Andre Uweh: Lets get this right.
There was no WAEC in Imo state in 1989, as the state started implementing the 6334 education system that year. That means that the set in 1889 class 5 went to ss3 in 1990.
But it was not implemented nationwide. My elder brother was transferred from Imo state to IBadan in Oyo state and in that 1989, he sat for his WAEC at Emmanuel college, Samonda, Ibadan.
So, it is wrong for anyone to have accused Kanu of writing WAEC in 89. False
every state implemented the 6334 ssce diploma in 1990 [as far as i know].

however, individual schools made the decision whether or not to have a graduating class in 89.

agreed, most [or many] did not, and were maybe not supposed to, but some did.

on whether kanu finished in 89 or 90/91, or later, its not certain. He finished whenever he says he finished.

@ op

can you explain better, what are you talking about?

pre-intimacy or just general interaction.
Family › Re: How Do You Play With Your Wife.forming Or Freely. by tpia5: 3:20am On Apr 06, 2013
whiteroses: forming are for pikin / old school nigerian women. As a sure wife once a week you shower secretely and wear a sexy lingerie underneath your robe, after meal with him not working the next day, you actually needs to approach your man like a tigress, make him so weak for you and have some fresh love making session that will blow his mind. This is different from bedtime quickie. Girls wake up ibeg
i dont think the op was referring to sex, unless i was reading him or her wrong.
Romance › Re: Why Do Ladies Cry When The Man Ask "Will You Marry Me" by tpia5: 3:14am On Apr 06, 2013
tears of relief or joy.

relief if the girl has been wondering if the guy will ever pop the question.

joy if she's happy.

if something other than those two reasons [eg tears of sadness or anger], na wahala be that.

I also hoped he would pull through. At least, he has good works by which he would be remembered. The same can't be said for most people. The man went out a fighter.[/quote]True.

Dont know whose reviews i can read now, his were always on point and in depth.

Wish he'd stayed around a bit longer.
Sports › Re: Taribo Was 40 While Claiming 28 – Former Partizan President by tpia5:
uncle u: You sounded so sure I thought you had your facts right. Kanu Nwankwo could not have left secondary school in 1989 because nobody in the old Imo State graduated from secondary school that year. The set started the 6:3:3:4 system in Imo state and spent six years in secondary school instead of five. They graduated 1990. Nwankwo for your information graduated 1991.
It depends on the school.

Some schools had the waec up to 1989 while others stopped in 88 and started the ssce system in 1990, meaning no one graduated in 1989, in the latter case.

It wasnt necessarily a statewide thing although technically it was supposed to be.

so, individual schools determined if they had a graduating class that year or not.

The nation's best-known movie reviewer "wrote with passion through a real knowledge of film and film history, and in doing so, helped many movies find their audiences," director Steven Spielberg said. His death is "virtually the end of an era, and now the balcony is closed forever."

so many eras are ending this year, this is not good.
