If you have clearly information on this kindly share or anybody who has recently travel with minors below age 11 should furnish us information regarding payment for test kits as it concerns minors.

It depends o you might be lucky another won't be and it depends on your school too.

Someone else too had the same experience, the school simply told her to tell them at the POE that it wasn't sent with her passport, that it wasn't an issue.. Her school also gave her brp card with just her passport/vignette

I wasn't asked by the school either. I just showed my passport and I was given.

Relax, it's not compulsory..I received only my passport without any letter. I was not even asked for it. If you are asked at the port of entry, just tell them simply that it did not come with your passport.

I made some errors in my tier 4 visa application.

Errors:
1. Do you have any person depending on you financially? I said Yes. My husband and daughter are depending on me.

2. Do you have any known name before? I said No. However, I indicated my maiden name on the form

3. Do you know where you will live in the UK. I mentioned the university, but because I have family, I am not permitted to stay in school accommodation. I have however secured a private accommodation.

4. Where do you live presently. I indicated our family house which we neither own nor rent.

All these issues I want to address in a separate letter and attach in my application and upload with my documents but the school representative has advised that I cancel my application because of these errors that I may be refused visa which will affect the school. I have my Visa interview on Tuesday.

Please kindly advice, are these errors enough to get me a visa refusal?

The only error I see is writing your hubz as your dependant because your daughter definitely is.
2.It will still show 'No' even after filling your maiden name..
3. You might not even be asked at the interview. Just tell them about the one you have now if asked, that you changed your mind about school accommodation.
4. How is that a problem?

I do not think it's a problem. When filling the visa form, it will ask you if you've been known by any other name, and you'll write it there. You can also upload your marriage certificate.

If it's self service, nobody in TLS will even ask you for the statement in the first place.

The print date doesn't matter as long as the statement printed covers the required 28-day period before your application submission.

It depends on your school. LSBU insisted that I must show them all the supporting documents(TB Certificate, Bank Statement etc.) for my Visa, before they can issue CAS. University of Nottingham only need the proof of fund to issue CAS while Bournemouth need to see your deposit to issue CAS.

UoN doesn't even need proof of funds..They've started the Tier 4pilot application thing whereby you don't need to show proof of funds.

The school(Uni of Nottingham) immediately updated my payment even before I received debit alert.
The purpose of the deposit was for CAS, thus I wasn't expecting a second confirmation of offer letter. I was sent a Pre-CAS form the next day.

I made a tuition deposit of 4k pounds, but on the confirmation offer I received from the school is stating I paid 3975 pounds, a shortfall of 25pounds.

I dont know what could have led to the shortfall.

I initiated the form A in first bank and I have my telex copy/receipt for 4k pounds, I complained there, they are surprise too.

Whoelse has experience this, and how did you resolve it.

I did..When i complained, I found out that it was the recipient bank that removed the charges and I was advised that going forward, I should add 25pounds to any amount I want to deposit. I had to use my MasterCard to top it up.

A woman in the United Arab Emirates, UAE, is seeking a divorce from her husband of one year for being too kind and showing ‘extreme love’.


This ‘extreme love’ according to her involves him helping with the housework and showering her with gifts.

According to Dailymail, she told a Sharia court in Fujairah that her spouse never argued or yelled at her and was always kind.

Despite his affection, the woman claimed her life was ‘hell’ due to his ‘cruel-free treatment’, according to the English language UAE newspaper, Khaleej Times.

She reportedly complained ‘his love and compassion are so over the top’ and she filed for a split.

The woman told the court: ‘I am choked by his extreme love and affection. He even assisted me in cleaning the house without me asking him.’

According to reports, the woman said the couple never had an argument and the husband did not shout at her during their year-long marriage.



When she complained about his weight, the man even went on a strict regime of dieting and exercise which left him with a broken leg.


But this still did not please the angry wife who still complained of her spouse’s many gifts and compliments, according to local media.

She added: ‘I am eagerly longing for a single day of dispute, but this seems impossible with my romantic husband who always forgave me and showered me with daily gifts.

I repeat, if MUN is expensive, then Canada will be very very and super tough cause these guys ain't expecting you to pay your tuition fee yourself from the wages you make while working in Canada. (you've got to quit a full term to attain that goal).

Some of the landlord's in Ottawa, once they noticed you don't get money from home or sponsor, they will look for an excuse to close the deal.

If you have a friend that lives in Ontario especially Ottawa, Toronto, BC ask them about the standard of living and compare with Newfoundland and Labrador

I only talked about tuition which you disparaged..I put it to you that while some don't pay more than 6k throughout the entire year, some pay up to 32K( aside medicals, insurance and other compulsory payment).. This thread is to garner knowledge.. So please, if you are looking for cheap tuition, MUN is great..but make sure you see the minimum expense form to know if you'll be paying huge non refundable special fees along with your tuition..
