otuwe:actually its a draw with Brazil, but mexico may have the advantage of the US market. @blackmamba- some Nollywood movies are also watched in other parts of Africa, so nothing wrong with a little share and share. |
excellent article- quite informative. |
Raining so many praises on her, now, will not encourage the lady to improve her performance. she's trying, but there's still a lot of work to be done. Some rough edges still need to be polished. I really wouldnt compare her to Chinua Achebe at this time. However, others may. |
oyinboaja:well, maybe I heard right or maybe I heard wrong, but I read somewhere that the Kikuyu of Kenya regularly conducted raids on slave caravans passing through their territory. |
I dont know if people are aware of the overall negative effect of their words when they can only respond to inquiries by quoting bible verses that may or may not be relevant. I have nothing aginst quoting the bible, but Jesus himself did not only use bible verses when teaching. He also used stories from nature and common sense, among other things. And as someone pointed out, there is too much hate speech disguised as Christianity. Such speech is nothing more than the Christian version of terrorism. If you live by the sword you will also die by the sword- this is also in the bible. Trying to score brownie points and terrorize people by threatening them with fire and brimstone ( as if God is your personal messenger), accomplishes nothing. A lot of non-Christians actually have a better understanding of Christianity than many so-called Christians. So if your only response to an inquirer about or a mocker of your religion is to threaten thunder, then check yourself. You may not be much better than the person you're preaching to. That's the irony of religion, and a trap for many. |
why isnt this list on the WAEC website, if it's valid? I just checked and it's not there. They should post these results on their website. |
the Igbo version of iru is in long and thin strips. I've forgotten what it's called. |
You need an ice cream machine to make ice cream. If there's no machine available, it would be better if you at least saw the ice cream being made in a machine, so you can get a general idea how to go about it. Basically, you get a simple ice cream recipe ( lots of milk, egg yolks, maybe cream, and sugar. Check the web for an easy recipe). The ingredients have to be mixed and heated. The trick is to continously churn( stir) the ice cream mixture at a very cold/freezing temperature. This is normally done using rock salt and ice cubes. The ice cream mix is normally in one container, which is then put into a bigger container containing the ice cubes and salt. The contents of both containers don't mix- the salt and ice are to maintain the temperature and prevent ice crystals from forming. That way the ice cream can have a creamy texture. I'm sure a simple version of an ice cream machine could probably be made in Nigeria, if people set their minds to it. |
No problem- the kids will grow up one day, and then you can explain to them the reasons behind your decision, if or when they ask. |
well, the long and short of it is: men walk away BECAUSE THEY CAN. That's all there is to it. So at the end of the day, a single man who is so inclined can get any girl(s) pregnant and simply walk away. So sad. |
Definitely Celine Dion. |
what kind of question is this? Why do you need people's permission to cheat on your wife? If the urge catches you and that is your style, then feel free. The after effect and nail biting will come later, if your conscience is still working. Can you say avoid? If you avoid said lady ( no matter the level of attraction), how will you be able to physically perform the act? Your feelings won't last forever, you know. Can you also say snare? You sound like an easy blackmail target. I hope you are rich, because you may end up as the daddy of various babies from various women, at this rate, regardless of birth control. |
