They should build more prisons then because all those danfo drivers and OK Ada riders and some other drivers are going in if they truly make good the law.

Hmmm wife indeed. It is by their dressing we can tell what they can do and not do. Just look at that then tell me what is left for the husband to see alone. Men should stop marrying for material sake and ask relevant questions about a woman as it used to be in the olden days or else they will end up in regrets.

There's is nothing like a real man or perfect man. The only way to avoid a cheating husband is to marry a Dundee united or a complete zombie.

He had better stay there. No need to come back home after calling the people he is leading criminals. So himself is a criminal then. What an unguarded comment coming from a so called leader.
President of criminals that is.

Sometimes I wonder how we end up with these type of leaders when we have the best brains in the world. Truly this federalism is not working it is only serving the interest of a section of the country and this has given then the boldness to do whatever they like. They even stylishly call themselves born to rule. What an insult on the sensibilities of the rest of us.

Please the media should stop encouraging these type of things by showing them in the news media. What is there to learn that an elderly man takes on a teenage girls to wreck her life in the name of marriage. Now the list is fast growing from Yerima to Oshio, to Sanusi to Audu, now Tambuwal.

The two of them have ruled this nation as military and democratic leaders as though Nigeria lacks quality human beings.

If these half educated bunch is all we can come up with then it is a big shame on all of us, what exactly can they say now that their long rule have given to Nigeria what legacies can we link to them.

By the grace of God soon another sergeant Rogers will be raised that will tell the true story how this Cjibok girls issue happened
Maybe that day will be the day of revelations, how a few people have held this nation down for so long even those parading themselves as messiahs of our time.

Politics › Re: Not Easy To Get Evidence To Probe Diezani - Buhari by totorimi: 4:43am On Feb 06, 2016
...but why is this Buhari like thus. Without a Tg thorough investigation you malign a person character. This is the same approach when he was a military dictator, hounding everybody into jail, this is not fair.
If this man doesn't start implementing his campaign promises after one year in office, Nigerians must start to demand for it. We are no more fools, you can just take power and telling stories how Nigerians are corrupt yet you have not prosecuted a single corrupt person.

The mere fact that every passenger on board survived indicates that she is capable and dependable hand in the cockpit.

It was a man who flew the previous one that crashed and killed some people.
In a nation where everything is being managed due poor economy. Highly complex technology like helicopters that require detailed a thorough maintenance that comes at huge cost will most certainly be compromised.

Its just the way we are. That minister of aviation I hope he does understand the job he has taken on and sharpen up his thinking cap. This sector is not a case of clutching his hands behind his back and mopping around like a zombie. He hasn't got all the time because delay can come at a very huge cost.

Celebrities › Re: Wizkid's Babymama Binta Diallo Gushes About Being Pregnant With His Baby by totorimi: 6:36am On Feb 05, 2016
Now I can see clearly how the devil operates, he gives sin a stylish name to make it look alright.
When we were growing up if a girl gets pregnant outside wedlock it brings shame to the family it was akin to stealing then. There was no word like babymama or babypapa. I don't know who imported that into our world . Today, a girl is shamelessly proud to display her immoral affair pregnancy and the world celebrates and the immorality gains more ground.
I know many ladies today that have seen this as a normal thing and even their parents welcomes it.
I once saw a guy asking a visibly pregnant woman if he can be her babypapa and I was wondering what the world has turn.

No matter how much bad is justified it still remains bad. When I tried to find out what indeed this babymama thing is all about I discovered that it was really an industry on its own . A woman is contracted to just have a child for someone and she is handsomely paid off and the man takes the child. In some other cases the woman is financially ok , she hooks up an unsuspecting young fella who pregnates her and the woman moves on.
The other aspect I found was innocent girls lured into prostitution or runz as they call it and then gets pregnant, then she is left to cater alone for the child.

The underlying factor in all this is that the affected woman is just used and dumped. A glorified method of abuse of women.
who suffers in all of these, the child
The child grows up knowing only one of the parents. In some cases the woman has been known to tell the child that the father died when he or she was very small meanwhile the man could be alive somewhere.
This portends a dangerous trend for the future especially bearing the fact that people these days get married online without going to the roots to find out about their partners. It may seem this is the new order and nothing can be done to stop it as some governments of the world have subtlety endorsed it.
For us in Nigeria we must ensure that we preserve our cherished value systems, that's what we've got to keep, that's what makes up special that's our pride and our heritage.
Politics › Re: Recent Supreme Court Judgements - International Embarrassment by totorimi: 7:37am On Feb 04, 2016
Mixty:
I am not an APC groupie. Neither am I a PDP zombie. I have been a strong critic of the Buhari govt. I have opened threads to lambast the current APC government.

However. The truth must be told. It is shameful that the supreme court will affirm elections that both the national and international communities have condemned for the mindless rigging that the marred the election.

Two case studies are the Rivers and akwa ibom state governorship elections that were marred with electoral malpractices. both the tribunal and the court of appeal validated the fact thar bothe elections were rigged without an iota of conscience. yet the supreme court shamelessly validated those rigged elections to the surprise of Nigerians and the world at last.

The supreme court judgement of late has become a national and international embarrassment. And our highest court in the land is beginning to lose their reputation.

The supreme court is beginning to emerge as the greaest threat to free and fair elections in Nigeria.

Mixty
It is not any embarrassment if at all it goes to show our judiciary not to be partisan and incorruptible.

If any election should be termed as embarrassment it was the presidential election that showed the world where underaged were voting. Yet in order not to truncate our nascent democracy GEJ overlooked it and let it be. Something that even Bihari will not agree to or any of our past leaders.
Politics › Re: Video: 15 Years After, Major Hamza Al-mustapha Speaks Up" by totorimi: 7:19am On Feb 04, 2016
why is it that humans beings never learn. if after all the wickedness and blood letting it all ends in our own death one day in one way or the other then why all the thoughtlessness as though we will live forever.

Where is Is I Amin today, where is Abacha, where is Ghaddafi, Saddam Hussein, Botha, khomeni, and all of them too many to list.
After all the power and money and fame so we will surely abandon everything and go alone back to dust. So then why can't those people who are alive learn how yo act, speak or treat others knowing that surely they too must go someday. Takes indeed a man who truly fears God and obeys Him to lead a country.
Politics › Re: Video: Pat Utomi Boldly Say To Buhari To Keep Quiet If He Has Nothing To Say by totorimi: 3:46am On Feb 04, 2016
This is the very problem I have with our elites in this country. You follow them at your own risk. Was it not this prof that was quoted earlier when this Bihari was picking his appointees from the north, he said the president was at liberty to appoint all his ministers from one local government. but our constitution says otherwise. Now he is saying the same Bihari should not talk in matters he knows nothing about.

Well all I can say everybody is a political animal, everyone is pursuing an interest so anyone is at liberty to say anything only them know what they are targeting. As for me Nigeria either make it together or we break it together.

handie:
No one will insinuate executive interference or some grand APC plot to decimate the opposition now that the supreme court judgments are actually favoring the PDP even when some of d judgments are incomprehensible(Rivers where even the blind knows the elections were massively manipulated and even Wike was this close to throwing in the towel). If PDP lose a case now, all hell will be let loose. We'll start hearing things like, Buhari is a dictator, Fayose will be releasing press statements, FFK will be tweeting, Femi Aribisala will be writing articles. What do u guys really want?
Was the general election that brought in PMB normal? didn't you see minors Coting in the video footages.Did the PDP go to court or even challenge the validity of the election? all just for peace to reign.

So please don't even bring that lame argument at all. The dictatorial tendencies being exhibited by the APC led govt at the centre is quite glaring and that is what we are wailing about.

Bristow helicopters again, this must be poor maintenance standards it cannot be anything else, maybe they can't pay their experts again so they resort to cheap labour due to poor economic situation.
O Lord save your innocent children looking for daily bread from blood thirsty and greedy employers.

Is it by disrupting traffic on Abuja street or by displaying macho man. They should carry themselves to Sambisa where they are mostly needed to route out the insurgents and free our Chibok girls.
All this one they are doing na wash, just intimidating civilians, they should go and face their match in the forest period.
