But I thought some people claimed to be progressives and claimed they vote individuals and not political parties. Then, it was confirmed that Jimi Agbaje was a better candidate. Yet, and again, what happened? |
As for me money can't buy these things. |
I hope this Buhari will not disappoint. Maybe, you all have forgotten that this man could not boast of any project in his name back 1983 - 1985. The expectation is high but.. |
Maybe, on how to move Nigeria forward. |
Nice that you two are calm. |
@Oilkid and Egovinmma, pls lets stop the insult. We can still make our views and such views must be respected no matter how silly one may see it. You only need to counter it with stronger view and not insult. |
But you have forgotten who Diezeni's husband is? He is former Naval Chief and Military Administrator. Bring your evidence and state your case, and if she's guilty deal with her accordingly but remember past and other corrupt politicians. Deal with them too and don't be selective. |
Why the insult? We can still make our points free of abuse. Let it stop. |
Ngozi Okonjo Iwela will not even serve in Buhari's government even if you give her all the gold of this world. She is a great woman and I visit them often. So, I know her very well and what she can do. |
The fact is here below Ondo: APC:299,889 PDP:251,368 Osun APC:383,603 PDP:249,929 Osun APC:383,603 PDP:249,929 Oyo APC:528,620 PDP:303,376 Anambra APC:17,926 PDP:660,762 Enugu APC:14,157 PDP:553,003 Imo APC: 133,253 PDP: 559,185 Kano APC:1,903,999 PDP:215,779 Kaduna APC:1,127,760 PDP:484,085 As for Lagos State, South Easterners votes for PDP in Lagos closed the gap. The evidence here can be more explained with the votes Igbo candidates for House of Rep under PDP where they defeated their Yoruba opponents in APC in Lagos. Igbo candidates also won some seats in Kanu and Kaduna just as in Lagos. So, majority votes Jonathan got in Kanu and Kaduna came from Igbos. |
This only shows that once Igbos says they are with you, they remain with you and no betrayal. I like the firmness and confidence and you can always count on them. No double game. |
Can money buy all these listed below? But I have my reservations on nos 26, 47, 48 1. Respect 2. Well-adjusted kids 3. Work-life balance 4. Natural beauty 5. Manners 6. Common sense 7. But First Lady Patience tolerated all the insults heaped on her husband by Nigerians. Lets pray Aisha overcome the test. |
Jonathan should allow his party follow due process. The outpouring of praises is now the focus point to maintain. The reason Jonathan is accepting everything now. Though, it's good but let him not sacrifice his strong supporters for commendations. |
Did i not warn that post election comments is what will trigger violence and people are busy insulting others. Don't pray for violence. |
But are you still going to bash me for being a Catholic faithful and practicing what I believe in? We watch our comments. |
digitalsha:But my own blood is presently a Commander fighting boko haram in Borno, and am Igbo and so have nothing to do with bloodthirsty boko haram. I only offered advise to our youths to watch their words. |
While we celebrate Igbos that won some seats, but this celebration must dignify the host, and by this they may even encourage and vote for us in future elections. |
Jonathan defeated Buhari in 2011 but never received congratulatory message from Buhari, instead many innocent Nigerians lost their lives because he could not concede defeat. Today Buhari defeated that same man that won him in 2011, and received a congratulatory message from Jonathan, and saved the lives of many Nigerians. Who is the true change here? Who is the right man to emulate here? These questions are begging for answers. |
Nigeria and their blame game. All regions voted based on what they believed in and no region need to offer an apology for voting a candidate they could trust. |
BuddahMonk:Am Igbo, but this kind of comment I detest. |
kastonkastrol:With collective resolve, everything is possible, and Agbaje may have it. |
So, this Igbo factor may work in favour of Jimi Agbaje because many Yorubas that voted for Buhar will definitely go for Agbaje plus Igbo votes. Jimi Agbaje lost his ward to APC during Presidential Election, but it will be difficult to lose it again because his own people will surely go for him. Anyway, it is going to be 50-50 considering the small margin APC used to defeat PDP in the last election. |
Well, my warning still remain that our youths must stop abusing those that voted Jonathan. Because your candidate won does not make you smarter, and majority not always right. Let us promote peace and not hatred. It is left to Buhari to convince Igbos and others that he should be trusted. Obama contested with McCain but both supporters were happy that Americans won at last. Obama supporters didn't abuse McCain Supporters. Anyway, many Nigerian youths need to grow up. Boasting to destroy others does not make sense because I witnessed Ukraine and Pro-Russian war when I was in Ukraine. Infact, I return to Nigeria as a result of that war. I left my job in Ukraine as a Translator/Interpreter in German Embassy in Ukraine. I would have been a victim of Ukrainian war if not my fluency in German language. War is not good. |
I got a Call now and the Militants are claiming they are facing constant abuse by the same people that ganged up against them. They are threatening them, and so have decided to meet them at the battlefield. This is the reason I warned that our youths must be careful because the way Buhari supporters are abusing those that voted Jonathan might trigger "we no gree again." It is not a crime to vote for any candidate of your choice but our utterances may destroy Nigeria, and all those boasting Buhari will destroy this and that will realize that war is not as easy as they think. The election has come and gone peacefully but post election comments suppose to douse tension, instead many youths want to set Nigeria on fire ignorantly through their utterances. They don't know the harm they are about to cause to Nigeria as a result of abusing and threatening other regions that voted Jonathan based on their convictions. Everybody must not vote for one candidate. You don't have the power yet. http://www.citinewstv.com/2015/04/asari-mobilizing-and-5000-militants.html?m=1

It is not a crime to vote for any candidate of your choice but our utterances may destroy Nigeria, and all those boasting Buhari will destroy this and that will realize that war is not as easy as they think. |
While foreigners are proud of Jonathan, Nigerians do not value what they have in Jonathan. They abuse Jonathan here at home. |

Miiko, and others that lost didn't betray GEJ. They tried their best. Fayose is great to have delivered his State. Mimiko and others fought hard but the people had already made up their minds. |
But Jega never announced the result when Orubebe started raking. |
Pebcak:Stop abusing your serving President. Others may do to Buhari same way. It's wrong. |
