any succesfull womanizer needs to be in touch with his "feminine side" because he has to think like a woman in order to successfully conquer one. so if being in touch with your feminine side means being bi in your world then YES, call us all bisexual then.

very true.

only that i can say maybe they are speaking the (un)diluted yoruba
they're speaking standard yoruba, which is a bit strange unless that's their lingua franca.

I finally found some info, and it seems their language is assumed to be closer to ife dialect (central yoruba) though still cant say for sure.

agreed
from when i was young i was told by my older ones that the yorubas and edos have a very very strong bond stretching over the years
your older ones must be edo or maybe ife i guess.

my own relatives told me no such thing.

Joagbaje:
So what does she call the baby ?
But Why not complain to your pastor? At least he can correct her . What advice do you want to recieve here?
what's there to correct?

the child is still her baby and personally, i find the topic very strange.

maybe the name chosen by the op is difficult for her to pronounce and he probably didnt spend any time teaching her how to say it. And i dont see why the baby cant be called by it's yoruba name as well anyway.

i cant imagine how a simple thing like a christening is now a big problem.

na wa oh.

when some people are even praying to God to give them their own children, would christening the child generate all this wahala.

YoungBrain:
idumota and idumagbo do not sound yoruba at all !!
I have alaways wondered at their meaning/origin
when you land in kirikiri try to analyze the name and see if it sounds yoruba.
