Hey mamas, good evening.

Please for those of us in 37/38 weeks, please did you guys experience this painful cramps? From way below my belle, i experienced this contraction that wants to tear my pelvis. Like a strong pull down there.

I had it all thru last night, comes and go. I only slept when it stopped and i wake immediately it starts, all thru last night o and continued all thru today, couldn't sleep. Although it got better this afternoon but immediately i cooked, it came back.

I complained about my spotting to my gynae on Tuesday , after all, he said i was ok and it is to be expected. Although it stopped sha and i think i saw it again yesterday but he said i should come running if i start leaking water or see bright red blood.

Please answer o. I beg you

Teamie,going thru d same thing oo without spotting tho. Mine gets so painful dat I won't be able to do anything dat period. I complained at my last Anc cos I can't remember having it dis painful with my other children. My doctor said baby is preparing to come but no one knows aw soon. Dat am aving pre-Labour contractions and I should let him know if it gets worse or if i see d bloody show(my water doesn't burst on its own,dey av to break it wen am about to push).

Am feeling better,my dear Cappo and d contractions are under control. Thank God.baby has to wait till at least 38 weeks,40 weeks would be just great. God will make it easy for us and d long 9months will end in praise for us all.

I remember I had this during my first pregnancy. but closer to delivery I was told it was my body preparing for labour. And I wasn't given anything as well. It got better though then returned some days to labour. It was just on n off till labour for me. But like u were told, monitor d contractions n find ur way to d hospital if u notice more frequent contractions. Take care

Good afternoon mamas, mbok help a novice.
How do I get DH to do the do? I've talked to him severally about the necessity, I even picked up a fight cos of it, he pleaded that he's scared of injuring me or causing any discomfort. He sha said I should give him time to gather courage, he does all the pre-intimacy but refuse to penetrate.

Abeg if we eventually end up not doing enough kpekus till childbirth, will it affect me during labour cos I heard having sex aids labour.

D kind of pain I feel in my vagina ehn,only Labour pain senior am.

Pls helep me ooo. I've been purging since Sunday. Like 6 times in a day,not getting better and not getting worse. What can i use. Dey won't give me drugs cos of d contractions dat I've been having,just said I should monitor d contractions and find my way to d hospital if it gets worse. 35weeks already.

Abi ooo. I pity her so much. She has been miserable since d day she heard her child is a girl. She said her husband told her dat her 1st child must be a boy as d man is from a Royal family and he's d ist born of d family.only ist borns can be future king and it will not get to his family in his own generation but his children's generation.So having a girl means dat his family will not rule in d next 5 generations. Is it by force to rule,rubbish and nonsense.

I just told d woman dat God will help u ooo someone dat has been suffering 4rm ms since she became pregnant till almost 30 weeks now. Scan said she's carrying a girl but husband said it must be a boy

Lols. It's not d doctors fault oo,dear. They do it to encourage Labour to start and I think it's a good way of helping mothers. As 4 me,my babies will just sit and be enjoying demselves even after 40 weeks untill dey do membrane sweep for me and dey usually arrive maximum of 48hours after.

Yes dear. That is how dey check.the no of fingers dat can go in easily shows how dilated u 're. Painful sha,I'm not sure u will know if its painful cos d only thing on ur mind at dat period is to get baby out. Membrane sweep is painful tho cos by den d cervix has not even started dilating and u might not be in Labour pain.

BA. To the glory of almighty God i welcomed my prince and princess at 35weeks via emergency cs on 27th february. Babies are doing perfectly okay and are back home with my mum. Am presently been tranfused. Lost so much blood. Mamas please join in thanking almighty God despite all odds i still came out victorious. Birthstory coming soon once am out and strong again. Mamas pls I have a very serious issue at hand and it's affecting my mental health. I had my baby 5weeks,3days ago and I was given a cut which was stitched imm baby came out but I've not been healing up. During bowel movements, I noticed my stool is always hard and have to be forced out. D main issue now is that my episiotomy site still hurts like hell, so I summoned some courage to check it out and found that d site is actually swollen with some lumps and extra flesh around it, there's even an open wound close to d vjay sef would have love to post pics but I don't want to corrupt d virgins on dis thread

Pls feed our baby well ooo,He's innocent here,blame d kpekus of dat day.U should go back to d hospital cos of d open wound,pls complain to ur doctor or a gynae and let dem check it. i pray d open wound is not from a loosed stitch cos if it is,dey might want to re-stitch d place.Hope u started sitting in warm salt water after d episiotomy was done.dat really helped me a lot especially with my 2nd dat gave me a 3rd degree tear.

Thank you so much, my prenatals were not increased and i did not do any malaria test. Besides mine is 4tablets as a dose and twice daily, i.e 8tablets in 24hours.

Really,8tablets daily?Are we talking about d same clartem. Yellow fat drug oo,bigger but same long shape with panadol. Composition is Arthemeter Lumenfantrine.if it is same,den u really need to see another doctor.

Please i need help, i got my last routine malaria drug this past week, prescribed and dispensed at my hospital. Started taking it two days ago but i notice i have this allergic reaction to it. The first day i took it, after the first dose, i didn't notice anything. But upon taking the second dose, i woke and had this swelling on my stomach with serious itching, i thought it was something else. I took third dose and it took all my willpower and hubby's encouragement not to scratch my stomach. I had my bath, put ori and was rubbing it, it itched me thru the night.

Name of drug is clartem. Don't know if i should stop as my next appointment is in two weeks.

I was given dis drug at my last Anc and dat was because I had a ++malaria after a malaria test. Dat drug is strong and I don't think it should be given as a routine drug. My doctor actually increased my folic acid and fesolate dose cos he said d drug wuld weaken me and it really did. And I took it for only 3 days,2 tablets daily. Pls complain to ur doctor ASAP.

Blender.
Pick out only d leaves without stick. Wash and Cook with small 'kaun' till it's soft and pour into ur blender. Blend roughly till it draws. u can add ur locust bean with small salt before or after blending.Be sure ur blender can withstand d heat ist ooo so it doesn't crack. Been doing dis for d past 6 years and it always come out great.

my dear it's because I still throw up and I eat only twice a day hence the weight gain not being much..with my first i gained only 4kg through out the 40weeks..i first lost about 10kg before regaining..
please eat o cos we need the strength for delivery..i dunno what to do again self..i sleep hungry most days as eating gives me mad heart burn and serious bloating

May God grant us an easy delivery..cant wait to eat all the foods I've been craving, I'm tempted to even cook them and freeze prior to delivery

My 4 year old does not eat at all oo. I use cypri gold but wish to know anyone that's more effective

My daughter wasn't eating well as at 4years and I was so worried.tried lots of multivitamins but it seemed like dey were not working.i later Met with a pharmacist dat prescribed dynamogen for me. It's an oral solution,small tube,Orange reddish colour. She's five years plus now and eats food 4times in a day with snacks in between but I'm not complaining cos dat was wat I wanted.You can talk to a pharmacist in a reputable pharmacy,they will get u something dat will work for ur baby.

Lols. Mama no need to punch someone. Wen it comes to pregnancy and young children,a lot of pple just feel like dey know best dan u d mother and dat really pisses me off. My 1st daughter started crawling at 7months while my 2nd didnt crawl till 11months,i was doing all d bending of knees,raising of bombom d know-alls were advising and I think I ended up confusing her as she wanted to jump d crawling to go straight to walking. But guess what,dey both started walking at 12months and some days. Just put ur mind at rest,give ur baby balanced diet and enjoy d milestones wen dey come.motherhood on its own is enough stress,don't add more to it for urself oo pls.

That's what our amazing sisters here recommended for me cos I had the same issue.
I squeezed the juice from the raw leaves and mixed with malt and drank. Now my blood lever is just right, in less than a week.
Try it and testify.
