another wahala. |
egbaguy: dad is russian and mum is americando you mean nigerian russian and nigerian american. |
its usually calabars who boast of being best at cooking., that's not a yoruba thing. yoruba women are expected to know how to cook, its not about them saying they can cook because nobody will ask them to begin with, if they can. are you sure you're yoruba? same goes for intimate prowess, no yoruba woman boasts of that. |
well, it doesnt put money in my pocket, so its all one to me. |
I give up. This is the thing i mean. They just don"t seem to get it. But the funny part is even the ones who say they are pro blk. If i was a blk men who posted the opposite topic the response would have been different. Oh well to each their own as they saywhat kind of a term is "pro-black", and why would a black man be saying he's pro-black? sounds d.aft imo. |
macof:omuo is a well known town in ekiti. |
^obviously, its not something you plan to experience, so drop tips for those who will. no need to call names, thank you, just share how your mum did her own. |
PAGAN9JA: That aint the point.on occasion, i'm one of the greatest advocates of people marrying within their own to each their own, i only give my point of view. |
smartchoice: Respond to your mail will you?bro, i told you i cant receive mail from here. what did you want to discuss? |
PAGAN9JA: In the past, it might have taken in minute numbers but was overall diluted by the centuries of breeding among the same stock.it doesnt take centuries plz. within one or two generations (less than 60- 100 years), culturally speaking. and in these days of globalization and change, its hard to predict where anyone will be at any point in time. your "purebreed" may find themselves not even in nigeria and perhaps the only face among a sea of foreign faces, should they remain unmarried then? |
Jaymaestro: Maternal Grandma hated Yorubas but realised my dad's a betta suitor compared to his Igbo counterpartslol, another e-war will soon begin. |
PAGAN9JA: You missed the point.heritage in nigeria is patrilineal, with relatively few exceptions. |
suyu: Actually they have, I know a girl whose mother is yoruba and father hausa and there are othersthey're actually plenty but most likely are hausa, especially if they grew up in the north. Pagan is just trying to spread misinformation. Hausa intermarry a lot, with virtually any tribe. |
hardbody: At this time of the day, my brain needs rebooting. I did not quite understand your post, may i request that you re-couch your question.yes i was. |
PAGAN9JA: You just saw the example of the quoted person.pidgin is a lingua franca not spoken only by mixed people. its origins are from trade between europeans and blacks, not blacks who are mixed tribe. so how does someone speaking pidgin become a big issue like you are making it to be? |
widowers outnumber widows. |
Sunymoore: Then tell that your Ola.... Something to stop ✋ spamming this section too. Because this is Religion section not Christian section. Got that?sir or lady, as you can see, my thread addresses the person in question directly. I did not jump on one of your threads and ask you to warn him, for instance. If you have a problem with Ola. . . something, you are free to discuss it with him or whoever you feel should be involved. he did not say I'm the one who told him to open threads, did he? ![]() My point still remains, can the satanist do himself a favour and keep his anti-bible rants on one thread. na only him no like bible? |
the write up might have been written by someone else and attributed to him. |
. |
the pictures are not clear though. |
PAGAN9JA: Thats the only language left for you.in what way? |
dannytwix: My own strong ehn.. Mumsi - Hausa - Kadunaakwa ibom has ijaw people nah. i guess you're ijaw unless you're more familiar with hausa. |
all4naija: You i d i o t!stop derailing the thread. You can check out the following topic, you should find some help there: https://www.nairaland.com/1483094/thread-those-suffering-depression-anxiety |
all4naija: Okay! Have it to yourselves alone. And, one thing! Don't forget to eat. Racist!this matter is paining you so much, what a pity. misplaced aggression, hope you're not depressed. anyway, I've pulled some some mixed race threads for you, check my previous post. Its really pathetic though, when people throw hissy fits because they're not the centre of attention. |
@ all4naija https://www.nairaland.com/797561/mixed-nigerians-maternal-nigerian-ancestry https://www.nairaland.com/13184/nigeria-got-black-white-people-mulattas https://www.nairaland.com/1532679/growing-up-mixed-race-child https://www.nairaland.com/367564/mixed-race-couples-damn-beautiful https://www.nairaland.com/97432/mixed-heritage-nigerians |
all4naija: OP is biased! Mixed heritage can also include one of the parents being white, yellow or black. Aye!there are threads for nairalanders of mixed races, i can look those up for you. This particular thread is for people who are from different tribes within nigeria. |
Chiamaka01: Aren't there more mixed heritage NLers?imo, mixed nairalanders probably make up about 30%, (could be higher), but most of them prefer to keep low profiles. some non-mixed also pretend to be mixed, for reasons best known to them (it IS nairaland after all, fake monikers/personas are a bit on the high side). |
sandijey: Wow.......she probably does now though. She's learning. |
MissMeiya:you're not of mixed heritage in the context of the thread, if both your parents are from the same tribe. your context would be mixed heritage by nationality, not tribe. |
chukxie: Mom's Esan (Ekpon to be precise) and Dad's from Akwa Ibom. It's fun to have cousins from both sides-- paternal and maternal.is it? |
hardbody: Popsie was a full fledged igbo man, him carry waka enter Calabar, my momsie show am skills for akpako and food things, the man gently marry the woman, na so i become half igbo and half calabar.were you full "insert something here" before? |
sandijey: Yoruba/ itshekiri.my friend knows a lady with your combination who knows almost nothing about her yoruba side. |
