He can try brushing after every meal and gargling with mouthwash. If that doesnt work, see a dentist or doctor in case its a sign of a more serious problem. Or else try eating healthier meals with more fruits and vegetables. Also, reduce soda intake and drink more water. |
ayinba1:what on earth do you think is left to "discover" about Islam? besides, what same type of confidence? Confidence that you'll be a resident in hell therefore you know all the people you're going to meet there? ![]() Think before you talk abeg. |
olabowale:more hell talk. You seem to anticipate hell more than you anticipate heaven. Of course the Muslim paradise isnt for me- what would I do with 75 women? My own paradise no get wastage. Everybody has a valid non- prostituting job there. |
Kobojunkie is a woman.I doubt it. |
Thor:so which medal did you personally win? As an African British, you must be descended from the Celts and Anglo Saxons, not so? Dont tell me your forebears were once strangers to flushing toilets and indoor plumbing. |
Thor:Listen: the shanties in Lagos are far better than anything anyone in your entire lineage has ever had the good fortune to see in those pitholes they sprung from. |
Thor:You're pathetic. Let the spring cleaning start with everyone you hold dear. |
i can foresee alot of trapped nigerians in the west in the future. 50 to 60 yr old naija woman and men existing in a society where u cannot fully come into your own at that age as in you are a reject to society because you are old and a minority. kids don't want to see your ol ass around unlike in naija where elders are respected. oh well. this our generation will be something to watch out for in the next 20 to 30 years. be a bunch of ol ass nigerians all over american nursing homes demanding for eba and pomono problem. I'm looking into the viability of nursing homes mainly for Nigerians abroad. E go happen by God's grace. That 30 million naira wey you dey talk- na for where you wan make most Nigerians in Diaspora find am? No suggest make them begin rob bank for overseas oh. In fact, just yesterday CNN re-aired their documentary on Nigerian 419 scammers and ID thieves, I was told. the way you dey yarn all that kind talk for here, some people fit take out fourth mortgage thinking no other way to survive in naija oh. |
qeemus:nice, but Seun's face supposed dey the cover nah, as e be first edition. Make Julia Roberts/Beyonce/Omotola/Genevieve/Jacky Appiah/Tyra banks/some other celebrity dey hang for im arm Funny yaradua photo though. your second cover is also very impressive. |
besides, they need to do something about their yams which they export abroad. Nigerian yams are far better quality. Some Ghanaian yams can almost break the fork person dey take eat am. |
@ Thor I see that you did not post too many street shots of Lagos, even Lagos can look OK through a high powered telescope or from spacewhat do you mean, even Lagos can look Ok? You're comparing Lagos to those shantytowns you were raised in? |
na wa oh. Ezekiel A Ojo: https://img158.imageshack.us/img158/4527/aphotoshootingvictimrelve3.jpg May he RIP. And may God forgive his killers. |
Nigerian men are in demand in every country they have been on earthvery true. naija guys are great for being there when a woman is on the rebound. They have lots of love to give. |
RichyBlacK:well yeah, if the black guy in question is loaded, in politics, or can at least give the impression that he's either of the two. same ol, same ol. |
lucabrasi:need to be done? All the ones they've been doing have improved their overall condition in what way? They are now at first world level? |
Thor:you're 33 yet lack even the basic sense of a 4 year old? |
Dont know why people lack comprehension skills. No one is forcing any of you to go home, so all this disdain and fear of malaria which never killed you when you lived, ate, shat and grew up in Nigeria but which can suddenly kill you now after getting visa or trekking through the desert, is totally unfounded. Anyway, enough of the hullabaloo. If your application for asylum is dependent on your giving Nigeria a bad name, then good for you. Hope you get the green card you so desperately need, and may you never regret the words coming out of your mouth. geez, folks can sound so stupid in their blind bat mentality. Accident wey never kill all the 100 million wey dey live there, na im spiritualist don tell you say e go kill you as if say accident no dey happen for abroad. This plane crash in Spain from two days ago (where 140 people died)- if na inside Nigeria that one happen, na so Nigerians go dey rain curses everywhere say na the witches for them village dey spoil Nigeria. Grieving families still without news, three days after Madrid crash |
i don't think there was a problem with him not showing emotion, absolutely nothing wrong hez not an emotional person, put it that way and it didnt really mean he gave up i bet his heart was going to be racing all through, but he might not show it!
Its to keep people's spirits up. Watching him made me kind of apprehensive when I saw he looked like he'D already given up on the match.Since we don't use mascots, the coach's face is the next best thing. Anyway, at least we got the silver. ![]() |
I dont know why people arent giving Odimwigie more credit. The guy tried during the first half. He just kind of slowed down after one of the Argentinians nearly knocked him over while struggling for the ball. Obinna was also okay- great dexterity there. The Argentinian replacements all looked like gang members, for some reason. Hard faces and all. |
He did well but he should have shown more emotion during the second half. It was almost like he'd given up, from watching his face. He was too calm, really. Especially compared to the first half, when he was sweating profusely. You could tell he was really fired up then. Even if the boys were losing, he could still have showed some excitement in order to keep everyone's hopes up. The Argentinian coach was jumping up and down the whole time as if he was standing on a hot potato. But everyone did well sha. The heat and humidity might have also exhausted the players. |
the way the Argentinians kept falling down (as usual) almost before anybody even touched them, is so childish. Naijas should have done the same jare. Its not a crime to fall down, is it. Odimwigie also tried though. |
the naija team was somewhat demoralized after that goal. ![]() it was so obvious. anyway, its all good. They tried. |
congrats to Nigeria It wasnt easy but at least the guys tried sha. ![]() imo, Nigeria had better control of the ball. The Argentinians were mainly doing long kicks. Though that could also be important. that Messi sef. |
dada22:I agree. Hope they keep it up oh. Otherwise wetin I go tell these naija abroad cousins wey dey watch am with me. First I talk say e be like say Naija team don tire. Later I dey rejoice say Argentina no chop belleful before match. I come tell them say Naija team na super duper. Make our guys no disgrace me for here oh. ![]() |
4 Play:if thats what you consider brilliant then kudos to you. |
You are very correct about Fashola's call not being meant for me. Its clear you missed most of my points. If you think it is not a biggie for someone abroad to not only uproot themselves but their kids most of whom were born abroad over to Nigeria because Fashola said so regardless of the fact that the situation on the ground is nightmarish, good luck on that. Is it doable? Of course it is. Is it desirable? I think the answer is NO, which is why people will stay put wherever they are. I had a close friend that was here on vacation from Nigeria and when he was flying back, his greatest concern was how to get from the airport to his home in Lekki safely. I mean this guy just took a trip from Nigeria to London and finally to the US, and was about to embark on the return leg of the journey after being away for two weeks in a foreign land and his greatest worry was the few miles journey to his house in his homeland? I guess I am supposed to pretend I didn't hear that. In as much as the bulk of Nigerians living in Nigeria will remain there, the bulk of those in the diaspora will also remain until they gain reasonable assurance that their return will not be an exercise in futility or a total disaster.
Kindly follow my posts on this thread. I said I DO NOT SUPPORT NIGERIANS ABROAD RETURNING HOME. I must have repeated this statement at least three or four times now? |
subice:I wonder oh. |
RichyBlacK:No. Jungle fever/The X factor preceded Obama. |
I dont know too many black people who hate blacks with more intensity than kobojunkie. I attribute his attitude to some serious trauma and possibly low levels of IQ. His moments of clarity are few and far between. |
4 Play:the quote is anything but brilliant. Modern archaeological techniques stress a wider collection of information that has expanded our knowledge of prehistory and rendered neat divisions such as the term 'Stone Age' increasingly obsolete. We now know that the changes in past societies over the millennia were complex and involved multiple factors such as the adoption of agriculture, settlement or religion and that tool use is just one unrepresentative indicator of a society's practices and beliefs.Stone Age describes a primitive way of living, and comparing that time with today's world shows a questionable worldview. Just my opinion oh. You're entitled to yours. |
Kobojunkie:do you have a problem when people dont agree with one another? Why do you always get your knickers in a knot over someone disagreeing with a point of view you feel like supporting? |
they say every day is for the thief but one day is for the owner. |
