For goodness sake, why are we thinking about elections when there's much to do.

Educational sector is grounded, many youths are idle. Many workers are suffering, millions of citizens are going through what is probably the hardest time of their lives, yet we are being promised free and fair election.

Our "president" isn't addressing us any longer, we only keep getting "livescores" from NCDC, nothing else, no plan shown about how to combat what has stall an economy that was crawling.
Politicians make election their priority and nobody seems to challenge them, they just ride around in their comfort. Millions of naira in account, doing absolutely nothing.

Yet, many youths here keep praising and fighting over this said politicians, it is a big shame on us all..

But this one is different. She is acting strange and I sure know that she want to run the package for people here as their agent hence she is evading questions.

Go through the thread and see so many questions unanswered.

The only thing I'll say is, you have a bad mentality, an entitlement mindset. If she refuses to share what she knows, so what? I've read through her posts and seen that she did the background information herself and she was fortunate to come across that agent. I've read her post for many pages and seen her on a lot thread as far back as 2014/2015 and stuffs, by the way, she just got to Vietnam this year.

she has answered the real question that anyone with a determined mind needs to know, answers about the process, your budget, how work can be gotten and the likes but you're there expecting people to spoon-feed you, you're on your own.

This entitlement mentality will get you nowhere, like, let people be, let them do how they please. It may upset you, speak and move on, unnecessarily challenging people for what they don't want to do for YOU makes you look needy.
Learn to engage a little and move on.

Go to YOUR Canadian thread or others and leave someone's life alone, it is HER private life, she does this at her will and will be done at her pace.

I want to ask on how you stay behind, I'm asking for the story, I mean, if I want to come for masters, how easy can I stay behind you get a work permit for jobs and stuffs.

I also have a family friend over there that we're really close to, of I could get him to send an invitation letter, would I need the block account?

Guy you are funny. The Daniel guy has spent 7 year in Germany before creating that tread, @WhyNa is barely 6 months in Vietnam she can not post beyond her experience unless you want her to dish out informations she is not certain about.

She has given us update so far unless you want her to come everyday and post what she just ate or how she brush her teeth. I guess she must be settling into her new job and apartment. Any new update she will surly share with us.

For now, lets share our research findings and ask her questions where necessary.

For me, FPT University gave me admission and I have 1 month to pay the tuition fee na the matter I dey try settle oh, lol. No money to pay but God no go shame us.

Also, the name written on my passport is UWADIAE VALENTINE OSASENAGA but I registered my upwork account with just my last name and first name which is: VALENTINE UWADIAE... Hope no issues with that ??

International passport is great, just make sure the picture is clear and it shows your data page fully, no side should be cropped out.

and no, no issues at all..

so far the 2 names are included in the names on the passport.

when you get your first time project, you'll be asked to verify. The verification also comes randomly sometimes, but you'll definitely verify after getting your first job, they'll give you a week to verify after which they'll suspend your account and hold your money that's with them, though, you'll still be free to complete the job you got, but you'll not be able to bid for projects after the 1 week lapse, till you verify that account.

my feeds will give you all the jobs as they come in, while, recommended will select a few that suits your profile...


so it's basically the same, one is just filtered.

my feeds is better though, you'll get to decide which project to apply, not just from selected few but from all of them.

they have marketing, software, and many more courses.
make sure you take their certification courses as well, take the exams and make sure you pass them, that way you can link your certificate to your Upwork profile, that's an added advantage, it also shows you know what you're doing.

just chill, everyone has his own race, that shouldn't deter you. Focus on YOU, there's no competition. Just research more, there are blogs about freelancing, go to google and search so that whenever you create, you'll be fully ready.





I'll keep saying, patience is KEY. Some were fortunate to get a job under their first week, others waited a few months. You just have to keep trying.

Even their service charge 20% is on the high side. The only good thing about them is that you'll see enough jobs to apply to.

well, you have to keep trying, I opened an account and within 2 weeks of my first job proposal, I got 2 jobs of $60, I don't think you can get that as a starter on Fiverr with 2 jobs.

search Google on how to make an Upwork cover letter. you will see many samples online, I've gotten a couple of jobs with the samples and it built my profile, the most important thing is just the first job.
Give your all for that first job to get a good review and your every other job, be patient as well.

I applied an average of 2 jobs a day with my proposal well written, I did not copy and paste, I read the instructions and follow up the details. I even got rejected once because I didn't follow somethings on the job post.

I'm just saying, the most important thing is learning how to write a cover letter and not just applying for any project you see, that way your connect will get exhausted.

driver's license, national ID card or voter's card, international passport.
these are the ones you need, if you run a Nigerian account. just have one of these and you're good to go, also, you will go through a video call verification but that one no hard.
I don't know about foreign account.

Hilarious movie!

I give the soundtracks 9/10 for being so super dope, 9/10 for the colourful and stunning visuals, 8.5 for very cool stunts and fight sequences, 7.5 for the laughs and 6 for the storyline. Yes, women can be strong and independent, yeah we get it. It is a man's world but it is nothing without women. It's so cliche.

In all, very, VERY entertaining. Definitely worth a rewatch.
