seems that incident seriously demoralised govt/federal universities as a whole, and provided a boost for private university enrollment. the difference between student morale in the eras before and afterwards, cant be compared. now, this new era of students looking uneducated and preferring public cookouts to studying, where is it leading to? |

suntemi1: I always envy my mum whenever she speaks yoruba in Ekiti dialect. She will be like 'Yeye re siko'? and the reply will be 'O wa lule'. I can speak lagos yoruba wellaly but other ones men 'I dey struggle ni'.that should be "e lule", not "o wa lule" which mixes standard yoruba with the dialectal one. |

FOOLFINDER: It is quite amazing the difference between a Nigerian's or an African's description of Heaven and Hell and a foreigner's.When a Nigerian sees vision of heaven and hell the major message of that vision is that people wearing trousers will go to hell,women with attachments will go to hell,that is even more than the message of Christ whereas when a foreigner sees Vision's of heaven and hell he doesn't mention a word about it.Is God a racist that he will give a different set of rules for the blacks and whites?Like no make-up and attachments in similar visions of heaven and hell?Cultural differences for the most part. Personal perceptions depending on exposure, etc. |

For wetin nah?:some people skipped primary 6, others who went to private schools, could also start form 1/jss 1 early. there used to be a common entrance exam for admission to secondary school, if you did it and passed in primary 5, you could move on to secondary if you wanted. not sure how its done now though. |

when did nigerians start celebrating primary school leaving certificate? am i missing something? lord have mercy. and the paper itself is not necessarily all there is to primary school, what about the name of the school, your classmates at the school, etc? |
