delors: Full blood. Lagos born. I mean we have news and basically foreign news most of the time on FP and in sections so 'Nigerian' in that bar doesnt seem to catch the full content of the forum. we could simply have 'Forum'.Very incorrect. I dont know if foreign news dominates frontpage but where are you seeing foreign news in politics section, or are you referring to the "nigerians deported from other countries" as the foreign news in question. And even at that, still relatively little interest, so to speak. You sound very suspect, however, you can carry on. |
ShymX: I don't consider myself to be "shiit" - I consider Nigeria to be a cesspit! - peep the difference! If you are nigerian and say you're from a cesspit, then all you're telling people is you're sh!!t |
ShymX: So basically because they're Nigerians, Botswana should allow them destroy their country as well, yeah? Some of you are just re.tarded beyond redemption. Perhaps, the question you need to ask yourself is that: how come it's always only Nigerians that are treated that way?Well, you just answered your own question. When you consider yourself sh!!t, why shouldnt others add more. Sorry! In any case, just like countries reserve the right to encourage immigration from particular areas they consider of interest, why does everyone shout when they also decide to discourage the same? |
Arsenate: well said. The thing with my yoruba brothers is that they don't travel; for most of them, life starts and ends in the SW. Cities like port harcourt and uyo are doing much better than most SWern cities and they're governed by PDP so what are we talking about? Not everyone has the travel bug, but some yorubas do travel. |
All these people being deported are probably married to indigenes of their adopted countries, just like with the kenya scenario. Nigerian govt should plan for their resettlement if their families decide to join them in nigeria. |
Land values will appreciate for sure. |
hard to keep track of all the "facebook studies". the last one i read implied fb users were nuts, or something similar. another one said if you dont have many fb friends, or are not active on fb, that means you have a screw loose. |
we're already in the d.o.t.d what's next? |
Javanian: Hopefully, Time travel would be possible one daytall order but never say never i guess. |
dunno, probably just let God adjust it as He deems necessary, and if He says it needs no adjusting, then so be it. |
well, this is still my opinion:
its hard but one should try not to let the hurt have the upper hand.
![]() however, its a free world, nothing's set in stone. |
good one, may God grant us the grace to heal from bitterness. |
@ topic i think there was another lady here who said she wrote Zara the Windseeker. however, she didnt identify herself ie not sure she's active on nl. https://www.nairaland.com/332444/nigerian-ever-written-science-fiction |
this author was on nl, i bought his book [poems] years back but he's currently left the forum or is on hiatus i think. https://img1.imagesbn.com/p/9781934360538_p0_v1_s260x420.jpg |
Blessmira: U see wat baba Fash...iola has caused. He started d deportin @ local level. Now it s Botswana's turn.are you proud of your d.umbness? |
lucky them. |
Its important to respect people's privacy, if you have no idea what that entails, it means minding your own business and stop sticking your nose in what doesnt concern you. Inasmuch as the person in question did not ask for your input or opinion, you can keep both to yourself. applies both within and outside nairaland. |
they must have just finished reading the little white horse. assuming the story is true. |
Act 1, Scene 2, Page 7 CASSIUS: I am glad that my weak words Have struck but thus much show of fire from Brutus. |
julius ceasar Act 1, Scene 2, Page 6 [modern text] BRUTUS: More shouting! I think this applause is for some new honors awarded to Caesar. CASSIUS: Men can be masters of their fate. It is not destiny’s fault, but our own faults, that we’re slaves. http://nfs.sparknotes.com/juliuscaesar/page_18.html |
We could just have "Forum" on that bar removing both "Nairaland and Nigerian" because the "Nigerian" there serves no purposei assume the op is not nigerian. |
Isnt this matter of random sex getting out of hand these days, so much trouble over people's booty calls. Why should the entire group of africans in the compound be arrested over one person's booty call issues? Is the place a brothel?. they probably dont have papers either, big wahala there |
Another "Fa" ? Fashola is ok though, |
So, more gay immigrants for america. |
Do you mean handsome and rich, influential, etc? |
The nigerian govt is supposed to create return zones or towns to cater to returnees. |
