nope, I have seen the may security patch.....

it's still going well, except the notifications, I'm not bothered though, I don't really fancy WhatsApp that much so I kinda like the way I don't get the messages but I'm so loving the dark mode in battery saver.

it seems the notifications ish is only WhatsApp, I get my Gmail notifications without opening it, I get telegram too.

I downloaded the Ota file from a link i saw on Google... I sideloaded it by booting into recovery mode and installing it.. the file is 1.2gb..

this drama is beautifully written... the acting was superb, I don't even know the lead actress before this movie but she was really good in it, Emma Watson also doesn't seem to age, good acting from her too.

it's funny how contributing to this thread means 1) trolling 2) throwing tantrums 3) derailing 4) arguing baselessly etc.

imagine someone saying the people who don't contribute to this thread are the ones who are worried about future blah blah blah, the people who "contribute" to the thread barely contribute anything, they just derail and derail, I don't recall ever seeing hulk saying a movie he is watching which is the purpose of this thread.


I come to this thread to see a movie recommendation and also drop a review of my own, I respect some people here, they rate a movie even better than RT, they have a critical way of seeing a movie without bias and that's what we'll want to see more of here, instead, we go pages either with a DC-MARVEL argument or series argument when there's a thread for that.

and for people who are actually complaining about being banned, isn't derailing against the rules of nairaland, though they gave you another reason which is not quite right and it's understandable that you're furious or something but if I were the mod, I'd just say you derailed and that's it.



P.S:- what I just did is also derailing, I just need to pass that message.

he had a serious car accident last year, it required a back surgery, he came out to even say the accident was more than reported, he said he couldn't move at first, then he had to lie to the hospital that he was no longer feeling much pain so he could continue trying to work, he was close to paralysis.

Time is the major thing a lot of us complained about not having, always using it as an excuse for our ignorance on things that we ought to know, now that you have had more than 2 months to yourself, how have you been able to use it?
Do you still lack the time to gather that very much required knowledge?
That business you wanted to start but your 9-5 is soaking up your time, have you laid down the plan?
Have you been able to appraise yourself with more technological aspects of your profession, what you can add to your skill and improve your experience and expertise?

If you haven't done all you claimed time deprived of you then you're just not disciplined. There isn't sufficient time to do anything but I can tell you that there's enough time to do whatever you had your mind on, if you spend just 30 minutes a day on all you want to work on, you will get the required result albeit in slow pace, you need to just keep focused and disciplined on it.
Many of us are still where we were before the lockdown and curfew couple of weeks ago, no improvement or addition to what we know or have.

I woke up to a message from someone a while back, and she made me understand how a lot of youths are just using school as an excuse to do "NOTHING" until they are done with their undergrad and discover that they have been so unprepared for life itself, even the schooling seems like a big chore to us except the fun part ofcourse. I could go on with this writeup but I think it's too early to bore anyone with a post as long as this.

Well, noone can spend your time if you don't allow it so watch who you let to use your time for you, maybe you're binge watching money heist, good luck with that, I just hope you're able to slip your career plan into it a few times so you'll be able to move ahead.

Update your wifi driver.

If your wireless card is accessible at the back of the laptop like most fairly old laptops. Use screw driver to open the mini door and re insert the card.

I'll try to check it, if not I'll just get an engineer jare... thank you so much.

get an original windows 10 installer CD. Updating via wifi the file is about 5gb or so d cd option is better.

Have you seen shutter island? (2010) Just saw it last night, that movie is twisted and a great mind fück.. they had the man doubting his sanity. Hats off to DiCaprio and Ruffalo for their performances. I’ll rate it 8/10

I've read some nice reviews about it here... I'll download it tonight or tomorrow, just being lazy to search.. I haven't seen Ruffalo in a movie except marvel universe make I see as e go be sef.

to be honest, they tried to move the movie away from joker, suicide squad and the dceu, they still failed jare.
I can't even start to rate the movie, as much as I crush on Margot... the movie was actually disappointing.

I wasn't impressed at all, seems to be like they just want to do a female version of suicide squad, as usual, the story was meh.

So what is your definition a good plot (mind you for an all out action thriller)?
As far as am concern Extraction has a very simple plot, simple does not mean its weak.

from the John Wicks to the Mad Maxs, Raids, Dredds, you need a very simple plot and intense action, simple plots have done the magic for action packed movies for years, same with video games.
if you only watch movies because plots stick to drama series.

well, this is your opinion.


I don't really have a genre, I watch movies to relax, so anyone I catch that's interesting, I watch, be it Horror, drama, anyone so far it is interesting and intense.

lol, common, it's actually a very emotional movie, it's very boring if you're not into the drama only kind, no romance or action, and very little funny moments, so you may not like it.


it's a nice movie though, just don't let the hype fool you.




EXTRACTION 2020:- 5/10

I watched "EXTRACTION", common people, this movie have one of the weakest plot I've ever seen in a movie, they just basically tried to jump to the action part of the movie in no time at all, the acting was just there, it just shows people just like to see a famous actor with a gun in his hands.

side note: it seems all the movies I've seen from Netflix with the lead actor as a producer turn out to be below expectations, with the exception of Dolemite, the rest seems to be just "meh".

You've just awoken some deep memories within me. I watched this movie circa 2005 and loved it to bits back then. Used to vibe to Hardball by Lil Bow Wow Ft. Lil Wayne, Lil Zane and Sammie which was its OST.

Hard to dive deep into my music archive in my HDD to fish out the song and blast it in my room tonight. Good memories. When "you know who" (let me not mention name to avoid spoiling it) died towards the end, I cried silently back then. It really touched me.

Damn, I love this movie. For old times sake, I'll look for it and download it again. Don't care about its low rating.

it's a very fine movie, I don't understand the ratings of most movies sometime sef.

I've actually seen the movie long ago, I just have this nostalgic urge to watch it again, and I can't seem to find it.
