Logicboy03: He/she did nothing to me. My failures are my own.Nothing wrong with handling the issue that way either. |
ezme: NoWell, good for you then. That's also an option. No sense worrying about what cant be changed. |
True, whites might be under less pressure because they can always get a husband at any age. |
Btw, there are other jobs your friend can get, God willing. |
If you hang around oyibos and westernized peeps, they'll tell you everything going on with them. Its just a question of what do you want to hear. Many nigerians do not have that luxury of free talking because of the crabs in a barrel environment. However, oyibos have societal support ( if you touch them, be sure they'll get you sooner or later), so there's less fear. |
And how does that undo what has been done? |
nigeria has suffered!!!!! yabbing everyday. ![]() |

if a witch came to you and told you exactly what s/he had done to destroy your path in life, would you believe him or her? |

Small time now somebody will ask if its good to wrap moinmoin in leaves. |
I dont have a problem with it. And the newspapers arent dirty, they're just old newsprint that's being recycled. Even fish and chips in britain is sometimes wrapped in newspapers- what's the problem? |
Nasri100: Azonton dance is the movement...so when you step step move it to the right left right **singing**Ever heard of the "hustle" plus that one they usually dance at weddings? Macarena nko? Aerobics? |
What is azonto, what is alanta, and what is wrong with speaking english. Arent all these "moves" just recycled american dance anyway. Just saying! |
Maybe you should focus on poultry in the north, or dont they eat any? |
Dyt: And wat is madam Tpiah on abtJust answer the questions and do the other things i mentioned, thanks. |

The eloping being discussed on the thread is in the context of the family being against the relationship. If they're not, then it just means you had a quick wedding. |
Making four threads/ topics. |
ubong560: NOTE: Exactly what happened in my neighbourhood last week.Is it the same neighborhood as the one in your mechanic story? |
How many of you are using this id? Cos you're posting with different types of english. I go soon comot this thread now, make i no disturb you. |
Topic Nigerian culture is based on voodoo, which typically encourages social stratification at the expense of "scapegoats" who are turned into "sacrificial victims" for the rest of the community to trample on. In places where poverty and illiteracy is high and fear has a strong hold on the minds of the citizens due to various calamities and backwardness happening in the community, people who are considered agents of the adversary, will be blamed for such. Now, as to whether the agents of darkness are indeed the people named ( some do confess), and the best way to handle the matter/s, often tends to be caught up in hysteria. Usually, when someone is a witch, he or she is unable to stop destroying others- it becomes a second ( or is it primary) nature to destroy, often for no other reason besides obeying orders or simply because its what you do. |
lagerwhenindoubt: I think this is a serious call to action - When i was vibrantly active in the study of the occult, i still went to church on Sunday and participated in house Fellowships.. I found it strange that I was not found out. only one person suspected because of my "strange" interpretations of scripture.. outside that i went undetected for years.. perhaps all this witch-hunting is borne out of the need to remain popularUsually, weird interpretation of scripture combined with behaviour, are signs the person is a cultist and/or into occultism. Not sure why most christians prefer to ignore this and would rather want to believe the issue wont affect them. |
obadiah777: SCRIPTURE DO SAY MATTHEW 5 VS 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earthWanna post the rest of the passage? |
Boomark: He uses it whenever he errs not knowing the scripture.Yes, he has standard stock phrases which he recycles with unfailing regularity. I would have quoted this particular one earlier but was waiting for him to do it first. |
There's debris on the ground. Not sure what you're envying, but to each his own. |
Sirniyeh: .After dem don talk am say you like women. |
