Farki: Their problem since they have chosen to advance their knowledge of Arabic tales by the moonlight rather than anything useful to their population. In the end they will be killing themselves in their own states.
China and Russia, America's main enemies, aren't banned, Saudi Arabia that sponsors terrorism isn't banned those bans have nothing to do with security. How many companies have advisory notices warning against travel to cities in China or Russia? Insecurity is a big factor. It's in everyone's best interest for Northern Nigeria to make progress. |

einsteine: We are supposed to accept your figures and not mine, on what basis?
Even at that, you stated that ANYONE (25% is not anyone, especially given that the average i-managed-to-graduate is not going to be applying to LSE). Also, where is your admission letter?
Trust me, funding is not a problem. If you can get admitted, there is a plethora of options (scholarships, loans) available. If you are from Nigeria, funding is even easier. There are a ton of scholarships you can access once you get admission into an elite school. Google is your friend, the reference figures are available online. What a joker. |
Career › Re: Meet Rukaiya El-Rufai, The First PwC Female Northerner Partner by tot(f): 4:11pm On Jul 17, 2020 |
einsteine: Anyone? Where is your admission letter?
LSE has an acceptance rate of less than 7% and that's despite a high degree of self selection.
For those who don't know what self selection is, in this context, it means that only those who feel they are good enough to attend LSE would apply and even at that, only 7% or less get their admission.
P. S. Funding is never a problem to attend LSE. Stop quoting inaccurate figures. --> Popularly known as LSE, London School of Economics and Political Science is one of the most renowned educational institutions of the world. The acceptance rate of the university is only 8.9% for undergraduate applicants. However, the acceptance rate for graduate applicants is higher, i.e., 25%.Her undergraduate was at ABU so that 8.9% does not apply to her. Funding is never a problem indeed. You must be living in another planet I guess. |

Farki: The problem isn't a lack of love it's a lack of jobs and proper education.
I don't know what Islamic education hopes to achieve in developing Zamfara.
Anyways it's their state their problem. It's everyone's problem because when Nigeria is placed on certain banned lists due to insecurity, it affects everyone. My issue with this is the use of STATE FUNDS. If an individual sponsored it, it's a different case but money that should be put into governance being spent in this manner is just wrong. |

travelwaka: There are different room sizes the funny thing is most people rent those houses for parties if you want a stay over there is a much standard hotel setting which I would advise if you are doing a night visit. These beach houses are mostly used for parties. Haha! No wonder Makes sense now. Thanks a bunch. Will be in touch when ready. |

travelwaka: Hi Petyprincess and tot thanks for the observation I had to remove the picture, the reason I posted it was just to have a feel of the room, I have over 400 pictures from Ilashe, I am will update the post with more better pictures stay tuned. Also most of the time if there are no events these houses are usually locked up, sometimes for months, so once you book the whole place will be cleaned up also most of the time the houses are used for parties and if you have ever attended a beach party you'd know that it gets pretty crazy. That particular room hasn't been used for a while I posted the picture because I love the wood finishing. Thanks for the clarification. The other pictures are nice which was why I was surprised by that particular one. Do you know if all the rooms are the same or do they have different categories / more expensive, nicer looking ones? |

Litmus: Why cant Kano, Lagos, Anambra, PortHarcourt, Wari or wherever just be huge commercial hubs in Nigeria, instead of this seeming to want one place to fall so another would rise ? Exactly. That's the direction things should go for this country to move forward. All regions being developed and making strides in their own capacities. |
