Rebuker: Chaos at the NYSC Abuja Camp as the Camp Commandant Allegedly Assaults Corps Members
According to an eyewitness, during the regular camp lectures, some corps members would still be at the Miami market, hoping to proceed directly to the lectures from there.
Typically, at this hour, there's a rush, with some attempting to leave promptly to avoid being caught by the military and facing punishment.
While trying to pay for his meal and leave, a corps member was confronted by the camp commandant, who began assaulting him. Without allowing the corps member to explain, Commander Timiware swiftly slapped him and hurled stones at him.
A camp market seller also fell victim to the soldier's aggression. According to the market seller, she was slapped for allowing the corps member to sit under her tent.
In reaction to this unbearable brutality, corps members left their hostels and staged a serious protest, vacating their accommodations en masse.
A worried corps member at the Abuja orientation camp disclosed that military personnel have persistently been involved in physically harming corps members, a clear breach of the rules outlined by the NYSC. These regulations explicitly forbid any military officer from subjecting corps members to physical punishment during their 21-day stay in the camp.
Prettygirl200: According to him I don't support his dreams, I don't encourage him, that my love for him was conditional, over time he keeps telling me that all the ladies that have come into his life has this tendency of supporting him and all of that, and I happen not to fall in that category, so because of that he keeps comparing and making reference's all the time it's always brings issues between us every now and then.
Some months ago he was facing serious financial problems, and all I was able to do the little I could even though it was chicken change but again he met a lady who did more than I did and the comparison started again, it again brought fights and arguments, off recent he has met a lady who according to him supported him greatly which he told him he has been able to bounce back and things are getting better, after some days he told me thesame lady confessed that she was in-love with me it was after that confession he then told me that he has seen and known how a woman can love unconditionally, that the lady never asked him of anything , that she supported his dreams and is encouraging something I couldn't do. Before then he told me about some things I was doing which he didn't like, I tried to adjust to suit in the woman he wanted me to be character wise that was when he told me I was acting up and pretending to love him because of what I stand to gain from him.
I just got fed up of the whole thing and told him that if the lady is the kind of woman he wants in his life he should be with her, he has always talked about a supportive woman and since I couldn't or didn't fall in that category I decided to let him go in other for me to have peace of mind. So I blocked him everywhere just so it will be easy for me to forget about him and everything, I don't know if I did the right thing?.

BluntCrazeMan: .. . . Anyone who suggests anything less than N1,000 is not actually aware of how big the Nigerian Economy truly is,, and how the human resources are being seriously bastardized..
The workers are being neglected..
And that's the resultant effect of what we have now at the moment.
. . In Nigeria, in the informal building construction sector,, the daily pay for artisans is N10,000, while that of labourers is N6,000.
This translates to N1,250 and N750 per hour respectively -- for the artisan and the labourer.
So, why would the professionals be the ones to be paid far less than artisans and labourers??
That's the abnormal thing in this country. It's not supposed to be like that. I Hope this can be implemented. And acted on.

Harry Kane has been involved in nine goals in his last 11 appearances against Man Utd in all competitions (five goals, four assists). He could become the first English player to score a Champions League goal at Old Trafford for a team other than Man Utd.
