Jesus Christ was jew and not a Christian. He's the author of our faith doesn't make Him one of us. Being Jewish doesn't equate to the fact that your religion is Judaism because that's the misunderstanding that'd make one confused. There are jewish Christians for example. It's like me being Nigerian and a Christian.

Being Christian is more like an identity thing, if there was a way we could be identified as Christ followers without attaching a name to it we'd still remain His and make heaven.
