ade2kay:So what? is book keeping bad? And who told you that Accounting is all about book keeping?.Secondly, all the professors in 'your' science and engineering, of what use have they been to Nigeria. What have 'your' professors in engineering invented that has put Nigeria in the limelight. HISS. |
I'm trying to hold back tears as I type ![]() LOIUS XIV:I concor. It's high time the government woke up to its responsibility. That road has claimed so many lives already.Almost if not all federal roads in Nigeria are bad.The government has failed the people. With all the money we have our roads are still bad, no water, poor power supply, unemployment, high level of poverty, insecurity and the list goes on and on.Oh my Nigeria I cry for thee. |
cold:Word. |
What has happened has happened and all we hear is "the incident is barbaric, bla bla bla and the perpetrators would be brought to book".This is a mere rhetoric that we hear all the time and still the perpetrators are yet to be brought to book.It is high time Nigerian leaders realised that action speaks louder than than words.Nigerians are tired of listening to rhetorics when things like this happen something visible should be done to stop(or at least reduce) all these bombings. Those who say GEJ should not be blamed for this, I don't really agree with them. When a soccer team goes for a competition and they come back with the trophy, everybody praises the coach even though he was not directly involved in the win.Everybody blames the coach if the team performs poorly. If poverty is reduced, there is uninterrupted power supply, unemployment is reduced, there are good roads etc in Nigeria everybody praises the president then I see no reason why the same president should not be blamed if all these are absent. sonai:Guy is your thinking faculty under your feet |

hmm GEJ should not have acted so swiftly without the consent of the senate. Those who nicknamed Nigeria theatre of the absurd might not be wrong afterall. |

I travel on that road often but each time, I always pray to God for divine protection but sincerely speaking that road has become a nightmare to most people. Sometimes back Bi-courtney signed for the rehabilitation of the road but all one sees today are the billboards of the company at various locations without anything to show for it.In some hours time, we will all roll out the drums to celebrate Nigeria at 50, yet many that were wishing to see October 1 2010 when Nigeria would be 50 are dead now, no thanks to that road, it's really sad. Nigeria really needs prayers.Well for those of us that ply that road often and are still alive, may God continue to protect us. Happy Independence Nigeria. |
Saleh Maina has been removed.Thank God ![]() |
muhsin:Must we always bring religion into every issue? |
There is really nothing to celebrate.I can bet that on Oct. 1 most places will be without electricity.Does that call for celebration? The money govt is planning to use for the celebration should be used to improve the power sector cos it is a shame that at fifty the "giant of Africa" cannot provide uninterrupted power supply for her citizens.May God help us.
