That's the Nigeria we are. You mean you paid 60k I saw LASG task force, with some cars opposite lekki phase 1 gate, Earlier |

Driving in Lagos is an extreme sport, LGA touts are just everywhere looking for to extort. I was at Ikeja earlier, these LGA guys were towing cars inside the street (balogun).
While I as going home earlier (as trips were not forthcoming) I met ogba LGA touts, controlling traffic (looking for who to mislead), coming from acme road going to wempco road, at the intersection, I came a bit close to the intersection, they asked me to reverse back, which I did, one of them started to walk towards my car, I quickly wind up, he started shouting to me to wind down, I shouted back and asked him for what( I gave him a serious warning). Then he left. |

donfortune48: I chop their morning bonus at least 3times a week. I don't bother myself with any bolt bonus at all, except for the 8% commission. Do you stay around surulere? I think that's one of the places one can do more than 4 trips between 5am and 9am |

Luxurydriverng: Gear box wow, imagine the weight and pressure on your suspension, some drivers will still fulfil such trip Riders are abusing ehailing cars, many riders use Uber/bolt to carry load only because of the cheap fare compared to getting a truck or kabu kabu. |

shollywendy1: That time you are leaving is not bad at all. Atimes, if trip doesn't come like dat, drive towards hotspot like olowora, magodo and other neighbouring residential area. Gone are d days wey request dey find us but you gat look for request now. One just need a little fuel sacrifice to make money now. Best of luck Thamks for the advice, I think was just having one of those days when one experiences low number of request |

Blackbishop: Wow I just have to go back to understand where you are coming from. Those guys are toothless and barbaric.
I was to deliver a customer's car to him last week saturday, so I have to take 3md then link clinic road to face Ajah, toward the end of clinic road to link yaba, there is one dysfunctional traffic light there, a car was in front of me who waited for some folks crossing, immediately those guys successfully navigated their way across the road the vehicle in front of me moved which I followed suit.
Out of no where they just jumped in front me like say them don see prey. Within me I just laff say you go buy market wey no be your own now now. All the drama I no open door nor do I look concerned, the more they talk, the more I dey match my pedal dey move. When they see say I no send and am not ready to yield na dem comot my front.
In a nutshell for an instance you need to be bold and face them gallantly. Until proven guilty, you will remain innocent. Na just fear and I dont want them to delay me dey kill people True, nah lack of patience is what makes many drives give money to these criminals, when yaba LGA touts took meto their office for not putting on mask in my car(I was alone and AC was on). Alot of were paying 5k, 3k, 10k and they will let them go, Las Las nah N500(gate money) I pay |

Felicity0001: B4 the lockdown I had a rider from Merun off ekoro road to ikoyi, b4 we got to Abule Egba she made a call which we then had to go back to inside sango like you're going to cannaland to pickup her little niece from the UK then we reroute Ikoyi. Trip ended N6,800. Babe said she liked my service so I should come take the niece back home the next day.
I was just 2 trips away from hitting 3% on uber that week God so kind I did one coming back home and set destination to Lekki thr next day for the pick up I was lucky to get Surulere I guess on that day.
Got to PU for the lady I tried to negotiate offline for N7,000 but madam said she can only do 6k since I'm not paying Commission. As if she reminded me of my 3% I then said ok let's do it online instead. Since we gave each other 5stars the previous day her request came to me with 1.3x surge. Started trip around past 4pm and arrived around 8pm or there about. Trip was card on a Sunday na so uber knack her almost N11k surge fee in the receipt was about N3k+
That day I blessed anf praised my God I didn't do that trip offline else I would have regreted it.
As for me off trip doesn't pay me because I'm not that good in negotiation. Same with me, I'm not good at negotiation. I do avoid offline, though I do get alot of offline trip, I just tell them I'm busy or something |

Beng1234: Yesterday for yaba, council boys see as I Dey drive, them say make I park. For my mind, Wetin concern me, concern them? Naso I don Dey drop voice for them ooo (I still Dey middle of road) (AC on, central lock activated). As one of them approached, I asked what I did wrong. Baba said : “if it’s not that u are a young guy, i would have parked you”. Me: Park me? Wetin happen? Baba: next time, if u want to pick a call, clear well. I just laughed. Which call? I wasn’t pressing my phone. My phone was just hanged and my last call was about 20mins ago. Naso I hiss, zoom off
Even if I’m talking on phone, I haven’t committed any crime because I wasn’t holding the phone. It would have been on speaker They have tried that shi.t with me before, I change am for them, I wasn't even holding my phone. To survive on Lagos roads and escape these vultures, you don't have to show signs of weakness. If you sound weak, they go ride you. By nature, I'm a calm person, but I have learnt lesson, recently, twice I have escaped lastma extortion just by being extremely angry(unpredictable). Make una shine your eyes ooooh |

Felicity0001: Yes it happened to me last week was at Ojudu when this request came in on uber. Baba said he's going to Akelere In Abule egba but uber was telling me Akerele, Surulere.
If not for the fact I livr in Abule Egba I would have had issues with the elderly man.
We have Akerele street in Surulere but it's a Close we have in Abule egba.
For those of you who keep saying or believe Abule Egba had bad roads probably don't know anywhere in Lagos apart from your street.
The Lagos Abeokuta express road is only bad from Ijaye down to Abeokuta capital City where we have the Abeokuta Psychriatic Hospital, its about 60km from there to Ijaye. Then another place that is bad on that same road is from mushin to Jibowu bridge.
So lets stop spreading outdated and false news because we have a lot of people From all works of life who come here to get info. True, Abulegba has a good road network |

Bolt has some many bad riders, I got a request at magodo, called her, she said she's going to alapere, I said sorry I can't go( she said we will take here and here, I said I'm not going) she I said I should cancel, I said ok. While I was waiting for 5mins to pass, she started to call again, I didn't bother picking (she sounded like a troublesome person) naso she begin send me text say she go report me to bolt repeatedly (she wan make I reply, so she go talk say see wetin I talk ) I didn't even reply her, I just dey just chop my food for mama put with chilled bottle of coke. She even said that all bolt drivers are the same, that we are dubious (in my mind if we are all dubious why still use bolt ) I even get another gist, another encounter with terrible rider yesterday, bolt should include cancellation fee, because these their riders cancel without considering the driver |
