State the relationship you have with your sponsor and he should swear an affidavit that he would sponsor you too.

I have a question. Can someone who has ever overstayed his/her visa in another country before immigrate to Canada?
My friend once lived in the UK and overstayed her visa because she was trying to process her new born baby’s passport. She lived in the UK illegally for like 2 months and now she wants to immigrate to Canada.

She has been a caregiver for 2 years.

Happy Sunday wonderful people...
Hope you all are good.

My question is...

1) I have 3-sponsors in mind to use for my study visa application

- My Mum (in Nigeria)
- Aunty (in USA)
- Uncle (In Canada)

2) Is it advisable to use 3- Sponsors?

I do hear of - "the best sponsor for an Applicant is either Dad, Mum or Sibling"

Can I also use my Aunty & Uncle as Sponsors

Thanks

Bro use your mom and uncle in Canada. Don’t use 3 sponsor oo. E go cast

Hello guys, please a quick question. My sister just got admission to Conestoga college for January 2021. Is it safe to apply for visa now? The program is a yearly program, considering the waiting time for student visa. Is there time to put in an application now? Thanks guys
Omo it’s late oo. But you can apply sha and differ to May. Make sure your application is very strong too.

Ahn ahn and you say this with your full chest cheesy
It's wrong, they don't dish out ban unless for serious reasons like intentionally falsifying document. If it's a mismatch, you get a refusal but if your NOC is under C or D and you intentionally pick something under O, A or B just to fit in, you may be banned. They reject applications without strings attached too! Let's be mindful please.
That’s what I mean actually.

Hello. Please I want to ask how feasible is to get visa if you are a 2:1 graduate with admission from a college.
I heard that it is a red flag if you use an admission from a college instead of a university and you have a 2:2
Omo this your question is confusing oo. How do you mean exactly? If you had a 2:1 it doesn’t mean you must apply for a university you can decide to go to a college.

Please I got admission at Conestoga college Waterloo campus to study global hospitality management at post graduate level, I studied mass communications as first degree over here in Nigeria.....
But my visa was refused because of two reasons

1)am not satisfied you will leave Canada after study based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence

2)am not satisfied you will leave Canada based on your purpose of visit

My father is my sponsor and it stated clearly every financial document and capacity well gathered and submitted too

Please I wanna re apply what should I get right?

Bro before you travel again try to visit a country if your passport is virgin, also your course doesn’t tally ( mass com and global hospital management? ) you should search for another course more similar to yours. Home tile too. If you’re an OBO get your parents to transfer one of their properties to your name, also make sure your SOP is done. Think ahead... give the VO reasons to believe you’ll definitely come back

Hello Tonygrinds,

You can use an in-law. Just show proof of relationship by attaching the marriage certificate, your birth certificate, and that of your sibling that’s married to the in law.

It is rated as 3rd party sponsor. Not that strong so you have a lot of explaining to do, you have to show proof that your inlaw is close to you and is ready to foot your bills

How did they find out the person was using a wrong NOC?
Your reference letter from employer will reflect your duty in the role you were occupying. If it doesn’t tally with the noc code you might have to wait for 5 years

The express entry system is strict. They might feel you lied and ban you. It’s only study permit that can grant you a denial instead. Express entry = bam

Yes it does. If you pick the wrong NOC code you could get banned from applying to Canada for 5 years

Hi everyone,

I am contemplating of choosing between NOC 1241 - Administrative assistant or NOC 1221 - Administrative officer. I would like to know if either of them stand a better chance in terms of PNP or does one’s NOC influence one’s EE at any point?

Hello.

What would you like the house to assist you with? You need at least 1 year tuition + 10k cad. So 16k cad is too small. And if you are going to be self sponsored, you’ll need more money too. A sponsor is your best bet and you must submit the right documents to prevent a rejection.

My parents can help with 10kcad but i obviously need to show assets which we don’t have... feel me?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Tonygrinds(m): 8:35am On Oct 31, 2020
Hello Nairaland landers
I have been able to save about 16kCAD which i believe can fund my tuition fee for a PG.c my parents will also assist with some cash (not much) when applying. My only problem now is sponsor. I have a very rich uncle but we are not so close and i don’t know if he will be able to stand as sponsor considering all those documents IRCC needs when it comes to assets.

Abeg where do you work? I want to make money in Nigeria too and have peace of mind. Connect me Biko. I need a job
Focusmind:
Another thread to bash Nigeria. I agreed with you Op. People see some of us that have decided to stay as very insane. I had my kids in US and the person my wife stayed with in US havE been asking us the same question: What are you people still doing in Nigeria? Me and my wife are not the abroad-living type. I told her since I have worked hard to give double citizenship to my kids, there is no need for me to move and start life afresh.

Let me shock you. Do you know that 23 of my former colleagues have all relocated to Canada. I am sure COVID-19 is delaying some from making this move. These people that are moving are well to do people, earning well. It shows the hopelessness of the country. People move, leaving their high paying job mostly because of their kids. They want their kids to have better opportunity in future. The working class that are moving are not sure if there kids would be lucky as them. Secondly, people move because of insecurity and other social upheavals in Nigeria.

It is not that l like the status quo here. I still like my freedom, the prospect of growth, my extended family and the possibility of being "king" in my own jungle grin. Probably, if I didn't have my kids abroad, I would have considered the migration route just because of them. But for now, I dey kampe here undecided

Since you’ve a master’s degree why not just do IELTS, score high and then apply as a permanent resident?

Did you pay your school fees?

Chocs:
I’m sorry to hear about your refusal. I’ll advice you to order your GCMS notes to see the specific reason for the refusal. It can take up to 35 days and costs $12. If a Canadian citizen/PR applies on your behalf, it’s $5.

Did you submit a sponsorship letter? How many years is your course?

I’m not an expert but an applicant myself, but from my little knowledge, it would have been nice to have an amount enough for tuition and living expenses in your account. Your tuition alone is over 10 million. You also needed to show 10,000 CAD for living expenses. Your sponsor wouldn’t be able to release all the money in her account. So your finances might have been a bit tight.

Did you submit source of income for your sponsor? (Pay slips? Proof of business?)

After getting your GCMS and seeing the exact reason, please tackle it. Also, paying your tuition ahead would prove your capabilities. All the best.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Tonygrinds(m): 3:24pm On Sep 28, 2020
Bro you sef f*ck up nah. They said large deposit from unknown source. Meaning a huge amount entered your account at once. You should have written a letter showing them who the funds came from or you should have been patient to build your account for 6 months before applying.

I think 7.2 million is okay and Canada doesn’t deny visa because you have no travel history. If you have a travel history it’s okay but it’s not because you don’t have at all it’s weird. All boils down to the huge funds that was credited to your account.

Onweke:
Greetings All,

I submitted my previous application as self sponsor. The application was refused due to financial establishment as seen in GCMS. I submitted a SOA of 7.2 million for a one year course (tuition $8,250). I wanna use my cousin as a co sponsor. He has around 15 million in his account. We bear the same surname. I want to know the document to attach in my second application to show that we are related and he is my cousin.

What's the best way to address these negative note?.
