I've long said beaf isnt nigerian.

its very obvious his knowledge (if it could be called that) of nigeria, is so limited.

most of the regular and funny posters have fled, me inclusive. What we have there are just very few and dry posters.
see horn, toot toot.

lol.

ben10 even fled too (can u imagine?! Mod?!).
oh, he did?

anyway, too bad abiola isnt around to help out this op.

he specialized in assisting needy women.

but obasanjo is still there sha- and he's very welcoming, in case you want to try his side? huh

if you fancy younger men, then maybe you could try your luck with paddy adenuga? huh

if car note is making you see dollar signs and ululate, then i wonder what "agaran" (ie fresh minted) money will do to you.

but why not throw yourself at grab jakumo? He seems to be what you want in a man.

"car note"

lol.

maureen could either mean black [not darkness], as a latin form [same root word as mauretania and moor], or it could be derived from the hebrew miriam.
Romance › Re: He Was Driving A Benz, But I Turned Him Down..... by tpia5:
poster if car note is tripping you like this, then i wonder what you'll do should you see a man who pays cash down for his cars? More luxurious cars than benz?

you'll probably strip n.aked and display your goodies in a desperate bid to snag the guy.

it looks like you've never seen money before or else or benz with car note wouldnt be tripping you in this manner.

poverty [in your case, greed] is not good sha.

btw, all these men you're stalking- are they safe? You seem to spend a lot of time looking for males to spy on.

mapet: You guys fly false information so loosely here and it is dangerous. Anybody living back then knew that the primaries that produce the candidature of Y'ardua and the likes were fraught with widespread irregularities, money-4 votes scandals and it was a complicated mess.

....and it is false that it was MKO that told Babangida to cancel the primaries. check your fact. It was Babagana Kingibe (who was Y'aradua's prodigy) that in fact suggested it to Babangida. Babangida taped that conversation and showed it to the late Y'ardua.
i dont know who is who or what is what, ok?

I dont remember the specifics about whatever happened before that election. All i know is the candidacy of bashir tofa was a very fishy one, because quite obviously he wasnt a serious contender yet the race was between him and abiola?

post your links if you feel strongly about your comment. Then let the rest of us examine them.

did you forget to add "his or"? huh
Politics › Re: Was M.K.O Abiola Truly A Martyr In The Interest Of The Masses?? by tpia5: 10:25am On May 31, 2012
HAH: Abiola instigated IBB to cancel the SDP and NRC primaries that produced Shehu musa yaradua and adamu ciroma respectively as candididates so that he can be the president, the candidates were also banned from contesting.
that's interesting. Gives a clearer picture of those days. No wonder the north was allowed to vote for him en masse. I always wondered about that.

Lol!

But the President is the maximal custodian of the law of the land. He is its sovereign.
even obama doesnt utter such statements.

shows your low IQ grin

i guess you're mixing up democratically elected officials with the british monarchy.

Imagine if in my home state of Maryland, the Governor of Maryland had decided to rename UMD the University of Fuckistan.

And then someone had given some mumu reasoning like, "Oh, well UMD is the property of the government, Governor O'Malley owns UMD, he can build or destroy it as he pleases. See this list of universities that have been renamed before."
governor wetin?

these people remove public officials without batting an eyelid.

in britain, an entire cabinet got dismissed simply because they bought chocolates or something.

the current govt wanted to tax meatpies- the people told the official [cant remember which one] he better not do that, and the matter immediately ended there.

Politics › Re: Belgore: Right Procedure Not Followed By Fed Govt In Renaming UNILAG by tpia5: 3:44am On May 31, 2012
the only law we need is one preventing serving public officials from arbitrarily changing names of federal universities or institutions unless a referendum utilizing input from various levels, quarters and stakeholders [namely, students, govening board, staff, etc], has been passed.

or better still, just pass a law barring the renaming of higher institutions.

build airports and rename them, or build new schools and rename them.

@ katsumoto

actually, the school was renamed university of chicago booth school of business, not booth business school.

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is a graduate business school located in Chicago, Illinois, at the University of Chicago. Formerly known as the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Chicago Booth is the second oldest business school in the U.S.,[3] the first such school to offer an Executive MBA program,[4] and the first to initiate a Ph.D. program in Business.[3] The school was renamed in 2008 following a $300 million endowment gift to the school by alumnus David G. Booth. The school has the third-largest endowment of any business school

Katsumoto: So because it was a Business School that was renamed, the Alumni and students or the Business School don't matter? Do the students of university of Chicago pay the same annual fees as the Business School students? If you are not aware, Business schools in the top 20 have their own very strong brands, in fact much stronger brands than most universities.

I will let that last remark slide for now.
oh, i didnt look at the id before quoting the post.

my apologies- i thought it was one of those old/new faceless nlers [or beaf] with multiple ids to chat nonsense, who made that statement.
Culture › Re: Why Do Yoruba Guys Mostly Marry Igbo Girls Than Vice Versa? by tpia5: 3:17am On May 31, 2012
Why should my tribal heritage matter. I know the yoruba culture, speak the language, know my village and respect my family's honor.
and does that change the fact that you're half igbo? huh

while i dont necessarily support your ex boyfriend's attitude towards your background, why didnt you tell him beforehand that your mum is igbo? huh You dated for 3 months and he still didnt know?

If you're dating a yoruba person, that should be one of the first things you tell him, imo. Otherwise they'll be wondering why you dont act like an average yoruba.

as per the rest of your post and the thread title: its been hashed and rehashed many times over.

The University of Chicago Business School (a top 20 Global Business School) was renamed the Booth school of Business after Booth who donated $300 Million to the school.
but the university itself wasnt renamed booth university.

why are you noticing her pills and how she takes them? huh Are you a doctor?

americans tend not to notice [or maybe care about] body language which shows the recipient of their attention considers them intrusive.

if the lady is superstitious, she might wonder if you're hoping she'll keel over so you can get at her son.

just guessing here, of course. I could be wrong.

in civilized countries, people use think tanks, conduct research, sample public opinion, etc before embarking on projects which are geared towards the public.

is there anything like that in nigeria?

shut up you m.oron.

when you were posting s.tupid pictures of your village and terming them ilaje, you gave a damn about ethnicity then.

oniranu jatijati.

as per your senseless post- THE WHOLE WORLD knows its always the yorubas who sing one love like eni ti won fun ni nkan je.

when the southwest led the t shirt march to install gej in power, of course you wouldnt see ethnicity then.

when obasanjo put gej in aso rock, you didnt see his ethnicity then.

i doubt people are even going by that name anymore, seriously speaking.

if morufu is now al maroof, and so on ad infinitum, I'm sure the moshoods of today would prefer to be called al mashud or al ma'sud.
