someone in 300L should know what to do. He should study hard, no one can help him but himself. He should write first class GP for the remaining semesters he has in school, after that, he'll know if it's possible. If he's thinking about giving up, he shouldn't, it won't be easy but it's worth a shot.

O.P. don't give up and keep studying hard.


by the way, I see you asked something like this last year and your result didn't improve, I'm not judging you. I just want you to know no one except you can help you. You can find study buddies in school, read your note out loud and record them, play it back often when your mind wanders too much. You'll see a massive improvement in your studies, read before and after class.
lastly, don't let anyone convince you that school isn't for you, it's better to have a degree and not need it than needing a degree and not having it.

Over the years, i have learnt to be neutral on ASUU vs FG saga, both parties are problem to Nigeria university sub-sector.

FG do not value education so does ASUU. About an alternative to strike? In 2019 ASUU were on strike and it was weeks to elections, ASUU were approached by INEC and they accepted to conduct the general elections, that period was a golden opportunity ASUU had to get atleast 50% of their demands met, but they showed that they were more of politicians than academicians.

Strike does not take anything away from the goverment, Buhari might decide to allow ASUU go on strike for the remaining three years of second term and nothing will happen, who bears the finally lose? Students and jnr Lecturers whose salaries will be withheld, ask any lecturer, pressure is on ASUU president from his members to call of the strike so they can be paid.

In Nigeria public universities, strike remains the most unthought option.

I love the way you think... especially the election part, ASUU list a golden opportunity to hold the FG, FG would have been forced to make a sweet deal with ASUU because politicians will do anything to get to office but ASUU lost that by partaking in that election, now FG could care less..

They could hold a meeting with Labour in less than a week but won't meet with ASUU after months of strike? that's an insult to everyone in education. This country is lost to clueless, selfish and stubborn leaders.

Here, exercise is a big deal. As earliy as 5am or late in the evening, you'll see even the elderly engaging in exercise. In the parks, there are free exercise equipments too although not as sophisticated as the gym.

Theses are pictures from the new school. After first period, they all come out and a song is played and they choreograph to it. 11am, they go home for lunch.

When I taught kindergaten, theirs was every morning. 11am, lunch, then they sleep till 2pm

I just want to answer your question, it's not a waste of time. You can't know what the future holds, you may end up abroad and back in Nigeria to lead a government agency, you will not be allowed. Remember Kemi Adeosun, I'm sure she felt the same as well (thinking she's based in UK and doesn't need to serve), but she later had to resign as minister of finance, remember the scandal it caused her.

it's better to have an NYSC certificate and not need it, than need it and not have it.

just focus fully on the opening of their border, time will help in this matter and a year from now, I'm believing things would have been better, you'll just keep saving money as WhyNa suggested.

if you really wish to document your story, try to open a blog, a private one, that way you can save your story for life.

I really commend you, a part of me wishes you to stay but that will be very selfish. I hate toxic people, I hate drama, I run away from it and my life has been very peaceful. I saw this last year and wrote this short poem about it.

For goodness sake, why are we thinking about elections when there's much to do.

Educational sector is grounded, many youths are idle. Many workers are suffering, millions of citizens are going through what is probably the hardest time of their lives, yet we are being promised free and fair election.

Our "president" isn't addressing us any longer, we only keep getting "livescores" from NCDC, nothing else, no plan shown about how to combat what has stall an economy that was crawling.
Politicians make election their priority and nobody seems to challenge them, they just ride around in their comfort. Millions of naira in account, doing absolutely nothing.

Yet, many youths here keep praising and fighting over this said politicians, it is a big shame on us all..

she has answered the real question that anyone with a determined mind needs to know, answers about the process, your budget, how work can be gotten and the likes but you're there expecting people to spoon-feed you, you're on your own.

This entitlement mentality will get you nowhere, like, let people be, let them do how they please. It may upset you, speak and move on, unnecessarily challenging people for what they don't want to do for YOU makes you look needy.
Learn to engage a little and move on.

Go to YOUR Canadian thread or others and leave someone's life alone, it is HER private life, she does this at her will and will be done at her pace.

I want to ask on how you stay behind, I'm asking for the story, I mean, if I want to come for masters, how easy can I stay behind you get a work permit for jobs and stuffs.

Guy you are funny. The Daniel guy has spent 7 year in Germany before creating that tread, @WhyNa is barely 6 months in Vietnam she can not post beyond her experience unless you want her to dish out informations she is not certain about.

She has given us update so far unless you want her to come everyday and post what she just ate or how she brush her teeth. I guess she must be settling into her new job and apartment. Any new update she will surly share with us.

For now, lets share our research findings and ask her questions where necessary.

For me, FPT University gave me admission and I have 1 month to pay the tuition fee na the matter I dey try settle oh, lol. No money to pay but God no go shame us.

International passport is great, just make sure the picture is clear and it shows your data page fully, no side should be cropped out.

and no, no issues at all..

so far the 2 names are included in the names on the passport.

when you get your first time project, you'll be asked to verify. The verification also comes randomly sometimes, but you'll definitely verify after getting your first job, they'll give you a week to verify after which they'll suspend your account and hold your money that's with them, though, you'll still be free to complete the job you got, but you'll not be able to bid for projects after the 1 week lapse, till you verify that account.

my feeds will give you all the jobs as they come in, while, recommended will select a few that suits your profile...


so it's basically the same, one is just filtered.

my feeds is better though, you'll get to decide which project to apply, not just from selected few but from all of them.

make sure you take their certification courses as well, take the exams and make sure you pass them, that way you can link your certificate to your Upwork profile, that's an added advantage, it also shows you know what you're doing.
