The probability of your spouse getting approved before your arrival is next to zero.

Also, I am sure if you try to read some 20 pages back, you would get to see documents submitted for SOWP.

There is a great possibility if you can show you have enough money to support her. 10dollars a year plus additional 4K for spouse and 3k for dependents. And she has to qualify for other requirements of the laws. There is a forum you can join on Nairaland dedicated to spousal work permit. So this is the wrong forum to post. Here is also a link to help you with knowing what to submit in applying for the SOWP for your wife to join you in Canada. The processing time is long!

This might not be the appropriate thread for my question but would really appreciate any input.

What is the possibility of getting my wife's SOWP approved with my approved TRV. I heard i would need my study permit (which would be issued at the point of entry) and a letterof enrolment from my school stating information about me and my course. But from my observation from comments here, i did not see any mention of these documents.

I have also had bad experiences with duro soleye. I took my new baby there cos he had jaundice and at a time I had to shout and scream at the nurse and Dr. Kasali. They are so unprofessional. All that the nurses are looking for is to help cut bills to their advantage (you sorting them afterwards). On my exit from the hospital, I tore their card at the reception for everyone to see.
